I had my colour analysis online session with Giulia last week, and I was analyzed as an autumn soft! It definitely makes sense now, why I have struggled to figure out my undertone for so many years. I initially thought I was summer soft thinking I had a cool undertone, but being analyzed by two different professionals (first one based in Sweden and then by Giulia) as a soft autumn makes the world and my wardrobe make much more sense! I think you guys are great and for both of my sisters' birthdays this year I am going to gift them a colour analysis done by you! It will be exciting to see if our best colours will differ. Hope you´re doing well!
Thank you so much dear Louisa, it was a pleasure to connect with you and thank you for thinking about gifting a session to your sisters 💖 We can't wait to analyse their colours: will you ladies have the same palette? Let's find out! 🌈 Love from Giulia
As a soft Autumn what would be another color group ghat you could borrow from? I realize that soft autumn is your ideal but I am trying to understand how it works. Does soft Autumn mean that your most Dominant color characteristic is muted?../doesn’t that mean you can borrow from some of soft summer? Maybe I am confused
@@SB-fh3sv yes you’re correct! My second best season is soft summer, so I wasn’t that far off. Soft summer will look good on me, but not as good as the soft autumn colours. :)
Wow, that is fantastic to hear! I am hoping to do the online analysis soon, after this cold has gone. I laughed when the ladies said everyone thinks they are brights. One in-store (not paid for) analyst told me bright spring and I bought a very bright pink, quite expensive dress, but it is a bit too bright. Thankfully it is a warm pink, so I mute it down with accessories. I understand the point about personality - I am fairly outgoing, but the warm, bright red coat was just too much for me. I wore it once, but felt like Santa Claus and sold it on Ebay very quickly!
Not to talk about their accents, Italian sounds so familiar and beautiful. Giulia is very fluent but Alessandra has a somewhat thick yet charming accent that I wouldn't like she changed 😚
Interesting, for me teal is a color I really should not wear, people even commented on it and they were right. But I agree on dark blue being a universal color.
I think how many is warm/cool also depends on the country and region. I live in Scandinavia and my color analysist said most of us are warm and muted here. In her 3 years she had never had a winter who was from Scandinavia. Lots of summers but never a winter.
I see that Scandinavians typically have lower contrast features, so I understand how pulling off intense winter colours is a rarity there. I guessed summers would be most common. But I didn’t expect warm! So there are lots of autumns? I would guess mostly soft autumns rather than deep or warm autumns.
I wonder if people think we're spring/winter bright because we use the term bright far more often in conversational English for colour. So for example, I think Alessandra's shirt would be called "bright" by many people. But when compared to the bright palettes it's not.
Thanks for this Q&A! You two are not only the best and most professional analyzers I've seen online, but you also both seem like very beautiful and kind people.
I think the reason why many people believe they are Winter Bright or Spring Bright is because they like the colors included in this palettes 😊 I personally love coral (Spring Warm) and all the peachy-salmon spectrum. And years and years I tried to convince myself that these colors suit me - to the level I almost believed it. But deep inside me a voice wispered - "Something's not working, something's not working" 😂 Now I'm aware what it is 😊
From your profile you look like soft summer to me. Maybe even cool summer. I think tanned and with the golden highlights from the sun you can pulled at least peach and salmon from those colors you have mentioned (apricot and coral probably not like the other two)
It was really insightful to hear you assign seasons to celebrities. I’d love if you could do a full video using celebrity examples for all the different seasons and subgroups.
I had my colours done in 1980 and was labelled a Winter. I had and still have at 64 years old, very fair skin, very blonde hair and blue/grey eyes. Your subgroups helped me realize that l may be a summer cool. I will check out your website. Great video!!
I remember in the 80s people all wanted to be Winters because those jewel tones were predominant. Maybe whoever analyzed you was influenced by that because you're clearly not a Winter.
