lol I didn't say the whole Frontier set is shiny, I said the ceiling pieces. The spiked metal ones. :P I love the set. Also the ceiling pieces if it isn't in a hidden spot. But the light in Conan can also cheat sometimes (at least on ps4). When you see Frontier walls/foundations/etc from not so far away it just looks like a shadow and you can't see the individual pieces at all, but if you move further away the shadow suddenly dissapears and you can see the individual pieces clearly. Still a great building set, just something to be aware of. And I'm pretty sure spots where you have to bedroll in are considered meshing. They block them off sometimes, so I guess at least FC don't want people to use them. Imo they're not that bad, cos they're not that hard to find and you can often at least get some bombs in there.
That second one, if you use ceilings for the bottom, you can make a hidden storage area. Put a carpet over a hatch, or just break the celling and replace it. So, essentially, can have a two level base with a third just for storage.
@@EzyBTV Putting an elevator in a cave that has only two to three floors would make it rather obvious that something was there, I would think. The elevator is over one block high, so part of it would stick up past the floor. Also, the portion that would be in the storage area might make it difficult to use the crawlspace under the floor as storage. I suppose it could be possible.
Love to see a video on building-out the “Under ice storage cave”. For those of you who don’t know about this one, you should. I’ll leave it EZB to disclose the location, if he hasn’t already.
From the black keep frozen bridge, walk east along the north shore of the frozen lake until you get to the frozen peaks on the lake shore. Dive down under the ice. The cave is fully buildable and its big. Got like at least a hundred chests in it when I had it built-out. Small entrance the the cave but opens up big inside. It goes up under the shoreline so it’s crazy hard to raid, if you fence stacking the hell out of the entrance under the ice. Gotta have a Riptide for this one. You’ll die a lot building it.
That base inside the tree it's not avaiable anymore, it kills you when you get into the tree due to the recent anti-undermesh patches. But the rest are awesome options :D nice vid bro
Lol this is the dumbest thing I ever heard.. Don't get me wrong, I think it's great they're putting this "green wall mechanic" under the mesh, but this is something they manually do in known spots, it's not not just because you are under the mesh. So instead of just blocking the hole with a rock, they chose to turn this spot in to a death trap for random people who see the hole and get curious.. Just lol. Also kinda amazing they had this mechanic since launch (green wall) (I'm pretty sure the green wall is also hand drawn zones because if you go admin and tp behind the wall and run back towards it, in some places you can get within 10-20 meters before you die and in other places you die a map square away) yet it took them those long to realize they could just just copy/paste the mechanic and change the "kill message"

@@EzyBTV well it is great that they implemented undermesh kill zones. And more spots will be fixed.. Who knows, maybe in 10-20 years they are all gone lol. It's just a really lazy fix for that specific spot

You beter show me how to do a proper base on each of these lol cuz i wana try allot of em. Also my rule of thumb too decide if something is meshing is looking if the enemy can get it. If they can crawl or walk in if they have enough bombs/raiding materials then it aint meshing but if they cant and have to use a chair or something to get through a hole then its meshing cuz you can just take the chair away and be unraidable and thats cheap lets be real
Every spot in the top 10 is actually on my channel already, crazy I know right and Yhh definitely I agree with you on that meshing is literally if you have to force your self somewhere your not aloud to be
For example let’s say there’s a statue in the desert and you manage to get inside it when there’s no way to get inside (basically cheating) your safe from being raided or found as technically your not in the map as you will be under it or inside a rock

Little trick, if your trying to hide a hatch, put an elevator there on top only access is by calling it up then slipping through the floor
