Highlights from Cheslin Kolbe's first game at 10 Toulouse. He has a couple of very good touches as well as a conversion from the touchline and a 48m penalty. 16/02/2020
Graham roux sad to think it and now he is one of the best, I mean to shift from wing/fullback to Fly-Half and manage a tough game against Racing 92, its phenominal👌🏻
Cheslin Kolbe being picked at 10 is about a pack of cigarettes and an existential movie away from being the most French thing you'll ever see. The hilarious part is, he's actually a pretty good 10 by the looks of things
Such a versatile player, so much flair in his game and at the same time so effective in defense. His size is not well suited to elite rugby and yet he so often manages to use it as an advantage. Some say Barrett is the best, some say Itoje, Radradra, Dupont, but Kolbe is well and truly among them.
@@leeroydeorgo9988 nah man, Jantjies only has 37 caps since his debut for a reason, Pollard, Steyn and Lambie were all a lot better. If Lambie had not been out so early due to injury, he might still have been the incumbent flyhalf Doesn't mean he's bad, he's just not on their level
Lee11 open - it was only U21 grade club rugby but in my team/league most of us front rowers were 110-130 kgs, but our winger was always saying he was a prop - he got his chance one game and had technique for days! Giving away literally 60-70kgs meant he never pushed forward but I never saw him driven backwards or under pressure
At a pinch- like the context was here- sure. Still prefer him with more space though and at the end of the ball like at 14 or maybe 15. I'd really like to see the likes of Fassi and Gelant (both at 15) and Nkosi at 14 get more chances playing for the Bokke but no reason why we can't have depth in those positions. Those players will get their shots.
I am toulousain, Cheslin played as fly-half on this match because Toulouse didn't have any other option, all the fly-half can't play ! Ntamack, Ramos and Dupont were in french team and Holmes was suspended. PS : sorry for my prehistoric english.
Impressive for a first start at 10. And the goal kicking tho👌👌👌 this guy is in the making of a true legend of the game
He has played fly half and many other positions before.
He already ia
He can goal kick?!?!!!! There we have it, he can officially do it all !! 🐐
this man can do anything
played 10 at school and was a Grant Komo u16 flyhalf for WP in 2009
To think, they denied him a bok debut for years because of he's size.

It was not "They" it was Heyneke Meyer who denied him.
I was denied a gf because my size... you just have to keep believing!!
What a player!

Brilliant. Haha
Impressive performance, kicking game on steroids but the fact remains; he's a natural Finisher not a play maker!
Hes an all rounder
keabetswe nthoiwa he grew up playing at 10 apparently... Maybe even prefers it except he's one of the best finishers in the game
how is he not a playmaker

If Handrè Pollard is injured the springboks now have another option.
Elton Jantjies 😂
Where elton janties🤔😂😂🤔🤔
Yes and his name is damian willemse
People don't talk shit
You're racist if you think Pollard is better than Jantjies

They're building the whole team around him - :)
He can also play 10? And kick?
Awesome Uso, love watching your games.
he should play ten in less important matches to improve his play making but he shouldnt be forced to play ten in hard fought matches
Getting thrown into the deep end is the best way to learn because you have you get good fast
@@brennybi i know but if he dosent immediatly adapt you dont loose the match... a normal side would do it against agen not racing haha

Where can i see the entire match??
I thought kolbe was a winger
He is
Not bad at all...He played well at 10
il est hallucinant ce joueur! Il va venir colmater la 3eme ligne un de ces jours ahaha
Il a déjà joué quelques minutes en 8, notamment en mêlée

Let’s be real cheslin is highly average if there’s 15 of him on the field
He should play a winger not that position
I'm sure his coach knows what he's doing. Trying it out for a game doesnt hurt anyone
with the injuries and the 6 nations, Toulouse was short on flyhalves....
He was playing fly-half due to player injuries and 6 Nations call ups

What’s that background music
Kolbe kicks too???
Yhea
It’s crazy because is so tiny compared to most rugby players yet he makes them look like amateurs 😂
I hate so say it but apart from his very good goal kicking he has no future has a fly half.
No likes
