The Secret to Growing Huge Beets

Growing organic beets is easy, they take up little space and are ideal for beginners. Beets are also nutritious, delicious, and versatile. Huge beets grow best in fertile, well-drained soil. Sow beetroot seeds outdoors from mid-March to late June, into a shallow drill, 1cm deep. When planting (or transplanting) space beetroot seedlings 20-25cm apart. Water the beetroot regularly. This reduces the likelihood of the roots becoming woody or splitting. Beetroot health benefits include improved blood flow, lower blood pressure, and increased exercise performance. Many of these benefits are due to their high content of inorganic nitrates.
