My Favorite Armada Starscream Scene

- My favorite scene from my favorite episode of Armada Starscream other than Cramp. His death scene is often the most talked about & his abuse of course, however the music & how the show steps back from its constant talking (except small noises) to let the scene speak for itself.
The complete series is on Tubi.tv (Season 3 Ep 8 where this scene is from) & I will add in the youtube playlist as well (Ep 34)

Series belongs to Takara & Hasbro.
The entrance alone was a masterpiece he came back and shocked immediately everyone this starscream can be a bit arrogant but he's a fighter with no equal
Exactly. They were all like: "how is this possible; He was supposed to be dead."
Even Megatron admits somewhat respectfully: "I believe I might have underestimated Starscream."
He's so bad ass. I want to watch the entire series now :P !
@@thomasgrabowski2202doooo itttt
In my book, Armada Starscream will always be the best Starscream of them all. He broke the Starscream archetype. He's strong, intelligent, loyal and cares about the wellbeing of his homeland and people. I think that he'd do well in the prime universe. He'd be Megatron's trusted right-hand. The soldiers would be at ease, knowing that their commander cares about them and strives to improve their training. Skyquake and Dreadwing will look at him like he's their son/nephew. Knock Out and Breakdown would reagrd him as a dear friend. Even Soundwave and Shockwave, while not openly friendly towards him, would feel at ease around him.
And as for the Autobots, they'd certainly learn to respect and somewhat fear his strength, loyalty, intelligence and ferocity
Not to mention a solid, 5-star performance by Michael Dobson from start to finish.
@@TPDManiacXC626 oh, yes
I would’ve loved it if Prime’s version of Starscream would’ve joined the Autobots, in season 1 episode 22 “Partners”, I genuinely hoped that it would’ve happened.
It's ironic that despite this series having one of the less evil incarnations of Megatron, he actually treats the Starscream most other Megatrons would be glad to have.
@@dragonstormx quite. Other Megatrons would literally kill to have a second in command like Armada Starscream.
"I tried to gain favor from you but nothing was ever good enough. No matter how many battles I fought, you always found fault. Then I saw how Optimus treated his men and I realized he was a leader of integrity. Unlike you." - Commander Starscream.
The best Starscream of them all
I wish we could see more incarnations of Starscream like Armada Starscream.
Me too. It'd be quite a refreshing change to break away from the original Starscream archetype

