She inherits a portion of that wealth which is generated in India. I don't know why she has any obligation to pay a tax to UK on that wealth (generated in India) while she is an Indian citizen. No country's laws on earth provide that weirdness. I don't know how Sunak earned his wealth, but if he did it through Govt corruption, then he deserves this defeat and should be prosecuted under law.