I guess I have to thank makeup companies and their yellow shade ranges for thinking most people have warm undertones 😁I enjoy watching color analysis, and you guys especially, and I have to say it was so incredibly surprising to see so many people that seemed warm toned literally come to life with cool colors, amazing 🤯 it was also a discovery to me that darker hair and darker eyes do not correlate with higher intensity 🧐 honestly, it looks like a before and after in a transformation when you place a color palette against a person that is their season, just so enjoyable and satisfying to watch 🥰
I'm so surprised to find out most people are within a cool undertone, specially looking at all the makeup that is on the market being predominantly warm because that's what sells better and mostly in the 'neutral' colour spectrum (you know all the warm brown palettes and not even grey tones) that would mean that so many people just believe that the warm tones suits them well but actually wearing the wrong makeup. It is such a weird phenomenon specially on social media in the beauty community everyone's telling you how you need to warm up your skin and use bronzers and such, and in reality summers and winters really do not need any warming up and still majority of people believe this is what looks the best on themselves and everyone. I really thought it was because there are less of us cool toned people
@@valerie6709 the eyeshadow colour can emphasize your eye colour or bring out some tones from your eyes but that's about it, it's more about the overall makeup balancing with your undertone and rest of the stuff on your face, outfit, so yeah colour season is more important than the actual eye colour, the old thing people liked to say for example that blue eyes look great with brown eyeshadow, well put a warm brown on a blue eyed summer and the person look like freshly stepping out of the grave 😆. to the bronzers/contours ... bronzers are suppose to warm up the skin so give you smt. like a natural tan, they usually don't go cool, contours on the other hand suppose to create a shadow and helps you sculpt your face so they should match your natural shadows that you can see in your face so it can be super cooltoned for a cool season person, the placement also matters, bronzers are placed on the higher spots on the face where you would naturally tan and contours on the more deeper parts where you want to create a shadow. So nicely done contour can look great on summer or winter but I would not use bronzer at all , it just looks very out of place on a cool face, especially for the predominantly cool types like cool summer and cool winter bronzer is a bad idea
So true! I was recently looking for a cool-toned blush and couldn't find one. I used to have one some time ago, before I was analysed as winter, and remember it suited me well. And now I can't find one that would suit my palette 😢
ikr for some reason the fashion industry seems to always promote warm colours. I don't know if you remember the dreadful trend years ago, for muddy brown lipsticks. Everyone, and I mean everyone was wearing drab brown lipstick whether it suited them or not and it was difficult to find cool clear reds and pinks
That is part of the reason why I love Korean makeup brands. Color Analysis is very common in South Korea, so most Makeup brands actually label their lipsticks, eyeshadow palettes, makeup etc. as "cool" or "warm". Sometimes they even come with the exact season (only summer, winter, spring, autum - no sub catergories). That makes it sooo much easier to buy things. Of course that means you often have to order online but the guidelines help so much. I really recommend looking into those, especially if it's hard for you to see yourself if it's a cool or warm tone. Someone pinks for example can really throw me off unless they are literally coral or almost violet.
States are vastly ethnically diverse country. Not all ethnic groups are cool dominant. In Australia majority of the people have British descent. I work with Brits, they appear mostly cool tonned which is not that prevalent in my ethnicity that is predominantly warm tonned.
For men it’s the opposite, try finding warm colours it’s hard! Go in a store and give a glance to both sections m and f, there’s a huge difference to the eye in warmth from afar.
I don't find this at all! It seems when I'm shopping, every "basic" comes in black, bright white, sometimes a cool toned blue, and a gray. If it's a basic and nothing out there for shape, somehow warm colors are olive/tan only :/. But I understand that whatever our personal color palette is - it will always feel so rare to find the right ones! A good insight is that certain brands favor certain subsections of colors, so branching out to new brands may be the solution for both of us.
When you both said three, two, one summer soft and autumn soft I almost cried! lol I have an undertone that is pretty neutral but I have pretty low contrast especially for a brown person with dark hair. I personally think I skew more towards cool so I thought summer soft, but I realized how close autumn soft is a well and I think in general low contrast colors are my predominant colors over warm or cool. It’s too hard! Lol
Oh my goodness!! I clapped when you said soft summer and soft autumn are the hardest to distinguish because their undertone doesn’t show up as much. I have been reading about color analysis on and off for 5+ years, and since watching your videos I have been even more interested. I’ve “drapped” myself with shirts, towels, and kitchen rags trying to determine my season. I have gotten so frustrated thinking I’m just bad at seeing it. But I got my teenage daughter to play along the other day and I saw it instantly on her. She is very fair skinned and has more contrast than me, even though our hair is very similar in tone and depth. My desire to know more about seasonal color analysis is to allow the true beauty we were created with to shine through. I want to teach that to my daughter too. I love that your channel focuses on that rather than achieving perfection or changing yourself to look a certain way❤
I never wore much “color” and people would always commented on that. I was always sticking with black, blues, greys, dark greys, and some pinks. I have a few yellow toned shirts, but every time I wore them I felt like I looked sick. This was my first indication I had to be cool toned, even tho I’m Hispanic and everyone around me thought I had warm skin. I finally got my color analysis done by a specialist, and low and behold, I’m a dark winter. My wardrobe is mostly cool and dark, so I am keeping most my clothes and throwing away the yellows I hate.
