Been a bit messy with the schedule recently, but loving Kenshi so far so we'll be doing 3 streams of this character for a main channel video. Once done with this series, we'll be doing Skyrim unpatched PS3. I planned on doing all 3 streams before leaving for the weekend but realized Kenshi can be a huge grind. Especially without knowing all the mechanics that well. I took a break after the second stream to grind a lot in my free time so we can be set up for a wild finale stream early next week.
Kenshi is great for long form content, but the grind can be made more bearable with exp gain mods - so don't let the grind burn you out and keep you from creating a potentially awesome series!
@@BunzLee I'm tempted in the future maybe. For now I'll just stick with it vanilla and see where we end up! I think I have the team fairly close to solid without weapons or a homebase. Just waiting for a few milestones to tick
As a Skyrim Legendary Edition owner for the PS3, let me tell you that you are in for a rough time. It's good that you are a masochist because the PS3 version is the worse version out of the 1000 versions that Godd Howard made. Once your save reaches about 10mb in size, you'll start to experience far more crashes, lag, and console freezing. Your save on the PS3 will endlessly bloat for some ungodly reason and the only cure is to start a new save until that one eventually bloats itself into a coma also. Etcetera etcetera. Godd Howard's mercy be upon you, for the Vigil has none to spare.
Gosh, I look forward to Joov so much. I've watched every vod, I just play them at work. Such a breath of fresh air with positivity, and Joov is very intelligent.

I have around 120 lifetime hours, have never killed a world boss and have never reached end game. Confidently, I'd say it's for sure a top 10 game for me
I love that Joov is getting the REAL Kenshi experience and like MANY of us spends the first 1hour of the game confined to a Jail Cell, fighting off starvation, and receiving butt kicking's ......AHAHAHA (>.
He says we're going to get some experience points by getting in a fight and It will really help kick start things, then he spends 45 minutes crawling around on the verge of losing a leg
Also, since Star Wars was mentioned, there is a Star Wars mod for Kenshi that is apparently pretty extensive. I haven't tried it myself yet, but after this series I'll probably be getting back into Kenshi, so I think I will.
I have a cool, original and totally not overused idea for an intro to ur Kenshi Campaign. As u get enslaved and carried over to prison, the screen fades to black. We begin to hear the armor of ur enslavers rustling around and the wind whirling up the sand of the desert, the screen slowly begins to fade back to your character and a white big text introduces us to Bethesdas Skyr-

I like Kenshi. On my best save file my main character is a martial arts Skeleton, and using a mod that allows me to recruit people who I'm holding prisoner I built a team out of all of the world's best Skeleton characters plus Beep. I then used the same method to acquire a small army of headless skeleton warriors that I then used to crush a gang and take their weapons and armor to upgrade my headless legion. Next I sent them to crush the Swamp Ninjas and enslave the survivors into a stealthy kamikaze squad. Using advanced training techniques that involve keeping a limbless skeleton prisoner as a live dummy I trained all of my troops to have high levels in sneak (at least enough to sneak-run) and assassinations. My main crew of elite Skeletons (and Beep) can stealth run anywhere in the map without much worry of being detected, and then KO and kidnap high level bounties to either turn in, recruit, or recruit then turn in and break out to farm the reward. The Skeletons are nice for not having to worry about food.
Top 3 rules of survival. 1. Never leave town until your athletics is high enough to run 20mph. 2. Get a thieves backpack asap as it doesnt damage your states as much as normal ones. 3. Never go anywhere near beakthings ever.
This is a lot of content so I haven't even finished the first video, but have you considered joining the shinobi thieves? You literally just have to pay them 10k once and then you can get 50% discounts at all their towers in every city plus their lockpicking and assassination training. If you're wondering how to make 10k fast, its grinding leatherworking rattan hats. Buy a hut in the hub and build a leatherworking table and armor crafting table. Loop is Hub -> hivers -> sheks, buy all the leather and fabric. Rinse repeat. Feeling brave? Fight some monsters near the hivers for more leather. At 80 armor crafting you will make bank. Pick a scorchlander to sit at home and auto assign jobs. Also they eat less than greenlanders and sheks, and they can eat raw meat. They have a bonus to armor crafting. Build correct storage and they will grab from it. The hub is also a great place to hide away if you have a bounty. They are neutral and in the middle of the map. You could alternatively recruit a skeleton and they dont eat at all but dont have the bonus.
btw if you steal something in the environment you only get cought if you are seen if you steal something out of a chest you have a precent chance to get it depending on your thieving level if you steal something from the environment you can drop and pick it back up to powerlevel your thieving p.s. loved the vod
