In today's Christmas video, Gary takes on the 100 yard 40mm challenge with a Sub 12ftlb Tx200HC and a MTC King Cobra, can he kill a target in a blustery wind and finally prove that he does not completely suck.

This is the problem when you have wind over Christmas take it out on the ladder 😂
Thanks Gary for doing these you and Matt Gleave mean I have no money but am having the time of my life. 😂
Thank you for another informative year. Your presentations are excellent and so realistic. I cannot understand why you only have 91 likes? .One of the 2 best air-gun sites on the I/N. My very best wishes for the future. (This message comes from Bedfordshire - so it's travelled 100 years into the future!)
Sub 12 with little 8.44gr pellets at 100 yards is good going. The wind really will be pushing them pellets like mad!
Great shooting Gary. Happy New Year. 👍
Another great video, mate. 👍
Keep up the great work.
One of very few, in the world of youtube airgun channels, which addresses HFT.
Every one’s a winner.
Here’s to better UK weather for 2024 🤞
I keep dreaming of owning an Air Arms TX200, so this video whets the appetite even more.
Thanks for this Gary and I too wish you and yours all the best of good health and happiness in the New Year 2024.
Nicely done Gary, Happy new year to you 😅
Gary hope you and your family have had a great Christmas and all the best for the new year. Thank you and all the team for your uploads over the last twelve months. Regards from Suffolk 😊😊😊
Cheers Shirley
Thanks for all the great videos and hope 2024 is a great year for you.
Great video as usual Gary, all the best for 2024
Another great episode. 👍🇬🇧👍
Thanks for all the great content over the last year, Gary. Happy New Year.
Cheers Bill. Chilly
@garychillingworth hi Gary
You videos have helped me a lot with understanding HFT
I would like to ask and wondered if you would do a video on how hft clubs see the sport staying alive?
Me and my son have been trying to get into any of the local clubs for well over a year now, and it seems impossible.
I have been invited to a few clubs as a guest but when I visited there seemed to be no one there, in all my visits not a single person was on the hft course, and from what was apparent it seemed to be a lot of older folk.
I just don't understand how we can get the younger generation interested and keep the sport alive if the clubs are full of the older generation that have membership but don't even attend the clubs?
We have been visiting as many pay as you go ranges as we can but my son is beginning to loose interest as he wants to have a go at HFT.
It's very frustrating and would love to know your thoughts on this? I hope you see this message,
Cheers
@@kbeightyseven1783 Hi, I'm so sorry to hear that
Where in the UK are you based?
Gary
@garychillingworth South yorkshire
A lot of clubs around, emley moor, redfearnes, anston, etc
It's difficult to even get a response from the clubs, places like doncaster arc are thriving with many junior shooters, but hft clubs seems to not be particularly interested in new younger members
I understand there are maximum amount of members for insurance but to even get a response from a club is rare and usually pretty blunt and along the lines of ' we aren't taking any new members'
I have never experienced a sport like it.
Thanks Gary for a cheerful video. Brave man shooting at a 100 yds. Springers are great fun.
Have a healthy and prosperous new year.
Dave C. From the heathen north.
Merry Christmas sir. We love your videos and tips. Much respect from the United States.
Greetings from across the pond.
Beautiful openi g mate . Well said and well played 👏
Great shooting Gary. Hope you and your wife have a happy new year.
Cheers Paul, much appreciated.
Heck of a job with a springer Gary, kudos!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😎😎😎😎😎
Now then boys a suggestion whilst the target boys tend to use Diablo pellets I have used mako/zan slugs in 10 grain for around a year now in both a red wolf and lately a alpha wolf for hunting which both shoot sub 12 very well my main reason for changing to slugs was the knock down Diablo can pass though the hollow point slugs tend not to prove a point 25 yds ish can of pop bottle of pop either works empty the contents fill with water and see the difference and there is a difference the exit hole a how hard it dumps its energy food for thought I also tried many specialty hunting pellets but with varying degrees of success and lastly slugs stay flatter for longer hope this gives you some food for thought as there’s a lot of hunters out there
Gary, you rocks. But with the JSB exact heavy 10.34 grain you will be The Gary. I use 10.34 only, because of windy days, which here almost never stops. 😂
Ill give them a try. Chilly
That one hit made your day didn't it. It would mine. Have a good New Year Gary.
Hi Gary,be blessed, like all your videos,so much to learn, can you do a hft course with your weihrauch hw98 ?
Crackin video.
Merry Christmas to Y'all.
Terry.
Accrington.
I'd love to see how mick does on a hft course with hft rules, as we know he's a fantastic shot. So be interesting to see how he does.
Sorry Mick lol😅
That's a great idea.
All the best for 2024 Gary like your videos and nice to see you at our kneck of woods with mick Gary ❤😂
Thanks Bob.
Hi Gary I would like to see you try out different brands especially at lower and mid price ranges.i have a reximex pretensis and ixia for example and I would love to see you compare them against the higher end guns you use on the channel. It would be very interesting to see how they match. I'm sure Crawley surplus store will lend you a few different brands to test out against the big boys.Love the channel at looking forward to seeing what you get up to in 2024.
100 yard kill , 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I'd be well happy in those conditions at that distance
Hi Gary merry Christmas and Happy New year could you look at the hw110 please
I'll see if I can borrow one. I have a hw100, is it specifically the 110 you want?
@@garychillingworth yeah please
A brilliant video ,and quite a shot, may I ask what is the advantage of the moderator for this shot as a keen observant fan you don't normally use one.
Any way happy new year and hope to bump into you again soon over the MAD House
Hi John, putting weight on the front helps with flip and recoil. Also, it just made the gun more accurate.
Hi Gary do you know if Vector scopes are spring raited ? Or any other make with a budget of £120 ,with a ffp ,side focus, and lumanited retical , and say as much mag as possible but will still need to get them 10m shots in ,cheers ,sorry ive gone down the scop wrabbit hole ,i was ok with my FAC scopes but now using a HW97K 😊
Hi dude
Did you ever break your rifle scope ?
Thanks you
Bench Rest for 2024 please Gary & All the Best for the New Year👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻the cheap way 🤔🤔

