Why do people feel the need to apologize on behalf of other people? I’m a man, I don’t feel responsible. It’s not my responsibility to try make other people be decent human beings. My responsibility is to be a decent human being, raise my children to be decent human beings, and to help others when and if I can. You can’t make bad people be good. Sex, race, sexuality, religion all of this doesn’t matter. Just raise your kids to be good people, do your best to be a good person. But don’t blame yourself because of decisions and actions other people make. Even if it’s your immediate family that did something awful, it’s not your responsibility to carry their sin and pay and apologize for their actions. Just live your life being you, live for you but respect all those that live around you.
