I retired from a very large paint manufacturer and the announcement of the color of the year was extremely anticipated. My wedding was in 1978 & my wedding colors were brown & peach….. what goes around comes around! Peach makes me look like a cadaver!
As a Dark Winter, Peach colour is one of my "arch enemies" when it's associated with me, I look like a larvae (not even a healthy one) in it 😆 BUT I'm happy for the people who are happy with it. Anyway, I hope "Find your own colours" / colour analysis in general will become a much bigger trend than "Colour of the year" 🙌
Does anybody else remember how this was the interior colour of homes in the 90's? Curtains, beddings and tiles in the bathrooms was all peach hahaha. It was terrible for me then but I'm open to it being the colour of the year
I was going to say this! I remember I had a comforter this color and it matched with a picture of a sailboat that also included this color. I also had outfits this color (and I am a cool summer)! It does bring a sense of tenderness and nurturing to my mind when I think of it mainly because of the memories I have around it. :)
I found winters are very often drawn to this colour. Especially males - at least where I live. 😀Maybe because a lot of pastel or icy colours work great for winters, they think light peach would belong to this category. Nope. And yes, big jaundice alert.
I generally just don't like this color haha. I'd love to hear you two talk about glasses and other 'permanent accessories' and how to choose. And also using our colors in home decor and your opinions. Love your channel!
I'm a true spring and I love this colour. In clothes and as well in eye shadows. It really makes my blue eyes pop. Where I live, spring colours in clothing are rarer, so maybe I will be lucky to find something I can add to my wardrobe. Thanks for the fun video. 🍑🧡
Hi from Montreal, Canada. Not a fan of this colour for myself, being a Summer. It is lovely for warm seasons- enjoy! Really appreciate your central message to avoid blindly following colour trends.
That was my (Winter) immediate thought too - "There's always next year. We had a great run in 2023 though!" 😉But it's a pretty color. As a teen, I had a cool bedroom (decorated around an art festival numbered print) with peach walls, light minty green carpet, and navy futons. My friends and I loved it. It really did have a calm, gentle vibe to it - despite how awfully yellow I must've looked while sitting in it. 🤣
That's the colour of a blouse I mistakenly bought few years ago ... I am now quite sure I am some kind of winter and I look awful in it, sallow and tired. In my defense back then I hadn't even heard of colour analysis, now i know better lol!!!
As a summer light I instantly thought this was an absolute no for me, but I have worn this colour loads in my makeup previously! It works really well well for me as eyeshadow and in small details, but I can’t really wear it in large portions.
Same here! Although I am a soft summer. Can get away with peachy tones in eyeshadow as it makes my blue eyes pop and doesn't look weird when I tie it in with pinks and rosy tones.
I'm a Bright Winter and I wore this Color in the 90's. I like this Color, but I look very pale and my Skincolor changed from normal to greyish Yello dirty. ❤ I like your Channel. I don't follow Trends. Best Wishes from Germany.
I look better in cooler tones nowadays, but this peachy colour once was very much on trend in the early 80s and I had a jumper in that colour, but I remember I didn't reach for it often. I never bought anything in that colour again. It's apparently a colour that I never liked to wear.
I am so excited. I was analyzed as a Spring using the House of Colour system. It was a 100% color for me. I have greenish blue eyes and copper blonde hair. When I wear peach my eyes really pop. I am hoping to find some new pieces in this color to wear throughout the year.
As a spring light I warmly welcome this peach color! :) What was a bit surprising for me in this video was that one color could suit people with such different characteristics - from spring bright to autumn soft. Given that it's maybe not their best colour but would still work. Maybe this is noy the case with all colours..?
My husband has always had Pantone colour swatch cards. He’s used them his whole working life, more than 40 years. I find them useful at times too, even tho I doctors with them. I’m always interested in the colour of the year because I know there will be a lot of it in the shops. I wouldn’t buy anything in peach fuzz for my clothing but it’s good for adding to decor. That blouse you are wearing Ali is gorgeous on you.
