Thank you so much for this review! So helpful to see the hair after it’s been washed!

You are so welcome! I am not sure if this maybe is a one-off...... but it did look okay after a good flat iron LOL! Thanks so much for your reply!

Brilliant review. I have purchased 3 of these wigs now. It’s a great wig but I find the lace front tends to stick up a bit forcing me to cut in a fringe to hide the hairline. Only ever lasts me around 4 months as I wear them every day. Becomes very puffy over time, but I find that happens with all wigs. Currently in search of another wig to replace this style but struggling to find a replacement.

4 months is definitely not great as far as longevity ... in my opinion!~ The lace front also was an issue for me, it just wasn't as thin/soft/fitting as HD and swiss lace.... Have you been looking at the smaller brands for Human Hair wigs? I find that the quality is a lot better with the smaller brands than the big brands, but just my 2 cents LOL!

@@LisaGraceAdventures thanks for responding. I have been replacing them every 4/5 months however after watching your review I realised that I was making a mistake in just leaving it to air dry. I practiced on my old Emotion wig and used my hair straightener to style the wig. It looks much better now. I’ve always been too frightened to use heat to style my wig. The longer I wear wigs the more I learn 😄Thank you for your review, it’s the best and most honest I’ve ever seen.
I’ve just ordered the Ellen Willie SPECTRA plus at a good price, I’m hoping that this fits around the hairline better than the EMOTION.

@@juliegunn4338 I use heat between 280-300 on mine, never had any issues... I do use heat protectant (pureology or redken) and finish off with a teeny bit of olaplex oil (no 7) or K18 oil.... I also use either every few days of wear, just teeny bit to keep hair hydrated. I learn new things all the time LOL so I get it!! I definitely feel the biggest contributor to keeping the low density sleekness to the hair is flat ironing before styling. It really flattens that cuticle back down!~ I am so happy to hear that it helped and let me know what you think of spectra!!! I think wig outlet has great sales from time to time and they carry ellen wille, jon renau (returns from their other website) and they have a generous return policy. I am wholesale with ellen wille, but have only filled a few orders for them. I seem to prefer more of the smaller brands these days, new wave hair co. being my current fav!~ Take care & let me know how your new wig turns out for you!!! Have a blessed night

Sorry if I missed it but what wig are you wearing at the start?
Also, which brands do you find get the least frizzy? My worst has been Jon Renau followed by Ellen Wille then Trendco. (Maybe cause I live somewhere humid, it affects the wig hair.) Trendco almost never gets frizzy.
The unfortunate thing is that the first two do much better caps.
Thank you for showing an honest review.

hello!~ At the start I was wearing a 14" iWig in silver platinum, human hair 🥰 As far as least frizzy: here is my take!!~ I loved synthetics soooo much until after the first wash, that is when I noticed the biggest difference in 'feel/frizz' from when they were new. I live in Florida, I tried everything!~ Ultimately I ended up switching to human hair full time after feeling like my synthetics were just not lasting long due to change in fiber feel... however, if I had to pick 🤣 I would say that raquel welch wavy day was my most long lasting style.... I thinned mine, and they did look really pretty. I have been toying with trying a synthetic again soon! I love ellen wille, but only certain styles. I found touch and arrow the fibers were thinner/drier feeling and to me looked frizzy, touch sort of felt frizzy/dry from the get go. I loved belle tress...but found the same issues as soon as I washed them, they were just never quite the same..... thanks so much for your question!~ and your very welcome, I really find that almost all wigs have something annoying that I battle lol..... BUT I just seemed to battle my synthetics so much more than human hair.... have you tried any human hair? It is so hard because they are all just so dang expensive, and synthetics even keep going up in price! once they were about 1/2 to 1/4 of the price of human hair, that is about when I switched. human hair I find can last years with very careful hair.... I wish they would come up with a way to make synthetics softer, flowier like real hair.... sigh..... 🤭🤗

Thanks for making this video. It is a pretty wig and looks real, but I agree it could be even better quality of hair. I see the flat iron made it much better.

You are so welcome! I totally agree, the flat iron definitely made it 'wearable'.... but overall I was honestly a bit disappointed..... (I hate to be negative, I truly love ellen wille and have had maybe 15 styles so far) with so many choices out there, personally I have found others that worked better for me in the long run... if the lace front was perfect I could easily deal and just flat iron.... but there were just a few things with this particular style.... Merry Christmas and thank you so much for your comment!~

@@LisaGraceAdventures What human hair wig do you feel is the best? I have several Milano wigs I like. I like their princess wig because it’s low density.

@@chrischamberlain7628 ive been wanting to try milano, Lisa is sooo sweet and when I started selling wigs a pal told me to reach out to her being new. She was really nice! So far ive personally tried/used 15-20 btands or so. (My wig journey has been sort of comical searching for what I love!) My personal favorite for silk top is iWig and thats because once thinned a bit I find the layering they do perfection, love the hairline and the cap to me is heaven lol (solace) as far as lacetops my fav right now is highline, I think their hair quality is amazing, its slightly more coarse than iWig, the fly aways are perfect and they sit sooooo flat! I like lower density personally.... with beachy curls!!!! There are so many amazing brands out there though, those are just my personal favorites!!! IWig I think is one of only brand that garantees there product by manufacturers warranty (like more than the usual 30 days I seem to find) I haven't ever had any issues, but heard as long as the wig has never been colored, they do fix issues if they arise...... I am going to have to get my hands on a Milano at some point 😆

My understanding is that to prevent human hair from puffing up after washing you are supposed to blow dry til straight. Otherwise the water is retained inside the cuticle. You are not supposed to air dry most wigs. Tower dry and remove all water then blow dry with a round brush, then curl when fully dried with the dryer.

    • @LisaGraceAdventures
      @LisaGraceAdventures  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

There are different ways to wash/dry/style human hair wigs, it is personal preference. When wigs are allowed to air dry it shows the quality of the hair. Like Euro/slavic will dry with zero frizz, brazilian will dry with some frizz and so on/so forth. I have always air dried my wigs overnight, and find that most wig pals seem to prefer the same. My daughter is a hairstylist, completely get what you are saying about the cuticle of hair. The way I flatten the cuticle on my wigs, my personal preferred method is to air dry overnight...then flat iron under 300 degrees, then curl with a 1.5" barrel..... just what I prefer. Have a beautiful day!~

@@LisaGraceAdventures I also air-dried for a very long time....and maybe it does depend on the type of hair whether the water stays in the cuticle. Interesting that the hair type is a factor. Makes sense, thanks.

@@nylamatuk4783 It could have to do with the silicone amount when a wig is made too.... some seem super coated LOL and others it washes out easily! Thanks so much for your comments 🥰
