CRK knvies are no figdget knives. :) Known for not being....The Spyderco SB? I bellieve it's discontinued. :) I'd condier it if it was still in production. They should bring it back...
I own both knives. Both are great. I would break in the Sebenza and it'll be much smoother. I can easily swing my sebenza 31 open like any other folding knife . I can choose to slowly open it or swing it open with a light flick of the wrist! I broke it in after just a Couple days and it became one of my favorite knives to carry and use for hard use.

I have a couple reasons why I went with that particular name 1] Its Johnny Cash's CB handle in the song ''1 piece at a time Cadillac'' 2] I have been wrangling/capturing venomous & non venomous snakes for 35 plus years, 1st for fun as a kid an then professionally starting at age 18 when I got a job capturing & removing nuisance animals/reptiles from places they are not wanted, 95% of which are cottonmouth's/water moccasin's in my area of East Texas ! So among my friends & family Ive had the nick name ''cotton'' for MANY years !!

And I actually love snakes in general except for the invasive constrictors haha, I just am always especially wary of moccasins here in Florida because of my Dog so always poke fun at them. Not enough people actually capture and relocate them as opposed to the alternative. Also, I absolutely Love Johnny Cash and didn’t even think of that. Major respect 🙌👍

I have both and they are both wonderful.
What sharpening system do you use?
Some stones and a strop, but I usually just keep them touched up and don’t have to re-profile.
Why not ditch the thumb stud and machine a spydie hole into the Sebenza blade?
I haven’t tried the Bowie but I’m really not a fan of that lock. One of the things about the sebenza I don’t like.
Frame locks are not for everyone!! Definitely not my favorite locking mechanism either.
