Earpad replacement Sony WH-XB 900N Headphones (How to instructions)

- In this video we explain in step-by-step instructions how to replace the ear pads of the Sony Headphones WD-XB900N.
The process is relatively easy and does not require any tools.
Simply pull on the existing ear pads in order to remove the originals.
Check out the lip on the backside of the replacement ear pads and the small slot all around the ear cups.
First align the new ear pads correctly by looking for the seem, which should be pointing downwards.
Then slide the lip on the backside of the new earned into the slot at the super end of the ear cups. Now work your way around the ear cup. Eventually we will stretch the new ear pads in order for them to reach over the bottom ent of the ear cup.

You sir just saved my headphones. Other than the pads, I have zero regrets about buying these. They replaced a Logitech headset that completely failed after a year of only desk use. I'm on my third year with these Sonys and while they primarily are also only used at a desk, they also travel with me on occasion, and I've had no issues whatsoever with them except for the seam on the right pad pulled apart (it looks glued) about a month ago.
Best headphones indeed I had them for 1 year now I'm happy

This headphones are awesome! They just lack a lot of quality in strong sounds like guitar and metal songs ( such as Bad Omens - Blood ), but still working since 2021. I recently bought a really expensive Sony WH M5 and it is already making an undesirable noise on the right cup ear. The sound quality could be better for the price, some vocals feel kinda empty/low quality, but overall a nice upgrade.

It's a bit fiddly but you get there in the end, actually quite simple, a bit more fiddly than other headphones I have done but you don't have to pop off bits of plastic, way less chance of damage.😊
There is a ear pads made by soulwit, I think, they have cold gel in it. Pretty cool.