Hi! I am from Mexico I noticed your online service is not available for now but I hope I can get an analysis soon I really have enjoyed your channel I recently have been feeling very sad and not motivated due to my actual work but I am learning about styling and color analysis and it has brought me motivation so thanks for sharing all this with us and also, I think I am a bright winter! People have complimented me every time I wear bright cool colors so I hope I can get an analysis from you soon so that we can confirm ❤
Hi dear, we're sorry to hear you're not feeling great. Our Standard Online service is always available (it's just the Deluxe one that is not available for the moment). If you're interested you can send us an email info@colouranalysis.au Thanks a lot for your message ❤
you two are awesome. your videos have been the best on color analysis that i have found by far! and i really enjoyed this q&a format, i would love to see something like this again in the future. it’s funny to see you say the most difficult to differentiate are summer/autumn soft! i think i might be between those two (leaning autumn, maybe) if i choose to get my color analysis done someday i would love to do it with you!! sending love from halfway across the globe ❤
you should! I did an online analysis with them. Get the one with a one hour zoom call as they walk you through the color analysis process and you get to see how you end up with the color palette you do. And like you… I’m a soft autumn
Your channel is so fun to watch. I see a lot of “professional” color analyses on instagram that seem a little off in accuracy, but I really trust your eye and professionalism. Personally, based on what colors clearly look best on me in photos, I’m a cool summer, but I have some freckles which seems to be a feature of a lot of warm-toned people. Would be interesting to do a professional analysis!
Cool-toned freckles are mentioned in Carole Jackson's "Color Me Beautiful". She describes them as a cool brown instead of golden brown. I bet your palette is fantastic! 🙂
You guys are my fave color analyst on the internet! May i suggest that u do color analysis on someone with vitiligo? I've always been curious about that😮
I have been analyzed online by a professional in the UK and been classified as spring bright. Because of my dark hair I always thought I had to be Winter or autumn but actually since I got the results I see why the colours from winter and autumn kind of never worked. I look really vibrant with those bright colours.
The kindness and truly beautiful people you both are shines through each and every video you produce. Your response to the lovely lady concerned about her weight and having colour analysis done was a prime example. Thank you for sharing your valuable knowledge with such professionalism and compassion. I am a winter but now I'm wondering which winter 🤔 Think it's time to get my colour analysis done 😄🖤💙
Love this channel and I’m so glad I had a session with you. I only wish it could have been in person but since I live in the US I’ll accept the online session. LOL
Vivaia has also ballerinas that have the square or a wider toe box. With age feet change, and if you want to be comfy - more space for the toes. They also have a leopard design that I have been eyeing. They are a bit pricey but get good reviews .....
I enjoyed this so much...thank you ladies! I was analysed as bright spring recently by a House of Colour representative here in the UK I can say that having my colours done has changed the way i feel about myself, and therefore has changed my life. I used to wear only black. Niw, i wear all the cours in my palette, sometimes several at once! If i lived in your area i would come and have my colours done again, just because i like you so much!
I believe I’m spring bright 😅 I have very bright golden olive skin. And I say golden coz it really shines. However, I feel like my intensity leans more toward medium than high level. I can tolerate cool colors if they are bright. But autumn and summer colours mostly make me look dull.
I'd love to get a colour analysis done someday. I'm quite fair skinned with olive undertone, so I've always found it hard to place which palette I'm in. Dark autumn seems to be the best fit overall, but I'm not 100% sure.
I loved this video! I also wanted to share that i have recently been to a color analysis session with them (remote). If you are not in Melbourne and doubting whether online is worth it - it totally is! I loved the process, it was very simple, and the consultation was detailed and so friendly ❤️ 100% would recommend!
I love your content, even when you are not analyzing people, it is so refreshing, easy and informative to listen to you two lovely women! I would like to add my two cents about colors and slimming effect, though. The best slimming effect will not be gained through that one right color only, but the way you use it. So basically, being in your colors, being in harmony will create a slimming effect. It probably has to do with humans percieving color first, and we appreciate visual harmony a lot. Also, it is worth mentioning that forming a vertical line with your clothing (the same color for top and bottom) will also add to that slimming/elongating effect overall.