Bright spring here and I LOVE peach and especially this peach which is not too light. It is one of my neutrals and it pairs so well with all of my other Bright Spring colors. Another sign that this is going to be a great year! :)
The blue-purple (very peri) of 2022 was such a pretty color in my opinion. Don't like this year's peach color a lot but it's just a personal preference. The analysis was really interesting!
There is a whole palette of trending colors for New York fashion week and another for London fashion week not just Peach Fuzz. As a spring warm, peach fuzz totally works but for many of you it doesn't. Just choose from one of the others.
@@ildikoedit9110 you can of course but some do want to be fashion forward and my point is that there are options for cools, deeps and others not inclined to wear the peach with in the other trending colors
I always enjoy seeing what Pantone chooses and why they choose it. I rarely love the color they choose and it never affects what I buy. But as an artist it does cause me to contemplate a color I might have overlooked before. Peach is fun. It always reminds me of the 80s.
Thank you so much for the video. ❤ When I saw the color for the first time, I thought to myself (as cool winter): hmm, this probably won't end up in my wardrobe😂
There is a very dark green trending in the London Fashion Week Pantone trend report called "Bistro Green". It is sort of a cross between Lincoln Green and Pine Green. If you are an Autumn, wear your Lincoln Green and winters grab your pine. Both close enough to the trend to work. Other greens trending are a soft sage green (NYFW Pantone called it Watercress) and a avocado type green (LFW Pantone named it Taragon). Watercress would work for both Summer softs and Autumn softs while Taragon would work for Spring warms, and pretty much all Autumns.
Peach fuzz is a 🧡 perfect color for 2024 as we do need gentleness this year. However, so thankful you recently analyzed me as a soft summer, because I’d be wearing peach 🍑 immediately and looking a little yellow rather than radiant like my warmer sisters!! 😊
I won’t be using it in my wardrobe, or makeup, but it’s a beautiful color to look at. Maybe I’ll use more of it in my watercolor painting! 🍑 Thanks again for all of your help with my colors and with my mom as well! She has just blossomed!!
As a cool summer I can wear a little peach eyeshadow but to wear the any where else is a big big NO lol! I bought a light peach shirt a few years ago and then released that there was something seriously off, and I couldn't figure it out no mater how I'd did my makeup, it looked like it sucked all the life out of me. Retrospect now tells me it's because I have a cool undertone.
I think we’re all craving more colour! For a long time I felt like all I saw was black, grey, camel, and millennial pink or a warm, soft pink. Then that lilac purple came out and I was slightly happier because I can pull it off, but it’s still not my best colour. I wish stores would give you custom options when you buy clothes!
As a light spring I'm very glad. I hope shops will pair it with more light and warm colours, because sometimes they are really hard to find. (Please just let us (light) springs have this for once, haha).
I love peach fuzz colour. It is so warm, soft (in the sense of feeling not the intensity, if I had to compare it to a textile it will be velvet), cocooning, comforting. It is a colour that I adore because I feel lightness and tenderness when I look at it like a cloud when the sun sets. It is a mix of motherhood and childhood for me. Only positive emotions, no seriousness. I love it even more because I am in the spring family 🥰 it is one of my best colours I think.
I love you guys you are so Mediterranean energetic and you speak with the eyes, hands, so homey and relatable (being myself half Italian and Southern European 100%) ❤❤❤❤
Dark autumn but I think I can pull off peach fuzz, esp a more muted version. It looks harmonious on me when combined with a good dark color like an autumn brown for contrast
Loved this video! I always look forward to Pantone color of the year. I love the color..but it doesn't love me. I don't have any of this color in my clothing. I will definitely look forward to strong bright winter tones maybe for 2025!
Happy 2024! I'm personally disappointed that it's the year's color as I was expecting a green of some sort. HOWEVER, I will say this color brings me back to my childhood (pre-teen and teens) bedroom decor of that very same shade of peach. We combined it with a rich deep neutral/cool leaning green. It was pretty combo. I'm happy for Springs to have a pretty peach to look forward to for the year as it's sometimes tough for Springs to find their colors in clothing. That shade of peach does absolutely nothing for me haha!
