This kinda does it for me. I mean, I'm vehemently against the idea of a torso twisting quad; their quirky sidestep and prone rules make up for the lack of torso twist. A solid looking machine that I wish had more variants.
I think we've got to admire the design flair o Corean here. No-one else in the sphere is putting flash hiders/recoil accelerators on their ER and pulse medium lasers. Just because it has no function doesn't mean it doesn't give unique Buck Rogers vibe. And check out those rectangular flash suppressors on the AC10s! Just because you're throwing boring old shells at the enemy doesn't mean you can't zhush it up to look like the earth caste have built you a pair of railguns.
I am oddly looking forward to TRO 3085 in a long while. I've recently been using the Fensalir, and cant wait to hear someone actually talk about a WiGE. Theyre weird, but highly fun, especially this one for player fun. 80 tons, Timberwolf level armor, a HGR, 2 ERML, and 2 MML 7s, while in practice being faster than a cavalry mech makes it a dangerous proposition. Just don't sideslip.
The current owners of the title product have reached the point of adding thing in the next decade based on " This sounds so COOL ' . With little concept of lore bse progression .
Most would suggest lostech magic no doubt. But in all seriousness, who knows how the ammo moves around inside some 'mechs without getting lodged in a joint or something equally tight spaced and moving.
I kinda like the jankiness of Battletech quads. I like the idea of them eventually giving way to Tripod's being the optimal, but most expensive design.
Please don't forget about the pilot's espresso machine in the cockpit.

Just imagine this one going up against an AT-AT
AT-AT would be dead. If they can't stop a mag harpoon an artillery shell will go right through.
*Star Wars Imperial March plays in the background*
Thanks for continuing these videos. I love the story development you add too
Glad you like them :)
Almost reminds me of an AT-AT.....LOL 😂
"God, I'm a giant rectangle with legs." I died laughing.
I was already dying at "Sir! Torpedo hit starboard amidships"
Its easy for mechs to go to a stupid place as a concept. Gun knees is the threshold into that place.

The irony of the name tickles me just right. A sirroco is a hot, *fast* desert wind. This thing might get hot, but she ain't fast.
Well, being this big it becoming a hot wind might be due to the amount of artillery it will draw LOL
Corean marketing department doing it's job
Looks like a tank. Runs like a tank. Steers like a cow. 😂
I don't know, it seems like a lot of bull to me LOL
"They don't even make these anymore."

Liked for the commentary of the cockpit...!
I picture the Sirrocco as having a 3-seater AT-AT cockpit. Either that or a full-head ejection system that turns into a house. 😜
BattleTech AT-AT?
I seem to be piling on to a common theme, but I, too, see an AT-AT when I look at the Sirocco.
According to Sarna it's spelled "Sirocco".
Fixed :)

Buck Rogers inspired Battlemechs is actually a pretty cool idea in that retro sci-fi way :)
Thanks rocket😂🚀
TURN, SIROCCO!!!!!!
Full ahead Mr. Stibbons. Bring main batteries to port and give me a firing solution!

Its a walking anvil.
Moves like a cow and moos like a gecko. Nightmare fuel quad mech. I need to stop smoking phantom cigars...
Okay, now I want to know if this mech is setup with nautical terms and phrases in mind.
Only the helmsman is wearing a neurohelmet, the captain is wearing a dark blaze with piping. LOL
Video request, how about an episode on the Akuma BattleMech?
It will be done down the line since I am doing each TRO as they go chronologically.

Thank goodness they didn't do anything stupid like trying to make it go 4/6.
How in the hell does the ammo get from the rear leg to the front of the machine????
Most would suggest lostech magic no doubt. But in all seriousness, who knows how the ammo moves around inside some 'mechs without getting lodged in a joint or something equally tight spaced and moving.
@@CriticalRocket Or worse, getting jammed and then cooking off.
this quad just looks like a shipping container on legs.
I like some quads, but this one is just... eh
As much as I love Battletech, quads are something Heavy Gear does much better.
