I really hope it's Grijalva's year, he's been super slept-on despite being an amazing athlete but hopefully some more big wins like this finally get him the recognition he obviously deserves.
Really enjoyed the finish, first race I've watched without commentary but the angle really showed how fast the kick was. Who are the guys with the USA kits on? 4th and 6th (and probably others)
Luis looks so strong right now - he was absolutely flying on Nico's instagram story the other day during the mile trial! This makes me feel even more desperate for a Cooper Teare VS Luis Grijalva VS Connor Mantz matchup
@Daniel Bausch whether u run 100 miles or not a week doesn’t really define you. Joe Klecker ran 100+ every week in college and got beat by cooper teare in the races they competed in while Joe was a senior and cooper was a junior/sophomore. Some people do better with different mileages.
Mike Smith probably wants to give him an extra year to develop physically. Better to think long term and develop Nico rather than racing him hard in his freshman year that probably won’t count for much anyway.
I mean, it’s no secret that Nico is a superstar. Mike Smith is probably limiting his racing so that he can get some higher level training first. NAU won anyways, so they’re probably saving Nico for the bigger stuff
Why are all cross-country courses at the college level easy and run on flat fields. My high school course was run through woods, through creeks, up and down monstrous hills, etc as are several courses in the region I grew up in.
There are minimum standards for championship courses such as width for passing room. OSU has to be able to handle 250 plus runners. Just NCAA standards
It’s not that these courses aren’t tough because they are, this one specifically has some rolling hills here and there, but creativity in course creation is definitely lacking at the college level, probably because of NCAA standards. You’ll never see a course like Mt. Sac at the college level and that’s a real bummer.
Looks like the Beavers had 5 in before everyone else. But it was close. BYU had 2nd and 3rd place. They might have had 5 in before the Beavers. Close one. Why don’t they add a still image of the results??
@@ADailySliceOfOranje are they the ones with the orange shirts? The orange shirt runners starting with short dude on the left had several in the top 20.
Here are the results: results.tfmeetpro.com/Red_Dirt_Race_Management/OSU_Invitational/ For you Nico fans, Jace Aschbrenner placed 25th. Many past and present Colorado Buffalo ran as unattached. As a team, they would have done well.
Another video with gas kart just dusting and gassing the runners the whole time as well as destroying the audio. For how many subs you guys have, that’s terrible.
23:28 8k that's WHAT 5 miles !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I remember running 15 minutes FOR 3 miles and 26 minutes 5miles on the road.....23 minutes on the COUNTRY???????!!!!!!!!!!!! SUICIDE SQUAD. 😂🙄😂🙄😂🙄😂😳🤪💥 THAT'S ALL I CAN SEE... .SUICIDE SQUAD @
this is groundbreaking for flotrack
We should rant every video similar to this to get the full race

not quite - but it's a good start

He’s a stud ! Before I knew about him I would always see him in races
haha guess what, he ran a 13:16 the other week and beat cooper teare AND drew hunter
Luis is going to the top!
So true. Luis Grijalva is an stunning runner and person. He is a real trailblazer born to run. God bless you all
Race Commentary: We got time, uphill coming up, downhill coming up, uphill coming up, downhill, 1k left, brad who farted?, good job.

Yes
If Grijalva isn't your favorite runner, you're wrong.
connor mantz is one strong little man. grijalva and clinger are goated
They really did it. Thank you! 🙏🙏
Really looking forward to seeing Luis G do better in races, been a favorite of mine since when he was in highschool
23:15 fantastic finishing kick!
Connor mantz always looks like he’s running at full speed. (I know he isn’t, it just looks like it 😂)
Bro starts his kick with 8k left
Right lmaooo
He shows how hard it is to run 4:40 for 8k
Honestly
@GCAM ERS 4:40 pace
Flotrack has exceeded all expectations
Deduct 20 seconds, for the 8 or so front runners time, for inhaling the fumes from the filming vehicle.
I could be wrong but their usually electric.
@@Jack-iu3gt listen at 19:54. The drone of the engine is very loud. Electric would have a higher pitch or very little sound at all.
Lol
Straight up ballers right there.
keep uploading awesome stuff like this!

CU runners, at least for 4th and 6th

Coop is diff🔥🔥
@Daniel Bausch he works his butt off more than anyone on oregon. He’s just goofy on camera but he’s always putting in work on strava.

@Daniel Bausch yea fair point, Donnovan brazier runs 25 per week at the most and look at his world class times
@Daniel Bausch but I mean in high school he ran that during xc and still had good times
The sound of the Gator (ATV) put me to sleep!
why not electric ??
Thank you flo track........NAU is strong!!!!
They sleepin on the boy Lalo from Colorado 🔥
what an amazing finish beautiful to watch
who won the race as a team
Why not film in 60fps? 24fps is too choppy. Great Race, Great Athletes nonetheless.
Good job. 1 up to date race on the list 😂
I live it Flo Track keep it up!
Is that on the old golf course behind Iba?

Good run. Impressed by the native mans authority and pace, really ran off from the pack. Good show.
Do you mean Luis Grijalva?
He’s from Guatemala
What other teams were here? I thought it was only NAU, OSA and BYU
Southern Utah, K-State, OU, unattached CU runners, UTEP and I think OK Christian
NAU won with out beamish or young they are unstoppable
Beamish graduated bro. He’s a professional runner for ON
U right I’m smokin crack my bad
No worries OG! Still crazy how powerful NAU is a as a program though!
That's was a great race, but holy shit that grass is (was) immaculate
A downhill finish looks like too much fun
BYU’s five ran like 24:30 and I’m like where’s there 5 at?👀
Where's Nico young 👀👀

That course looks fun
The last cross country race that Mantz lost

So real talk how much eligibility does Casey clinger have?
All of it
i raced that osu kid in high school, man is a goat, destoryed me and i thought i was hot shit with my 15:27 5k 🤣