I already predicted soft summer. I've always been shy which would match that season lol I have medium intensity I think is why I can't figure it out. I really like petroleum and orchid lately too.❤
I think I might be Winter Bright - I'll need to consider getting an analysis from you! My natural hair is quite dark (not black but darkest dark brown), base skin is quite pale, with clear light blue eyes. I only recently discovered color analysis - I feel like I've been fighting my season my whole life because I love gold jewelry, blonde highlights, and peachy pinks / corals on myself. Color analysis is making me realize these things work OK on me because it's not far off from my best match, but MOST harmonious on me are brights leaning cool (and silver). I was skeptical, but tried wearing a vivid blue top with a magenta lip and silver earrings - I thought it looked lovely but I wasn't expecting the amount of feedback I got from everyone on how great I looked 🤔 I'm thinking I need to embrace my natural hair color to fully commit to this.
Did you see the analysis of Nellie ? (or Melanie) Dark skinned model. She was found to be a winter bright and in her case the intensity (bright) was almost more important than the untertone (cool). She could very well wear some bright spring colours. Looked very good in bright orange, which would be normally impossible for a cool season type. Would be interesting if that works for you as well. Of course her dark skin might make it possible that she can venture into neighbour territory. You have fair skin so the grey/pink or yellowish undertones shine through more - and they may have more impact.
Perhaps people think they are brighter than they are because it just sounds more fun. I am between summer and winter. Medium intensity, medium brightness and cool but closer to neutral. I'm not soft enough for summer but not quite bright enough for winter. Because I like bright colours I tend to favour the true winter palette.
I agree with this explanation! When I sit down and drape myself, think I am some type of summer, but the rest of the time I am drawn to wearing spring colors because I just love them and feel so happy and true to myself in them.
black would be draining on you, you are not a winter and your colouring is softer than you think. There are plenty of colours in the summer palettes that are quite bright.
So sommer soft / autumn soft are the hardest to find out (or to tell apart). Well then most likely the client can stray into the other territory. If it is hard to tell, "going wrong" will be also hard to tell. Maybe one should rather concentrate on the GOOD colours out of both subgroups. Also interesting: there are more people with cool undertones (well, at least those that get an analysis. They have mostly caucasians.) And one should wait with an analysis when the person tans a lot. It will make it harder to detect the cool or warm undertone. Some tan changes the intensity levels (like makeup, or defining the eyes better). The person needs and also can pull off higher intensity levels in the colours they wear. So that is the strategy for the too intense favorite piece a statement piece. Getting dolled up, the hair, the make-up, a tan (or self bronzer). This is how the actresses pull off the red carpet robes in intense colours. the big decolleté (so closest to the face is skin, not a very intense colour). And they wear perfectly done make-up.
Thankyou for answering my question about being on the fence due to body image issues. I typically wear medium/medium-high intensity colours because I feel like they're the most flattering for my size and body shape, but I sometimes wonder if something lower intensity might suit my complexion better. I've been on the fence about whether or not I'd like to book a session because I'm nervous about being disappointed or feeling insecure if the colours that suit my natural colouring best aren't colour that I feel comfortable or confident in. I'd love to book a session with you next time I'm in Melbourne (I don't know when that will be, but hopefully later this year or early next year).
Dear Caitlin, thank you for your question. Personality and taste play a role in our style and colour palette. We analyse people in a very analytic and impartial way to tell them the "truth", but then we always have a conversation about taste and personality so don't be afraid. Also think that probably there are some beautiful colours that can do so much for you but maybe you don't know them... yet! Much love from the both of us 💜
Thanks for this wonderful Q&A session - what a refreshing format! You are both lovely. Nice to hear your personal stories - chemist PhD and loving friends 💃🏻
I would have loved to ask if there's a hereditary aspect to colour analysis. For instance, is it more likely for my mum and I to belong to the same palette? If one analyzed a whole family, would they probably have the same undertone? I'll ask next time, I'm really rooting for this channel to reach 100k!
THEY serve more cool toned people (mostly caucasians), so within their clients there are more cool toned folks. Of low to medium intensity (as one would expect for caucasions with mostly not very dark hair, iris, contrast - so summer. And in Melbourne most people have white ancestors, so .... Allesandras bf is Latino and he is an autumn type (I think warm autumn).
@@franziskani I bet that Chinese population is more warm yellow undertone so this beats that about cool people. But in Europe, USA and Australia probably there are is a predominance of cool undertone and their clients are mostly from there and they lived there
Vivaia also has shoes with a square toebox and they even have a leopard design. so very comfortable (this becomes more important when the feet change with age) and the leopard print is a chic and fun point of interest in an outfit. Think jeans, top and the shoes.
I am asian and I find that people who are asians or a naturally tanned tend to naturally assume they are autumn as we also tend to be brunettes and dark eyes.