I rarely write any comments on YT but I have to say that I absolutely love what you're doing! And both of you have so much positive energy that it's really hard to watch the videos and not smile :) Keep bringing more content. As a summer type I must say that I really am not a fan of Pantone's choice for this year and I'm gonna follow in Julia's footsteps and either stick to 2023 magenta or wait for 2025 :D
I hope to get something in this colour - I'm a spring - possibly true spring, I'm not sure, but definitely spring. And for the last few years there's been very little that isn't cool-toned. Peachy-pink is actually one of my best colours, so it's spring's time to shine!
Thank you - very well presented and explained. I am a bright spring and so will choose a more vibrant peach shade, but I do love that colour. It's often difficult for springs to find clothes in the right colours, so Peach Fuzz is very welcome. What a lovely channel you have created!
It is difficult for springs !! I feel like the other seasons have options through out the year, while springs mostly have options around annual spring time, when companies use more of those tones.
Thank you for explaining this to us. I love the color, and as a spring bright I have it in my palette. I have some items already in this color, but that was just a coincidence and they were bought before the analysis. It is easier to shop now when I know what colors to look for. I will definately look for items in this color. It is so much fun to shop when I know what colors to go for. I really recommend everyone to have an analysis done. ❤
As a warm autumn, I'm very happy with peach fuzz! Last year's viva magenta was not for me. Excited to try out some peach fuzz outfits or accessories. Happy New Year 2024!
Long before I ever heard of colour analysis, I found some clothes in peach/salmon that I really liked. But whenever I tried to wear them, they made me look odd - too light, too warm. Now I don't wear similar colours anymore though I still love looking at them.
You are such a great team ❤ Peach Fuzz gets a no from me. Not sure who makes up the names the names but I’d like that job, lol 😂 I had hoped with it being the year of the dragon (wood dragon?) the colour of the year might tie into that energy. Oh well I have my own colour palette and like to sew so no worries. I’ve noticed some softer cousins of Very Peri in the high street stores this summer (love) so I guess it will be a while before us peasants see peach coloured things. Happy for all the warmies to wear it if they like it. Can’t always be about me, lol 😂
As a summer it’s not my colour, but my mom has lots of it already! She’s a mixed type (autumn-winter) and tans easily in summer. This colour looks amazing on her tanned skin and her brown eyes ❤ I would definitely wear it if I had a warm undertone myself. It’s easy to combine with many other colours.
I loooooove it, I'm so happy its back, and I'd love to seeore of these, on what to do if there is a major trend that is not within your palette, how you can still look classy and up to date - I guess maybe its cuts and styles, but what if you cant find those that suit you in anything other than the trending colours?
This video was awesome! I'm bright spring and I love that colour when using makeup - but I'm quite bright, so I think it is a bit light for me, i would prefer a bit more intense colour
I won't be wearing peach fuzz as a dark summer. Instead i will be wearing chambray blue, primrose yellow, burgundy, lilac, lavender or grey which are also trending colours for 2024 and are in my palette.
Such an interesting explanation of the colour of the year. I was aware of it, but never knew what it was actually all about. As a winter, peach fuzz will be banned from entering my home 😂. I noticed you held Margot Robbie up as an example of spring. I’ve seen so many discussions on various platforms about whether she’s a summer or spring. She’s gorgeous and appears to be a bit of a chameleon.
In the 80's this color was paired with light blue, lavender , teal and adobe white for that Southwest look of the decade. 🤢 As a WInter I had an adverse reaction then as I do now.
I love your channel. Me, my sister and brother spent the christmas gathering trying our wardrobes colors, we had so much fun! This color was voted the worst for me! I wont use it. Still I like it very much, so for flowers and home accesories like candles and hand towels YES
Thank you for this video - I really enjoyed the discussion around Peach Fuzz. I really dislike this color so am looking forward to the 2025 color of the year. Oh well - that's the way it goes!
Thank you so much for the plenty of illustrations, I think I now understand the peach family better. I believe myself to be an autumn, but I don't think I have ever seen or will ever get a warm and muted greyish pink, so even a pink with white in it is very welcome.
Hello! I've been really enjoying the content you guys post, I've found it extremely interesting and helpful ❤ I was hoping in the future you might make a video abt which jeans colours fit the best each season? Jeans are something I struggle with.
