Two days ago, my friend Anna and I embarked on a big adventure: An 8 Day tour through the highest region on Earth, The Tibet Autonomous Region. It was such a treat to experience the beautiful culture, wondrous sights, and genuinely kind people of Tibet! If you are able to visit, I highly recommend adding Tibet to your travel list. It was incredible!
PART 2 shows our travels from Lhasa to Shigatse, the second largest city in Tibet, as well as the start of our drive towards the highlight stop of our trip: Mount Everest Base Camp. We saw some stunning sights along the way and the beauty of the nature surrounding us was truly exquisite. During our 8 hour drive, I looked out the window for nearly the entire time and was captivated by the variety of changing scenery along the way!

That lake is absolutely gorgeous, the water is so blue! China has such diverse and beautiful landscape. Thanks for shooting the sceneries with a high quality camera. Allison, will you be traveling to Xinjiang by chance? And Happy Halloween ladies!

You not only have excellent equipment to capture the picturesque scenery, you have an excellent eye for composition of the shots as evidenced by all the comments. Keep it up and it is definitely a field you should explore. Another Henri Cartier Bresson in the making, only this time a female one. Or a female Ansel Adams?

Clean. There are so many beautiful places in Tibet. A good trip.
Yah I used to stare at the clouds for hours, all the way from Lhasa to Mt. Kailash. Cleanse my mind and let go everything... until pulmonary edema caused by altitude finally got me. The crazy overnight cab drive to Lhasa hospital was totally different experience though, I stared at a whole lot of glittering galaxy.

Hope you can have a video in Shanxi where the Song and Ming Dynasty have reigned with their ancient architecture ....Also if you can try going to their Hanfu parade where their Han chinese have their parade with their beautiful and elegant Hanfu costume
