- @Slammed_mk1_bomber has been waiting for me to make this edit for 4 years. I have been waiting 4 years for him to finish this build.. You put a 3.2 in a mk1 and you get a rowdy rabbit. one that spins tires and deafens you at the same time. Insane build so glad we finally got too shoot.

Just bought an 1981, can’t wait to tune it
I miss my MK1 1983 jetta . Put tear drops on it and dropped it with Autotech Suspension. Setup JBL 8 in sub and five 1/4 speakers and front door had 4x6 . Two amps . Not suoer fast but in NYC i was like a rabbit in traffic loved it! That machine you got there is freakish and love the stickers on the i side of the doors!

Liking that Shark paint scheme. Wishing my 84 Mk1 2-door had it. Has a light grey-stone PO paint job...just needs that extra something. One of the POs beat the poor thing half to death. Was apparently used as an initial-push-assist for small diesel speed runs...I THINK by Moon Eyes themsleves. But slowly getting it fixed up. Fuse panel gremlin has it parked for now while I use my alternate 81 Mk1 4-door aka Lemon Snowball (color AND one-thing-after-another). Be a different story when I get my Some-Assembly-Required 81 Caddy (and that's being NICE!) finally together. All are 1.6D NA...just wish had a turbo engine. MIGHT retrofit the Caddy...
In the meantime...enjoying near...at...or marginally superior to Prius economy at a fraction the cost.

Tyler can you make like a instruction guide on the steps you did to make this build possible. What things were you able to reuse from the stock car and what parts did you need to get. I assume you had to change the clutch to the mk3 vr6?

The iconic shark mouth is always at he front of the nose of whatever missile or airplane it is on. Quite frankly, it looks fucking ridiculous halfway down the car - miles away from the eye.

@@tylerultimo9680 I did, couldn't hear the diesel Golf. I'd suggest to look at how Petrolicious does their videos. The music in this vid is fine, but 70% music to 30% engine and ur gonna have a bad time. The filming is really good tho AND the intro vr6 pull into the music transition is really cool. But I totally get that you can't satisfy everyone, some people like more music. Just not me

I already owned the car, and with the purchase of the entire swap, with whole swap kit from eurowise, im about 5k in just the swap. And i got lucky with engine and trans, and i got some discounts considering i personally know the owner of eurowise lol but it was worth every penny.

I drove it with the stock 1.7l for a year and a half, then my attention was drawn to my mk4 gti, and the i finally decided to swap the rabbit. Logican also lived an hour away so it was hard to sync up our schedules to finally get an edit done!

@ElectronicRedPanda I grew up around 4 door MK2 Jettas, they seem just right to me. I can't deny that coupes look great though.