Loved this video! Thank you for explaining it so nicely to us ☺ I think it's an absolutely beautiful color, but as a cool winter I won't be buying anything in peach🙈 I'll just stick to my cherry red & magenta instead! 😅
Last year Viva Magenta wasn't my color so I bought the color for my ear buds. I don't wear my ear buds as an outfit in public. There are ways to use trending colors without wearing them.
Actually Pantone pulls out the tends from what the designers are already doing and then the designers pull from them on the COTY. Mutually beneficial relationship. Pantone also has fantastic resources for the general public for your computer and color. Look them up on Google someday and look around.
Apparel makers all use this color, or similar, so that when people go shopping they can buy things that coordinate together. That presumes of course that you can wear that color!
First of all: a big thank you for your helpful videos! 🙏 Although being a winter, I really ❤ this colour and I think it's the perfect hue for 2024 ...! I will wear my (old, but precious) peach cashmere pullover, accompanied with an anthracite or navy scarf. 🤩
I love your content and explanations. I have a hard time decorating my home with magenta colors, even though I know I am in one of the Winter groups. However, I have always loved using "peach and blue" tones in my home, because it brings the outside colors of the sky (especially sunsets) into my home. Perhaps it is because I have a strong golden surface tone when I tan? I love the balance of warm and cool colors together, and I have gotten back to wearing my best colors closest to my face and any skin that may be exposed.
Does this color work for light summers? I’ve mostly been typed as that (not professionally) but I feel like I look most radiant in this peach color. I’m honestly convinced I’m a spring and people are lying to me lol
Happy New Year to you both! Great to see you back on, thanks for the great videos. I like peach fuzz, I'm a spring so look forward to buying something in it 😊
I always enjoy your videos! I just purchased my online colour analysis a week ago and I am so excited to hear my results! Let's see if I can wear peach fuzz :D
Anyway, I hope "Find your own colours" / colour analysis in general will become a much bigger trend than "Colour of the year" 🙌
Yes I agree 💯! Its far more important to find YOU .
@fencsakbetti Do you wear your version of iced pink instead?
Does anybody else remember how this was the interior colour of homes in the 90's? Curtains, beddings and tiles in the bathrooms was all peach hahaha. It was terrible for me then but I'm open to it being the colour of the year
I was going to say this! I remember I had a comforter this color and it matched with a picture of a sailboat that also included this color. I also had outfits this color (and I am a cool summer)! It does bring a sense of tenderness and nurturing to my mind when I think of it mainly because of the memories I have around it. :)
Yes, I remember. I even used some peach paint once but was never very happy with it & soon repainted.
I love that color! In my office supplies, and that's about it, I'm a winter... I tried on a peach dress once and I looked like I had jaundice.
😂😂😂😂 I am sure I would look the same!!
I found winters are very often drawn to this colour. Especially males - at least where I live. 😀Maybe because a lot of pastel or icy colours work great for winters, they think light peach would belong to this category. Nope. And yes, big jaundice alert.
Me too. I'm a Bright Winter.
I can relate to that 😊
Happy 2024! As for the color, I will eat peaches during the summer and that's it.
I generally just don't like this color haha. I'd love to hear you two talk about glasses and other 'permanent accessories' and how to choose. And also using our colors in home decor and your opinions. Love your channel!
As a cool summer this color is what nightmares are made of. Just having it against my arm and my skin gets this greenish-blueish tint.
You need to tan a lot, and be a brunette or have some golden highlights from the sun in the hair to pull it. But it is not impossible
I'm warm, but I wouldn't wear peach. It would make me look ill.
That's the colour of a blouse I mistakenly bought few years ago ... I am now quite sure I am some kind of winter and I look awful in it, sallow and tired. In my defense back then I hadn't even heard of colour analysis, now i know better lol!!!