Same. The closest we have now is Thundercracker.
Don't know if you've read the comics, but IDW Starscream turned out to be a shockingly sympathetic and heroic character when all was said and done, and Armada was clearly a strong influence on his characterization there.
He was special..
Starscream: "You double-crossed me! Left me for scrap! Perhaps I should repay the favor!"
Thust: "Megatron, Sir! You wouldn't let allow one leutenant to harm another, would you?"
Megatron: ...
Thrust: "SIR???!!"
Megatron: "I'm thinking..."
Starscream (grabs Thrust by the head and pushes him towards a spike on Megatron’s throne): I am more than tempted to force you to share Shockwave’s perception of things!
@@TPDManiacXC626 thrust starts whining:
"No... I only did what I thought best for the mission. But to my defense I'd like to point out that it was my mistake that made this fortunate outcome possible. If I recollect, you always say that the mission must always come first, don't you;"
I can't help but imagine Megatron from Prime would be torn if he had to choose between his Starscream and this one. Armada's is more powerful in a fight and fits with the warrior idea he's got in mind...on the other hand, like Dreadwing in that series, he'd be more independent-minded, and in case of betrayal, might actually overpower and kill him without any convoluted plans or sabotage.
@@TPDManiacXC626I think you mean Shockblast. Because The Creator’s of The Unicron Trilogy couldn’t get the rights to use Shockwave’s Name and That’s why Shockblast is named Shockblast instead of Shockwave.
@@morgant.dulaman8733Yeah that true, It would always feel like" today the day he quit"
Armada Starscream: Thundercracker
Energon Starscream: Skywrap
Cybertron Starscream:...Well, Starscream.
Perfect analogy
So true
Armada Starscream is peak.
G1 might be classic, Prime is well acted and designed, and Cybertron Starscream might have had the most successful track record, but this Starscream made us genuinely care about him in a way no other had before or since.
In my book, Armada Starscream will always be the best Starscream of them all. He broke the Starscream archetype. @@ΧΡΗΣΤΟΣΑΜΑΝΑΤΙΔΗΣ-β7μyou already posted this
1:43 i like how Demolisher sides with Starscream despite not having a good relationship with him.
As a matter of fact, these two are one of the closest thing resembling friendship in the Armada decepticon ranks
@@ΧΡΗΣΤΟΣΑΜΑΝΑΤΙΔΗΣ-β7μ I feel like Demolisher respects Starscream more than Starscream respects Demolisher. They don't see eye to eye considering Demolisher has a huge amount of respect for Megatron, while Starscream resents Megatron for obvious reasons. Even with that, Demolisher respects Starscreams' rank, and follow his command when it doesn't interfere with Megatron's own. There's as also the fact that Starscream isn't as overly jovial as Cyclonus, and has more honor than Thrust.
@@R0-83-RT good point. The way I see it, Starscream regards Demolisher as the "good son" who is "dad's favourite and licks up to him." That's why he's not particularly open towards him.
But put that aside, they somewhat care for eachother: Demolisher saved Starscream at Rebellion and Starscream talked Demolisher out of fighting Thrust in Tactician.
@@ΧΡΗΣΤΟΣΑΜΑΝΑΤΙΔΗΣ-β7μ Actually, I say Demolisher and Cyclonus are best friends within the ranks. Starscream and Demolisher can just tolerate each other.
@@dodge1515 true. But they still come to eachother's aid if needs be. Demolisher saved Starscream in rebellion and Starscream talked demolisher out of fighting thrust in tactician
I'm happy to know that armada is still getting love and attention from the fandom, starscream carried the show
Also Can you make clips where starscream act nice to his minicons ?
For sure!
@HeckinSnek
Yes! Transformers armada but it's only starscream and minicons
This is indeed one detail that seperates Starscream from his comrades. The other decepticons view minicons as weapons and tools, but Starscream shows genuine concern for them. It is important for him to take care of them and somewhat hang out with them. It shows that he's a good, caring person even though he sometimes finds it difficult to express it
@@heckinsnek8724 thanks, man. You have no idea how appreciative we are for bringing Armada Starscream back to us. Hopefully we'll get to see more of him soon enough
Looking at his character arc, starting off as a villain, works with the heroes before his darker desires cause him to rejoin the villains, but then he truly redeems himself, all while showing he's not such a bad guy deep down, this show's Starscream was the original Prince Zuko.
Take a second to appreciate how good Michael Dobson's voice work here with Starscream, when he confronts Thrust. He manages to make him sound like he is growling and hissing a bit in the way he inflects. It's interesting because while distinct he does sound like Chris Letta's Starscream at times.
He make a great Dino-bot.
For a warrior as noble as Starscream, being abandoned by your own is the worst. No wonder he snapped.
You can just feel the anger and rage starscream is trying so hard to keep in check. No words needed just the music and him.
Oh, yes. I am certain that if Megatron didn't intervene, Starscream would have just keep on beating up thrust until he had turned into scrap metal
What a fine scene. Starscream has finally had enough of dismissals, putdowns and mockery
They really left Starscream to die so they could get the Requiem Blaster and thought he wouldn’t do anything about it. This defection was long overdue.
When Spider-Man stops talking: 🗿
When StarScream stops talking: 💀
Rip and tear it is.
😂 I think it's Ironic that this THRUST is just as Cowardly and sneaky as the one we grew up with in G1
Armada Starscream was the only starscream where It felt like a breath of fresh air. I’m tired of the weak traitor Backstabber, that we see all the time I want to see a character like this again for starscream.
I feel you, man.

