The gun club i am with , ive been a member for 5 years, is absolutely brilliant, the guys are mostly old farts like myself, I've made alot of good friends, some unfortunately have past away ove the years, all of them are guys I'd trust , the banter and p#ss takeing are second to none, it's just nice to go for a few hours have the crack put the world to rights and drink tea , whoudn't have it any outher way , 😁👍

Joined my local club about a year ago and it was the best thing I have ever done. We are very lucky with a 3 lane indoor bench rest range, zeroing area, plinking range and HFT and FT courses. But the mates I have made make all the more worthwhile after a week at work it is great to unwind with likeminded people.
I have found a lovely little clay shooting range that are really friendly and informative and offer 50 clay targets and the use of a club gun for £60 which I think is pretty reasonable compared to some
Gun clubs are good fun.We used to go on organized range days for full bore at 100...200....and 300 yards ..Meet all different kinds of interesting people.
Very interesting! I've just binged a half dozen of your videos trying to get my head around this HFT thing. Such variety of equipment! Can you give some details about the guns and optics that the top competitors are using? I thought I'd narrowed down my list of possible scopes, but I don't see anyone adjusting paralax or using a lighted reticle! Also, do I really need to buy/build $2000+ gun for this game? Is there a class where I can compete against other factory stock TX200 or BSA r10 rifles?
We have the Monkeys up north here which is great with a fantastic set of lads but wish we had a facility like MAD for practice, FT club in Newcastle but not a very welcoming place.

Hi Gary, there is no hunting at Pete’s Airgun now. The membership has grown so large and anyone doing this has to 100% trusted so it was decided to withdraw this. The other activities ( like metal detecting, bird watching, camping and archery are all still available. ) Hope you feel better soon.
Richard woods has always been a hero of mine, I met him in hospital when he was getting his haemorrhoids treated... again, such a nice bloke! well, when he is winning anyway... face like thunder otherwise.... dear me.. Before he bleached his hair white, he was ginger and never did well in the sun.. oh no.. but from memory he was a great driver! Would love to meet him again!.... he owes me a tenner, lots of love and kisses spongey xxx
Ah, yes, Spongebrain, I remember you, you were the bloke that was so bad at shooting, you left to go and paint your living room. I remember that day when my 3 year old sister beat you in the shoot off for last place, you looked overwhelmed with self pride. Hospital was fun, I remember when that nurse tried to chat you up and you was really embarrassed when she found out you were gay. They whipped my haemorrhoids off real quick, but I recall your penis extension was a tough job, as the surgeon had nothing to grip during the operation. I know you was annoyed that everyone on the ward called you Mr Shrinky, but I thought it was most apt. Hope you're keeping well and that the bridge club doesn't find out about your transitioning. Hi Gary did try the local hft clud ok at first then started say my air rifle was not good enough ,don't have lot of money ,made it not fun anymore

You have Kent Woodsman for FT, Iden ferns for generic shooting. For HFT, You need to come a bit into Sussex with Hoarsham and Buxted.