A very happy spring here 😺❤
I’m a Cool Summer and I will only be wearing Peach fuzz in a nightmare 👻
😂🤣
Well you need to tan a lot and have a brown hair to pull it or some goldenish highlights from the sun
I think you can pull it but you need to be tanned and have some warmth from the sun in the hair
I'm a Bright Winter and I wore this Color in the 90's. I like this Color, but I look very pale and my Skincolor changed from normal to greyish Yello dirty. ❤
I like your Channel. I don't follow Trends. Best Wishes from Germany.
Let's hope 2024 is full of sweetness and a return to hope and innocence for everyone!
I look better in cooler tones nowadays, but this peachy colour once was very much on trend in the early 80s and I had a jumper in that colour, but I remember I didn't reach for it often. I never bought anything in that colour again. It's apparently a colour that I never liked to wear.

I love this color but as an autumn it feels too bright for me. I need a dusty version of it lol
Perfect timing. Last night I determined I might be a light spring.
As a cool winter, I'll stay far away from this tone 🤣 I miss the color of 2023 already, loved viva magenta.
Wow Alessandra your blouse is so beautiful and elegant.😊
The blue-purple (very peri) of 2022 was such a pretty color in my opinion. Don't like this year's peach color a lot but it's just a personal preference. The analysis was really interesting!
There is a whole palette of trending colors for New York fashion week and another for London fashion week not just Peach Fuzz. As a spring warm, peach fuzz totally works but for many of you it doesn't. Just choose from one of the others.
Or simply just ignore the trends and choose what's best for you personally
@@ildikoedit9110 you can of course but some do want to be fashion forward and my point is that there are options for cools, deeps and others not inclined to wear the peach with in the other trending colors

I wore peach in the 80's before I was aware I was a summer! It was a lovely outfit though.
I really like the color! I am a soft autumn ☺️
Years ago the Pantone Color was orchid and I hated it with all of my body 😂😂😂
Thank you so much for the video. ❤ When I saw the color for the first time, I thought to myself (as cool winter): hmm, this probably won't end up in my wardrobe😂
I love peach 🍑 subtle soft warmth lovely colour
peach was very trendy in makeup in terms of blush I feel like it should have been forest green for 2024 but oh weeeeeeelll
I can appreciate peach fuzz, but you won’t catch me wearing it ever. 😅 Love the graphics!
Peach fuzz is a 🧡 perfect color for 2024 as we do need gentleness this year. However, so thankful you recently analyzed me as a soft summer, because I’d be wearing peach 🍑 immediately and looking a little yellow rather than radiant like my warmer sisters!! 😊
I could listen to y’all talk for hours. Love your accents and kind personalities.
As a Spring, peach is one of my “wow” colors so I’m excited that there will be plenty of options for me to incorporate it into my outfits this year! ❤
I love this color and I am a Spring! I will definitely be adding more of this color to my wardrobe and home decor this year!
I'm super excited about this color. I'm Spring Warm and look forward to hopefully having more warm toned options out there!
I am very excited about this colour trickling into clothing as a spring I find my best, lighter shades really difficult to find in stores.
So glad have tome to watch these amazing vids again. Actually got me interested in fashion. ❤🎉
I won’t be using it in my wardrobe, or makeup, but it’s a beautiful color to look at. Maybe I’ll use more of it in my watercolor painting! 🍑
Thanks again for all of your help with my colors and with my mom as well! She has just blossomed!!

Missed you guys! Hope to see more videos this year!
As a light spring this colour is perfect for me.
Really love the new graphic package, font and usage are really elegant!
I have a light peach accent wall in my bedroom, which l love! I’m not mad at this colour of the year 😊
As a light spring I'm very glad.
Happy 2024! I'm personally disappointed that it's the year's color as I was expecting a green of some sort. That shade of peach does absolutely nothing for me haha!
Great point. I use all the colours that I love but are absolutely not in my season as home decor. This cool summer's home is full of earth tones.
Peach fuzz does look great with a warm green! I saw in another channel that peach & green are the "lucky" colors of this year.
I rarely write any comments on YT but I have to say that I absolutely love what you're doing! And both of you have so much positive energy that it's really hard to watch the videos and not smile :) Keep bringing more content. Peach was the colour of my bridesmaid's gowns back in 1971...what was I thinking! I'm a summer and it really looks terrible on me.
