The "Mouthy" companions are often the best. Folks like Barbara, Tegan, and Donna, to name a few. Arguably, it was Barbara's intervention in the earliest episodes of Doctor Who that made the Doctor the person they have been ever since.
Joy was the flesh host of the starseed and she rose so that the starseed could bloom. I agree though that the specifics of how it works weren't really explained as well as they probably should have been.
She was the only person left alive with a connection to the device (which was about to explode) after the Doctor messed with Villengard's control over it. Trev (or rather his AI ghost) helps in this regard as the device is lost from the Late Cretaceous until about 2000 years ago (going the long way around) giving him time to figure out how to interface with it from within.
A note on Joy to the World: the Villengard plan was to create the iconography of the Star of David that's pivotol in the stories that helped shape Christianity (and their plan worked perfectly) - because Christianity led to the creation of the Church the Anglican Marines were a part of, Villengard's biggest customer. It's another bootstrap paradox like the code to the briefcase.
I reckon Ms Flood might be a version of the Valeyard. She knew Sutekh was about to happen, she’s the only non god to break the fourth wall other than the doctor, and there was the leaks that ncutis seasons are about him becoming the valeyard. Plus she wears old companions clothes! 🎉
I feel like there were major plot holes in the Christmas special (I still really enjoyed it and found it fun,) but it seemed like there were hints that the star seed was like, it's own thing, and good, and Villangard was just trying to control it for their own benefit (the briefcase with the handcuff and count down etc. were not part of the star seed. Not sure if the star seed was like, an alien in it's own right? And not evil but rather like, some sort of system of beings? Idk, curious to hear others theories
I haven’t seen the recent Christmas special but what you are describing sounds likes a sacrifice of some sort. Rise of flesh could also be talking about birth.
I agree that Joy to the World didn't make a whole lot of sense overall, fwiw. Just felt like they had a lot of reasonable ideas going in different directions, and couldn't figure out a way to connect them all into a sensible story.
I kinda hate _The Pantheon of Gods._ Giving a bunch of classic Doctor Who villains a group discount card in the form of a "Harbinger" (do you get it. It's like a harbinger! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) lessens them all. The universe is a BIG place. Just let them (and the War Chief for that matter) be their own things. The Toymaker is from outside the Universe itself. Sutekh was a powerful alien. The Mara has an origin story. Just let 'em be.
Please Please PLEASE stop saying people of the interwebs at the beginnjng of your content l. Its always annoyed me an such a put off. Also thinks its overdue to lose it
Wish Ncuti would stick to one costume template. In the promo pic of Kate and Ruby it looks like Nardole, a stranger and Rani are on a monitor. If they're coming back I'm going to loose my mind. Need more involvement of UNIT in the main plot not just as support and exposition. Maybe the planet and saucers are connected to the Empire of King Hydroflax. Not one species but several he conquered and are infighting over who is in charge after his death. If the Doctor gets pulled into a cartoon why not explore the different animation styles in the past. In all honesty no new, character, actor, villain or planet is going to get me excited. For now I would rather see the series build on what's established
I Don't think it matters what he wears tbh still gonna watch it hey haha , also nice to see a nice comment that's not slagging it off and saying woke and being negative as f minion So....glad ❤
@@LydiaHaterStevie well it's more to do with the fact that the consistency of the costume makes the character of the Doctor more distinctive and recognisable
Joe, this will be the season that will answer the all of the biggest questions of our very existence! Life, the universe and everything! _Season 42!_

If you saw the Doctor Who proms, Mrs. Flood stole the moment with her villainous acting. She’s gonna be brilliantly insane 😱🤩
I like to believe that everyone who works on Dr Who, all of their office computers auto correct the word Gravity to Mavity just incase

Sutekh was a dog in Pyramids of Mars too. You could see that when he lost his mask.
Look at previous pictures of Gallifrey. The towers with half-sphere domes and narrow spires is absolutely the look of the Capitol of Gallifrey.
I haven't reviewed the trailer properly yet but at first watch I thought it may have been Skaro. I don't trust RTD to bring Gallifrey back correctly 😅
Ngl, that huge animation thing looks sick, btw why does rubies hair look weird?
I thought this Eposide was Brilliant. Thoroughly enjoyed it . Billy

If 15 becomes the valeyard then how do we get from that into a nice Doctor Moon incarnation?
3 videos on Christmas and your fan film tomorrow, you're a very very busy person lol.

2:20-3:03 Didn’t Kate once say a while back she was married with kids or am I just imagining it?

Are some clues saying mrs flood could be ....¿the black guardian?
Damn I always thought Kate was gay. I remembered Gemma Redgrave mentioning it or something
My bet is Mrs Flood is either the terrible Zodin or one of the Pantheons
Kate having a romance partner adds some to her character.
Wallace and Gromit in depth analysis?
It's SERIES 15, not season!
Scary Poppins!!

I enjoyed the doctor who episode who easl enjoyed it
the cartoo character is the boneless
Why is the doctor still such a cry baby????
Because of all the numbering issues and the Timeless Child arc, we are on season 42, with the 33rd on screen version of the Doctor. Timey-Wimey
Special kinda dissappointed me. But I'm excited for new season.
It looks like Belinda Owusu is back playing a receptionist after appearing as woman with pram in Church on Ruby Road.
Yeah... Sutehk... God of death... and is some what of a furry...
Wish Ncuti would stick to one costume template.
