IDK man, this is one of my fav mechs. When I was tryharding it a few years ago, I would break 1k dmg with it all of the time. Basically never got under 700dmg or so, even in a stomp loss.

The trick to a Griffin is not to expose it to fire for very long. It's large, its hitboxes are not forgiving, and it has no armor buffs except for the arms (one of which doesn't need it). MRM's and light peeps are your best tools on the 2N. Don't be lured in by the possibility of 4 SRM 6's, it doesn't have the staying power. My humble suggestion: A\4:2:51|Rg|i^pa0|X@|X@qa0|X@|X@|^
Hi, new subscriber here, I had the same problem with the griffin. I have a suggestion. the griffin was weird for me until i put a 300 xl in it so here goes. Ahem... Endo and light ferro, full armor and ecm. 4 srm6, 2mlas 4.5 tons of srm ammo 3jump jets.xl310. Mrm's dont seem to be doing all that much damage lately..so it seems. med pulse is too hot over time and the er mediums cooldown is too long. So, like goldilocks said "medium lasers are just right.
I had a hard time coming to like this mech until I went all in on the MRMS, and now can do decently with it.
you can squeeze 2 MRM30's in that bad boy, pretty sick imo

Run dual MRM 30s in the side torsos. Pop Tart with very high mounts. Racks up damage with the 60 alpha

Or dump the mrms and be a terrible erppc sniper.
Delete the light ppc maybe bigger engine xl jumping. Bigger shitter urbie.