I'm a Portuguese FT shooter in springer. In Portugal it usually rains little, but sometimes it rains. What is the best equipment to protect my TX200? Thanks.
Thanks for the video. Is this a "standard" power TX200? What are the additions to the barrel?PS I have a TX 200 and the same string (Screwfix...)!
Sub 12ftlb with standard internals. Just a few wheel weights on the front.
@@garychillingworth Aha, thanks. I have a non HC - works the same 🙂 .
Good shooting love your videos a quick question how much lead have you got on your tx I've just made a barrel weight for mine it weighs 1 kg .
4x 60g so, 240 plus the silencer.
@@garychillingworth I might have gone a bit ott but you got to start somewhere. I found last week shooting it rested without holding the front I was getting 1 mill dot of mussel flip .
Which silencer is that? It sounds real quite@@garychillingworth
@@Morecocksthanhands it's a Huggett mate

Question. What is that attached to the top of the barrel?
Hi, it's a muzzle weight made from 4 strips of wheel weights
Thanks, just wondered.
What's the power on tx ?
775fps around 11.6ftlbs
Hi viz camo? Have I missed something??
You’re a little mixed up lad, it’s either hi viz, or it’s camo, the two just cancel each other out! I never seen such nonsense 😂 like turning left and right at the same time🤦♂️
Happy new year 😉
Happy new Year Noel.
Humans can see the Orange, Animals can't. So, you are invisible to a deer, but won't get shot by someone else
@@garychillingworth ah yes them pesky yanks again and their mad ideas, a rabbit sure as ££££ will see you in that get up😂
Infact, if you watch my first ever video (it's Bad) we give a full explanation :-)😊
