I worked in a bakery in a rural town in Wisconsin in the 1980s. We used to get these gigantic blocks of baking chocolate with the phrase "Food of the Gods" molded into them. I worked in this bakery while Dahmer was working at Ambrosia Chocolate.
Intuition is a crazy phenomenon. Annie talking about the girl who missed school when Columbine happened. I was in 8th grade and walk to school which is like a couple blocks then have to cross through a field/park to get there and this one morning and I'm glad my mom listened I just told her I wasn't feeling well, not ill just didn't feel right and didn't want to go to school that day ..later on in the news there was a report of a man who hung himself in a tree on the exact path that I walk down to get to school. So if I had crossed that path to go to school that morning I would have been witness to it. I feel like whoever did was probably on their way to the high school beside my middle school ..
Also, I met my husband overlapping with my ex. I met him and it was over. Just like Pete. I knew he was the one. Things happen for a reason, just embrace life as it comes. Follow your instinct and follow the love. Life really is stranger than fiction.

I think the best case for giving yourself some time between relationships is: if you’re admittedly afraid of being alone, what red flags are you going to ignore to pursue a relationship because you actually just want the position fillled? And I hate the term red flags…. But, you get the idea. Secondly, sometimes the grieving process can be bi polar in nature. Like, yes, you may be “fine” about how things are left with someone. After a break up. But, there’s still the reality that something is gone from your life. Maybe not the entire person, but what they represented. Maybe you’ll mourn the time you “lost”. For women, that can be a very real thing because we are on a strict bio clock. Maybe you’ll mourn the person you were when you first entered the relationship. It’s kind of nice to let things settle into place before bringing a very dynamic component into your space. ❤❤❤
I think annie's story about "the ghostship that sailed" (?) not sure if I got that right lol but he advice letter/book that came from is Dear Sugar by Cheryl Strayed. it got me through some things, worth reading! love u slugies
