I was just saying that , what really is happening is that the media screwed this up by covering it way to close while "filling in the blanks" and getting them wrong and making them look bad. I mean has he was being reported as being a JETs being a done deal you then had sports media across the board saying he should have stayed a Packer............... But then before that they were saying how it's time to move and such and just maybe , Rodgers is having to make these type of choices that will effect his life in a big way and he is trying his best to make the best call for him. Early in his career the media was running wild with the "Aaron Rodgers is gay" narrative, then they tricked his family into talking trash about his girlfriend(Olivia Munn I think), and that was the start of his disgust and standoffish attitude of the media, unless it's someone he knows. As with anything, the media always have their "unnamed sources", which means they made it up.

I mean, Jets nearly made the playoffs with Zach "The MILFMAN" at QB! Jets have a really really good Defense and some good/ potentially great receivers. They just need to sort the O-Line. Rodgers is doing exactly what he's supposed to be doing; exercising leverage. When a team does something questionable people love to say "well it's a business". Rodgers currently has rights to demands (very few players do). Colin's just mad Rodgers won't talk to him or other media the way he talks to McAfee. As a New Yorker I'll be going to my first Jet game if Rodgers is in black n Green.
The Jets are incompetently run. They telegraphed desperation to trade for Rodgers and by doing so given a player control of their off season. Even if they do trade for AR, they have emasculated themselves. Who will have more clout in the locker room, first year on team AR or the Head Coach? What if he doesn’t go to OTAs? The Jets may be OK with this, but will new teammates? The NY press will absolutely crush AR for his aloofness while comparing to the team guy the Giants have. If the Jets are smart, they will make an offer for Lamar Jackson and move off their Rodgers obsession. You’d think the Jets, being in New York, would have learned from the Brooklyn Nets the perils of turning your team over to players to run.
