Drugstore June has grown on me so much. The first watch I was so so on it and somehow it has grown into a comfort watch for me. I love it. Esther and Bobby Lee are so great together.
The restaurant/casino thing: If the hotel/casino OWNS and OPERATES the restaurant, they manage the books. Roy Choy probably pays rent to the hotel for the space. Like Rick said it is harmonious marketing! Hotels/Casinos can rent out their space, but sometimes like Esther said they can just buy the name/franchise and manage the people and control the operation . I believe in this scenario with Roy Choy probably manages his own place, but rents the space in the casino; so if the meal was comped, it was probably out of Roy's pockets. Love the podcast!

I saw how much pain she went through and I just kept thinking “I must never cause her any heart ache or pain” and being able to cut the umbilical cord and making that skin to skin contact just really put me into dad mode and made it all so real. Bc as guys pregnancy doesn’t feel real until that baby comes out.

OMG the chemistry between Esther & Khalyla has been FIRE over the last 4 episodes! I think that this underlying flow/tone/vibe of convo and style has been developing since Ep.1 between the two of them BUT wasnt able to really flourish since each topic would be interrupted mid-sentence or change/derailed constantly before the big change. im back rockin with the Slugs and REALLY enjoying this era! 🔥
