I’ve watched many golf videos and this is the most detailed while being easy to understand at the same time. And all without any fluff or a clickbait title. Such a great teacher. I liked and subscribed immediately.
Hi Michele, came across your training video on outside/in swing path and it is probably one of the best, most straight-forward instruction (with actual simple steps to address the fix) I have seen on TH-cam. Really appreciate you putting this together! Thanks!!
you took the words out of my mouth (keyboard), It's not often I comment on videos, but I couldn't agree more. This was so well explained, easy to follow, and some easy tips to implement.
Ive actually watched approximately 50-70 different videos trying to understand why I am swinging out to in and this is THE BEST one Ive found. Not actually cured me yet but so well put together and given me much to try at range
Thank you Michele, you're a gifted teacher as well as golfer!! I had a couple of lessons and your instructions are best of all! Most vivid and clear. I download your vids and use them on the range to help guide me. Best Golf Teacher Ever!! ❤
Thank you Michelle! One thing you mentioned in a previous video, but not this one, is bowing the left wrist during the takeaway and keeping it bowed through impact. You called it the reverse motorcycle throttle. Doing this not only helped me hit straighter, but for some reason it also has helped my body remain in the correct position for that inside-out swing path.
Yes, I have been slicing and I suspected that I was doing outside in. My right food has been a little forward trying to correct the direction from right to left. Your explanation is so clear, I could not wait to go to the range to try. Thank you!
Your explanation was so easy to understand the and the visuals were on point. It made a lot of sense to me. I've watched a lot of guys who know what they are talking about but don't really explain it in detail well enough. They go into it a bit and expect you to figure out the rest but you broke it down very well. I see now that I'm a very strong 2 to 8 swinger and a "Hit it & Hope" kind of guy. I'm definitely going to try this at the range and really just practice what you said with taking the swing slow and trying to aim for 4 to 10 until it feels more natural. I also cup the hell out of my wrists which I really need to stop doing. This makes a lot of sense as to why I'm slicing so much. Thank you for the in depth tutorial on what it is I'm doing wrong!
Excellent, this is the best explanation the I have ever heard or seen for the cause and fix for this common problem. You have put it so simple that I can instantly see where the inconsistancy comes into my game. Thanks, Michele, I I will be sharing the link.
Hi from Tim, just like to say thanks for a great video. I have incorporated your suggestions into all of my game and it has improved my accuracy and distance. Your ability to impart your knowledge and provide sound advice is commendable. Thank you Tim from Melbourne Australia.
For all the years I enjoyed TH-cam I have never ever left any comments and probably never will but I have to make an exception for this one. Simply the best video on this subject with plain speak, relatable, easy to understand instructions end to end, which demonstrates how well you understand swing mechanics. Well done and thank you for sharing. I have already subscribed to your channel. Keep up the great work please
I am more of a analytical person. Someone needs to tell me why something is happening then I can visualize a fix. You did a great job of explaining the different reasons why I come over the top. You’re obviously a great teacher and I will be waiting and watching more of your videos, Thanks.
Great tutorial Michelle..have also gone back and forth to your clips whenever I'm in the rough, so to speak...and then back on course. Thanks for the tips🤓🙏
I've watched more than my fair share of slice fix videos, and this is BY FAR the best one i've seen. Why? Because she doesn't try to blind you with science at any point in the whole explanation. Really basic and really effective. Thank you ❤
When I first started playing I sliced every drive, now years later I found the slicy’s again today! I always hit the ball fairly straight, but I’m taking your lesson to the range tomorrow! Thanks
Great video. Thank you. My problem was alignment (left shoulder aiming to the left and right foot too much forward) and thanks to your advices, problem solved in a couple of seconds. Amazing. Thank you very much.
Learnt a lot i think very nice detail and kudos to the videographer nicely done love the slow motion illustration at the end tried the same way you did, i repeated the same about 20 times kinda ache anyway i ordered my new clubs from Costco .........
Hi Michele, Its been a while since I've watched one of your videos. I temporarily forgot what an excellent teacher you are and perfectly you explain the golf swing. I've had instances where I have pulled a golf shot left or severely hooked it left. I always assumed it to be pulling my body around too quickly and hitting it in that direction. Never, had I considered it to be possibly an over-the-top swing instead. As always, thanks again. Keep up the excellent instructions.
The cupped wrist is really dependent on how you grip the club. A very strong grip NEEDS a cupped wrist at the top. Enjoyed the video very much. Great reminder for me to stay under the plane.
Set up and swing path makes all the difference in the world , i stop a bit short of your top position because i will lose the straight left arm. When i try to do full swing at top of back swing i dont hit it as good,, im actually longer by keeping my left arm straight and having a much better smash factor and also hold my lag with better acceleration through the ball.
Top tier coaching. Well said and good visuals. I tend to hold on to my hip when I try to swing slower - don't quite have full control of the swing yet :/
This fault has plagued my game since day 1 and often caused me to quit for long periods, even years. It tends to creep in when I get tired on the course or in extremes of hot or cold weather. - Many thanks Michele for a great video once again, I simply set up a little more closed now with right foot slightly back and wow, no more pulled shots - Amazing.!
6:25-7:07 was what it was for me! I had great tee shots using this yesterday and went -1 on the back 9. We are going to save and recommend this video to many others, as well as your channel. Thanks Michele!
Some great tips that I will certainly use to fix my slice. Can you explain a bit more about the transition into the down swing and how to get your club on plane? (or is there a link you can recommend) Thx Michele
It took me years to sort my slice. For a time I labelled myself a slicer as if it was something I was stuck with. I think if I had you as my coach, I would correct bad swing plane much sooner.
Thank you, Michele, for your very helpful videos. You are a good instructor. I'm traveling to Asia for 7 months to golf. Do you offer in person lessons at a club there in Malaysia?
Best teacher ever 🩷
Your explanation is so clean. Especially the 4 to 10 clock is mind opening. Subscribed👍

Doing a lot of these. You do an excellent job at describing the actual technique.
