Thank you, coach. I practice 2-3 hours a day. I started taking golf 18 months ago after my retirement at 76 years old. Your lessons have been extremely helpful. I enjoy golf now and have been playing at many Southern California golf courses. Keep up your good coaching.
Another well explained but easy to comprehend club release.i won't get tired watching over and over again until i obtain the proper sequence.very bright teacher.
This was an excellent video . . thank you. Played today and hit 13/18 greens in regulation. Contact was much better and dispersion was much improved. Thanks again. :)
Michele, thank you so much for demonstrating and explaining Drill 2 90-90. Now, I clearly see a understand that my hands where high above the club head upon release and this was the cause of my hitting weak shots and losing valuable distance.
Hi Michele, Thanks again for returning to coaching and providing excellent videos. I was watching the video this morning and suddenly realized how annoying the bird cawing in the background was to me. I know that is out of your control. LOL. Loved the video. I am still struggling with contact point, proper take away and consistency. Unfortunately, I practice on mats and believe they give you a false impression your striking the ball. I am also struggling with internet info overload. Too much conflicting information on the swing. That is why I love your videos. They're informative and well done in a simplistic manner, meaning you're a great teacher. Thank you.
quality video as always. lesson wise you have become the only TH-camr i still watch. always informative and to the point. thanks and please keep it up.
This is one of the dumbest golf-related sentences that I've ever read. Advice is not good or bad because you are a "golf instructor" or not.You could easily be and here are just another dumb "golf instructor" giving out bad advice.
Thanks perfect timing for me. I feel like I am close to losing my dreaded over the top, casting chicken wing slices. Well my practice swings look good, but my brain kept going back to the old bad swing, due to poor ball striking with the new swing i have been working on. What saved my bacon was your brilliant tip on wrist supination to square the club face. I had a swing this afternoon, just half swings and i have confidence I’m on the right track. I will do all these drills coach Michelle :) you have some of the best tips on youtube..trust me i have seen them all. Can’t wait try out the 90-90.
Thanks Michele, GREAT LESSON! very helpful to me and I’m sure many others. I have a tendency, putting it mildly, to hang on too long and rotate fast and hard. Release comes too late, especially with the longer clubs. Your instruction reminds me of Jim Flick and Mike Malaska’s ”L to L Drill” which emphasizes the importance of release. Please keep your channel active. We need more really good, no nonsense golf instruction such as yours. Riccardo from Chicago
Many thanks for you videos they are concise and to the point. The biggest problem I have as an overweight 6Ft 2" old man is trying to stop my "power up" I keep telling myself, how often I have played a layup shot because there was a group in front ;-) My shot usually goes a lot further and I have to apologise to the people in front. I have a fantastic "practice swing" ;-)) My ball retriever needs a new grip installed.... again ;-)
Hi Michele, Nice to see you back, congratulation on the birth of your son👏 Miss you a lot😃 Thanks for the drill on how to release the wrist in order to hit the ball further. I would like to ask whether I also need to push my pelvis toward target at the same time when I hit the down swing ?
Thanks Michele. I'm getting much more distance doing this and I'm not leaving the ball out right. It's like you were watching my swing and ran out and made this video just for me 😅
Thanks Michele for this video. I always like your videos which are really very simple but loaded with information! How is your kid? I hope you all are doing good 👍
Excellent explanation of the swing mechanics and great exercise to practice the mechanics. If done correctly you should have a consistent arc of travel. Now just get the ball to fly and not woof it or dig trenches !!!
Thanks Michele, great to see back coaching again.. been struggling with the release all my golfing life; I totally get it and do it on the range with better strike and ball flight. Then I go out to play and do exactly what I have always done, fat shots, thin and yesterday even topped a few. Wish I could play like I practice? 🥺
Understand completely. I was practicing the other day at the range and hitting an 8-iron 160 yards. On the course. I struggle hitting it 135 yards sometimes. So frustrating.
When you golf, you don't hit a 5 iron (for example) 15 times in a row. Start treating your driving range sessions like a golf course. Hit one shot with your driver, then hit a 3 wood, then a 9 iron. That could represent your typical par 5 hole. Next you can hit a driver, then 7 iron or 8 iron. That could be a par 4. You see what I'm getting at. Practice just like you would golf and your practice will help you a lot more.
Thanks Michelle, very good tips that improve swing speed. I've got a question - why I hit the ball to the left 3 plus degrees most of the times? Many thanks! Raymond
Michele, Thanks for all the great tips! I have the problem my practice swings look great but when I place the little ball down nothing seems to go right. Any tips on how to get over it?
Thank the heavens...I have finally found my teacher/coach 🎉🎉🎉
Michelle. I review this video every month to ensure I remember and practice a good release. Thanks so much for your great video lessons.

Thank you very much for your help!!! That advice is what I ask you for some months ago!!!
Thanks Michele for the simple and clear instructions. I will watch over and over and perfect my swing.
Another well explained but easy to comprehend club release.i won't get tired watching over and over again until i obtain the proper sequence.very bright teacher.

As a golf instructor myself and having a student who does not release the club this lesson is solid gold!

great drills, have enough space at home to practice
It’s what I really need to know about the release I will work on it thanks
Great video. Thanks for the information.
Good video with valuable information.
Such a good teacher...and player
Great video you explain everything so well. Thanks

Very good coaching to correct my benderd left arm. Thanks Michelle 😃
Good lesson. Thank you very much.
💯 agree with what you advocated here.
Cool…thanks Michelle
You are a wonderful great coach. Hope you get bad on tour and knot it win. Such a nice lady.😊
Perfect timing. Was having so many issues with this yesterday. Thank you!
Great video again, thanks!
A valuable input not mentioned is grip pressure. Club head release requires the lightest of grips.
Yes, lightest of grip particularly trail hand absolutely crucial. Thanks
Great video as usual !
I like your release technique.
Great video tips
Hi Michele,
Nice to see you back,
congratulation on the birth of your son👏

Great video.
Great drills, I do the 2nd drill a lot. I really like the last one. I am going to go try that drill right now.
Thanks Michele
You are so welcome
Thanks Michele. I'm getting much more distance doing this and I'm not leaving the ball out right. It's like you were watching my swing and ran out and made this video just for me 😅
Absolutely Brilliant Usual
Nice one, like the idea of point 3 👍
Thank you Michele for another very effective set of drills/instructions. My question: What causes Early Release - most common mistake? Thanks Pro
Brilliant!
Thanks!
Thanks Michele for this video. I always like your videos which are really very simple but loaded with information! How is your kid? I hope you all are doing good 👍
❤❤❤❤❤ Thanks you!
Need a video on driver release. Especially how to get good timing on it.
Great drills
It was a good lesson. You have to show by hitting balls as well.
Excellent explanation of the swing mechanics and great exercise to practice the mechanics. If done correctly you should have a consistent arc of travel. Now just get the ball to fly and not woof it or dig trenches !!!

Thx , god bless
Great drills esp drill 2
Good, thanks 🇲🇨
Michele, Thanks for all the great tips! I have the problem my practice swings look great but when I place the little ball down nothing seems to go right. Any tips on how to get over it?
Good lesson on release. May I ask when should the shoulder start to turn to push the arms upon downswing?
the crows do recall my time in KL.
No one talks about role of left arm vs in right arm which is more dominant on golf during release?
...that's why you don't mix wrist-flips ("releases") and hazards. Steady the lag and hit the ball clean.
I'm sorry, my hands where above the club head at post impact.
Have difficulty to stable my left leg... any tips/exercise to assist please
Most amateurs try to swing too fast! Use gravity on the downswing and focus on making contact, not muscle the club!
