What a fantastic historical building, and a national treasure of the USA and the music recording industry in general. The amount of great records that were made there truly defies belief.
Fascinating. So much history. The sound of the main room upstairs was instantly distinguishable. I cracked up to think that Wild Horses was written while sitting on the can - Keith or Mick? Maybe it doesn't matter - lol. Great tour. Thank you for sharing.
I wonder if Denny Cordell will ever get the credit he deserves for all the contribution he made to music. I am an avid reader of biographies and I can say that in one and another his name always comes up. For example he was the architect of Tony Visconti traveling to England and becoming a producer. Now I find out that the name Swampers came from his mouth. By the way, hats off to the guy in the cap for all the stories he knows.
It was actually Mick Jagger who wrote most of the lyrics to Wild Horses while sitting on the throne, which you saw upstairs. Keith wrote the music and suggested the title.

Kuhl jacket for the win! :) Another great video - love to see these...
LOL - I love that jacket with all the pockets. Good for rain and not too hot.

@Michael H. Keith had actually already written the music, and the words to the refrain. Mick wrote the verses.
