People talking about how talented he is... I'm sure he is, but this is not a display of talent, more so a display of skill. He invested a lot of his time and effort into this and it shows. Way more impressive than mere talent. Kudos to you sir
yeah a lot of people have a strange idea of talent. when you see someone doing something well, you're seeing skill, not talent. to see talent, you would need to observe how easily they learn. you pretty much need to be somebody's music teacher to judge their musical talent. or I suppose with enough knowledge, you could derive a talent assessment out of observing somebody's skill and asking them how long and how much they have been playing - at least some outliers could probably be identified this way.

That arrangement works so well for the acoustic guitar. Arpeggiating chord progression before the last chorus reminded me of sections of Stairway. The singing style fits your vocal capabilities nicely-- melodic with longer held notes with vibrato. Your vibrato on the high notes was great 🤙
Corey is one of the best guitar/vocalists I've heard. He is meticulous and truly a joy to listen to and watch. Makes me realize how much much more I need to practice, but makes me improve so I don't mind really.
Holy SH*@ !!! I came across this recommended from the classical guitar guy doing Hysteria, so I was just like "oh hell yeah, a straight acoustic instrumental too" I was not ready for the vocals, and I'll be damned if you didn't nail it!! Mad respect man. Pure talent!

I've covered this song for years, but could never quite resolve how to blend the bassline rhythm into the electric guitar riff melody, you did it SO nicely. Very well done
