I’d love to see you do a 4max scout in any type of metal scales, either brass, copper, titanium, or even steel. Yes it will be heavy as hell but it would be a tank of a knife haha
I close most of my Cold Steel with one hand especially anything with a coil. You just have to have your first finger close to the choil when releasing the lock bar. Let it drop to the half way position then move fingers and then give it a shake and let the weight of the blade drop and the back spring suck up the blade. Long explanation but I have literally done this for more than a decade without any issues or cuts. Edit:. Sick mods you got me wanting to get some more tools and do mine that way. Hopefully JimiSlash was good for business I definitely subscribed because you are great at what you do and your videos are awesome too!!

I screwed up the first pivot hole. The problem, that pin has the flat top, a recess below flat top, and the smaller shaft. I screwed up the hole when I tried to counterbore that second recess. What bits did you use? I’m having a lot of problems with this one just using a drill press like you did.
Well I’m done with my scales. Is there anyway I can send you a photo? Without your awesome tutorial, this project would have probably been more expensive.
Curious why you didn’t blacken the screws… I’m currently in the process of drilling and cutting. I bought the dark matter green. I was a little pisses when I got it from Lithuania. I’m enjoying my project as well.
