It had major flaws and ready to fall apart pretty much, took pics of sword and the the shipping box and have sent them several emails and they just tell me it was UPS fault. Have yet to hear from them and it’s been almost two months.

The swords your calling carbon steel , do you mean stainless steel ? I’m a metallurgist and a kendo / Tameshigiri practitioner and the high carbon steel starts at 1045 to 1095 and 9260, 5160, T10, T8, 1060, 1055, 1070, 1080, 1065, tamahagane, 5166, L6 Bainite, S7 shock steel, and any folded steel can be a bad choice if done wrong because a layer on one of the 15 folds can have an air pocket or a bad weld and it can be the weak point of a sword to break . The swords you show look to be wall hangers and that’s not a bad thing .

I also bought my sword from a anime store called Anime-niac and they didn’t tell me where it from but it’s identical to the one in this video. Also, my swords blade is bent from the guard and this makes it so the scabbard doesn’t sit right and it’s looser then it would normally be. Any help with these would be much appreciated :)

Actually high carbon has to do with density it has a higher density. I just got a nice rapier first real sword I'm happy with, I got a crap katana, if you got real battle ready katanas I might purchase one.