We should really see a similar redescovery of this approach in the future
This Starscream was my childhood, while Cybertron does have the backstabber traitor Starscream that incarnation was actually one of the few incarnation that not only follows through on the backstabbing but had a higher track record of victories and even going toe to toe with by Optimus and Megatron throughout the series.
1:33 To be honest, Thrust isn't wrong there. I mean any other version of Starscream would've done the same thing to Megatron.
Maybe. But not this starscream. Hence why he took it so personally
Feel's rich for Starscream to talk about double crossing when the other incarnations always tried to double cross Megatron.
This version is actualy pretty loyal, and just want recognition; it's within his right to be angry against Thrust.
@@bosskaiju4834 exactly. And besides, Starscream just had a pretty shitty day and the guy responsible for that is right in front of him.
In this universe, Starscream might be the one of those value loyalty and commarades more than anyone else if not the most.
But, Megatron just thinks of getting rid of him for having sharp personality and star saber, then Megatron will have all Decepticons under control, as well as taking Star Saber for himself.
So yeah, Starscream must rebel here, otherwise, no future for him.
@@DrPhoenixJKZ exactly. Megatron and Thrust had made their plans regarding Starscream and his well-being quite clear, when they were alone:
Megatron: I can't blame Starscream for being upset. He has been through a lot lately, hasn't he;
Thrust: Yes, off course. But he brought this on himself, Megatron, sir.
Megatron: That's true, Thrust. He sure gave you a beating. Can't you take better care of yourself;
Thrust: Oh, he's nothing I can't handle. And it's a small price to pay for putting the Requiem Blaster back in your hands. It is the duty of a loyal Decepticon.
Megatron: I am glad you feel that way. But I think that I might have underestimated Starscream. After all, he brought the Star Saber back to me. So perhaps he might be more valuable to us than I originally thought.
Thrust: Hmm...Perhaps. I suppose I should have let him through the Warp Gate. It was my only mistake in carrying out your plan...well, at least we now know who we will send in first the next time we come across the Autobots. Yes, I agree, sir. We should keep Starscream around a little while longer.
Megatron: Poor Starscream doesn't have a clue to what he has gotten himself into, does he;
Thrust: I have so much to learn from you, sir. I admire your ability to be so cold. Even if it means sacrificing one of your own men.
Megatron: Well, how else am I supposed to keep the Decepticons in line, let alone conquer the entire universe;
Thank God that Starscream was there to hear every bit of it.
@@ΧΡΗΣΤΟΣΑΜΑΝΑΤΙΔΗΣ-β7μ Yes. A few moments agao, Megatron and Thrush talking about throwing Starscream to Autobots, and get Star Saber for Megatron himself.
A few moments later, Megatron calls Starstream as someone taken by emotions, and always wants to take over his Decepticon leader place.
Oh my…… Can not imagine how the rage bursts inside of Starscream.
It’s weird that Thrust is the true starscream than the actual starscream
This is why starscream is my favourite character
Transformers Armada is criminally underrated. It's my favorite after transformers prime.
Before Zuko, there was Armada Starscream
In Armada universe, Starscream was the true hero of Cybertron.
He stopped the battle of the Autobots and the Decepticons and united them against Uncron, so unfortunately he died
Hmm... if a new Transformers series tried to pay homage to both Armada and G1/every other Starscream, should he start out as loyal and, one way or another (perhaps he starts to see the Autobots in a better light and questions the need for war and Megatron orders someone like Shockwave to mess with his brain, or perhaps he just changes over time), become ambitious and backstabbing, or should he start out ambitious and backstabbing and then, again, one way or another become loyal and honorable (again possibly through getting his brain module messed with)?
Oh that could be awesome, it just need good witing and it will be awesome
Idw(2005),Cybertron(sequall show) and Tfp did that.
Evil Conspiracy should straight up be Starscream's theme song.
Starscream was having a Zuko moment in this episode.
Wheeljack in Armada is very G1 Sideswipe esque. Especially when he started at Starscream.
Cyclonus is hilarous lol...god I miss Armada....this is how you deal with double crossers. Starscream style! (h) !
What makes this scene better is how Starscream does what the rest of Cons wanted to do Thrust. Unlike those cowards, he's not afraid to back up his words against Thrust.
You got that right, mate.
Look at their reactions. Thrust is a little taken aback, Wheeljack’s surprised, Demolishor and Cyclonus are visibly angry - oh, but Megatron! He feigns relief at Starscream’s survival, *even having the audacity to sneer at him.* Not one of them genuinely cares for him.
And it''s precesely why Starscream finally got fed up with this abusive enviroment and sought refuge to the Autobots.
0:31 The moment Starscream became my most Favorite Decepticon (this version at least)😁🤟👍
This entrance was pure badass
The one and only canon starscream for me.
G1 is classic, Animated has the greatest antics, TFP is the best performance, RID 2015 has the greatest design, Earthspark has great development; But the greatest of them all is Armada Starscream.
1:10 Smacked the shit out of him 😂
0:32 that music, it’s in so many things and I can’t believe it’s here too
The closest example I can think of is Phantasm’s theme
wait whats the music? its so nice and fits starscream so well 😳😭
@@Kairi2789 I have no idea, it’s just a common motif used in stuff

It’s not a mistake it’s a ✨ *M A S T E R P I E C E* ✨

Armada Starscream is best Starscream!!

"Starscream. That is quite enough."
Thrust deserved it! I don't blame Starscream for being mad. P.S. I had a crush on Armada Starscream since I saw this series in High school 2016. (He's handsome, brave and has a sense of honor. He is H-O-T!)
I wish the star saber that came with Legacy was bigger,
I wish it was actually made with Mini-Cons.

Bruh, I thought Starscream was gonna whoop everyone's ass.
He does on the next scene
After watching gen 1, the editing and voice acting for THIS show just hits so weirdly. Starscream sounds great, but something tells me this series was NOT originally American.

I don’t why but this scene where Starscream Beats Up Thrust reminded me of Megatron doing the same thing to Starscream in The Episode Rebellion. Because you can see that Megatron Horrible Treatment of Starscream is starting to effect him and his temper is bad as Megatron’s or Worse than Megatron’s Temper.
Starscream always had a difficulty controlling his pride and his temper.
But unlike Megatron who vents up his frustration to a soldier who did nothing but obey his orders, Starscream has every reason to snap at the guy who orchestrated the plan that left him stranded at the Autobots' mercy.
It's a shame energon and cybertron ruined starscream
Honestly,Cybertron preety much fixed The Starscream, and turned him into a menace for both side.
Energon was the one who ruined Starscreams redemption arc.
