I remember as a kid, my 2 brothers and my cousin would regularly crowd around our tiny CRTV (13"?) and play for hours. We likely have each of us around 4,000 hours in Air Ride. We would regularly get all the achievements, then start over on a 2nd memory card for fun. The first time it took us about 14 months. After that? Maybe every 6 or so we got all the achievements. Kirby used one of the Machines to fly into the Destroya's cannon, swallow a bomb, and nuke the thing using the Crash ability
Some people don’t understand the frustration of having 2/3 parts of the dragoon/hydra in city trial and having a friend ram into you and run ALL your pockets 😭😭 then you get no machine for the final race 💔

I had a really shit weekend since my earbuds stopped working, with the only replace ones I have sounding like you threw a walkie-talkie at a wall and my monday was just worse...but seeing not only Kirby Air Ride but specifically City Trial really saved this mess of a day, and the filter you used for the parts where youre just sitting and explaining something to make it look like its on an old TV which you could kill a man with if you chucked that giant cube at him really helped masking how shit my earbuds because of how immersed it made me feel. My sister and I loved messing around in free mode as kids. We naturally got the 2 hour achievement just because we were doing stupid things like playing hide and seek or trying to destroy a bunch of vehicles. In a similar vein, my sister and I used to play camera mode in melee and snap a bunch of pictures (usually after maxing out the poneball drop % and spamming them in the stadium stage)

An 100% completion of my favorite kirby game, absolutely wonderful and have childhood memories of it as well. Really hope this game gets a sequel or ported one day. Also I have never seen someone struggle to get air glider and I got it on like my 5th time playing the game when I was little xD

I used to do this game with my friends where we would do Free Run and one of us would be Hydra while everyone else would be any other star and it was kinda like a boss fight where the Hydra player was the boss that the others were trying to take out. When the Hydra was defeated, the role of the Hydra pilot would pass to the next person. It was tons of fun back in the day!

See, on budgies you can usually tell their sex by the color of the pad above their beaks, where their nostrils are (the "cere"). Females will usually have a brown or pink cere while males tend to have blue. But the vet was also confused because apparently brown ceres in males is usually a sign of testicular cancer or iodine deficiency and my budgie had neither. This dedication makes me wanna het a rom of the game and actually beat it for a change. I was about roughly 85% with all of the modes and never beaten them. Also very impressive but also interesting you used the shadow star against King D. It was tough but its nice you made it, but the way i did it was odd but helpful. I used either the Swerve Star or Wheelie Jr. and grinded up offense and charge and if the spike power up appeared, i spam tf out of the A button. But this is true dedication as a whole...but i pray to god for you when you do Air Ride...its horrible