I hope to get something in this colour - I'm a spring - possibly true spring, I'm not sure, but definitely spring. And for the last few years there's been very little that isn't cool-toned. Peachy-pink is actually one of my best colours, so it's spring's time to shine!
I thought Elle Fanning was a Light Spring????
Warm Spring here....😊
Thank you - very well presented and explained. I am a bright spring and so will choose a more vibrant peach shade, but I do love that colour. It's often difficult for springs to find clothes in the right colours, so Peach Fuzz is very welcome. What a lovely channel you have created!

Great idea for a video! I would have liked if you had also given alternative colours for cool season s as well. Thank you!
Would love to see a video of you guys analyzing different celebrity red carpet styles, especially with awards season underway! ❤
YaY! You’re back!
Happy 2024
Long before I ever heard of colour analysis, I found some clothes in peach/salmon that I really liked. But whenever I tried to wear them, they made me look odd - too light, too warm. Now I don't wear similar colours anymore though I still love looking at them.

It’s a calm and happy color to me, but I cannot wear it as a Summer. Someone will take me to hospital thinking I have jaundice! 😂
I am a bright winter and this is probably my worst color 😄
I love it, I am spring and do wear it already yay
Is Viva Magenta on sale??? Yessss!
Love this color for my Autumn Soft palettte. Thank you for sharing :)
So cool 🍑 Love the colour as it is fresh and vibrant
Thank you for this video - I really enjoyed the discussion around Peach Fuzz. I really dislike this color so am looking forward to the 2025 color of the year. Oh well - that's the way it goes!
❤peach is for me
Thank you so much for the plenty of illustrations, I think I now understand the peach family better. I believe myself to be an autumn, but I don't think I have ever seen or will ever get a warm and muted greyish pink, so even a pink with white in it is very welcome.
Wow I was expecting definitely green or daffodil yellow which I think is lovely
Hello! I've been really enjoying the content you guys post, I've found it extremely interesting and helpful ❤
I was hoping in the future you might make a video abt which jeans colours fit the best each season? Jeans are something I struggle with.
I am ready for peach colours 😊. I have just purchased some peach blushes prepared for Spring and Sommer Seasons😊
Loved this video! Thank you for explaining it so nicely to us ☺ I think it's an absolutely beautiful color, but as a cool winter I won't be buying anything in peach🙈 I'll just stick to my cherry red & magenta instead! 😅
My favorite color channel is back! Happy New Year! I just adore both of your personalities! 🥰
Last year Viva Magenta wasn't my color so I bought the color for my ear buds. I don't wear my ear buds as an outfit in public. There are ways to use trending colors without wearing them.
I think it would be really cool if you showed colors similar to it that would work for cool undertone people. And maybe a more muted version as well?
Love watching and learning from you both! Happy New Year!
I don't understand why designers would focus on the colour chosen by Pantone? Do they get a discount for using that colour?
I wonder if the Pantone people have some idea of what’s popular already and that’s why they choose that colour.
Actually Pantone pulls out the tends from what the designers are already doing and then the designers pull from them on the COTY. Mutually beneficial relationship. Pantone also has fantastic resources for the general public for your computer and color. Look them up on Google someday and look around.
It’s like a challenge, can you make clothes using this terrible colour?
@@beranovatynabeauty is in the eye of the beholder
Apparel makers all use this color, or similar, so that when people go shopping they can buy things that coordinate together. That presumes of course that you can wear that color!
First of all: a big thank you for your helpful videos! 🙏
Although being a winter, I really ❤ this colour and I think it's the perfect hue for 2024 ...!
I will wear my (old, but precious) peach cashmere pullover, accompanied with an anthracite or navy scarf. 🤩
Lol i have this colour painted all over my house! I am a warm season just dont know which one yet
It really emphasises your natural beauty Alessandra 🧡
Happy New Year to you both! Great to see you back on, thanks for the great videos. I like peach fuzz, I'm a spring so look forward to buying something in it 😊
I always enjoy your videos! I just purchased my online colour analysis a week ago and I am so excited to hear my results! Let's see if I can wear peach fuzz :D