Same, but looking at East Asians esp Koreans I feel most of them are cool toned (summers or winters) and they look amazing with silver jewelry and icy makeup. Autumns I would say are more common with South Asians like Indians. Southeast Asians and people from the Middle East would probably be half-half chance of being warm or cool.
Bright Spring here!! Hi from the USA! Found your channel on Friday and I love your content! Striking green eyes, peaches and cream complexion, and I flush/blush very easily. With cool, summer or subdued Winter colors I look ill; too much warmth or softness and it's distracting; I need punchy, intense tones. When I wear colors from Bright spring I get compliments; occasionally, I can borrow colors from a bright Winter and use them as a base or accent color but they don't look as good as my warmer Spring tones.
Hi there guys! My daughter introduced me to you and I'm so grateful. I recently got an online analysis as a gift and it's turned me upside down - I've given away the 2/3 of my wardrobe that were colours I loved, but, weren't in my palette. I'm now embracing my 50's with a new passion for colour. And, since I am an autumn (warm) like Alessandra, I would love to ask what brands of clothes you have found most have our colour palette?
Great video ❤️ would love you guys to make a video about putting outfits together based on your season, eg wedding guest outfit, or summer dress or other ideas!
Thank you for the great Q&A session! It's unexpected to find that there are more cool undertoned people in the world than warm ones, because I constantly struggle to find good shades of clothes in online stores. I feel like most designers are focused on warm palette, and finding good shade of pink or red in a store feels like a victory! Pretty tired of "light grey and navy blue" palette (I identify myself as cool winter).
the numbers make sense because red hair accounts for many of the people with warm undertones, and red hair is statistically rare in the population overall
@@SueRosalie I think this approach is more true for caucasians, because people from Asian, Arab and African countries have warm undertone more often and make the most part of the earth population. As an example, I see for several seasons in a row that Uniqlo have warm color palette for bright garments and just the same black-navy-silver items for cold undertones, same goes for other affordable brands. I have found just one brand that has balanced palette for each color season - Marc O'polo (pricey but affordable on sales)
Not in the world. But among their clients (mostly caucasians !) there are more cool toned people. Of light to medium intensity - so more summer than winter.
I was just analyzed by you as a Spring Bright! I thought I was an autumn but the more I think back on the colours I felt great in, they fall in the spring bright palette. I’m so excited to start building my wardrobe fully into my best brights 😊 maybe I need to plan a trip to Melbourne to do a live analysis for your channel 🤔
I honestly think maybe people are drawn to the bright colors. I certainly do not think I am a spring or winter bright, but I was just looking at the colors for these 2 seasons. They are gorgeous! Some of them might look okay on me, but most of them would not. But it's such a beautiful palette. I love bright colors.
I always enjoy your videos, as much for the happy vibe between the two of you as for the colour analysis information. I would like to see a video of how to incorporate colours from a flow season, such as incorporating Warm Spring colours on a Warm Autumn.
Love your channel. Best explanation and results ever. I have had my colors analysed 3 times with 3 different results so I'm a little leary of doing it again. However, the more i watch your videos, the more comfortable i get in your ability. So maybe soon!!!!!
I had dark brown hair, now I become white ⚪️❗️Not grey, really white. There is very rare advice for people with grey hair, but I can't find something for white hair.... Would be great if you do a Analysis with someone with white hair 😀 Love your channel! 💗
Found you channel and I love how you present the information! Very clear information and very well structured analysis! I also love you personalities and accents! You should do videos where you analyze celebrities!
Among _caucasians_ there are more cool seasons. And of course more summer - which is the low to medium intensity. Would also make sense for caucasians. The pink/grey untertone of the skin can shine through. If they have more yellow melanin - that also shows more with fair skin, every human has more darkbrown than yellow melanin (very fair skinned people also have _some_ darkbrown melanin), some have a bit more of the yellow stuff and then they are warm - true gingers have the most of yellow melanin. I think a lot of Asians have a yellowish hue to their skin, and I would assume that a lot of dark skinned people are in the warm category as well. Nell the dark model they showed in another video is a bright winter = cool, but she looks very good in some of the bright spring colours. The undertone cool / war was harder to diagnose.. And with her naturally higher intensity getting the intensity of the colour right is more important than the cool / warm category. Therefore she can pull of a bright orange (when she is a cool type).
Funny you mentioned this! When I first got into color analysis, I also thought I was closest to Spring Bright. A year later I started to review it all, and am now fairly certain I am Dark Autumn. My confusion stemmed from the fact that highlighter yellow and bright pink look great on me although I seem to have a warm undertone, but now I think that might be because my sister palette is dark winter which can wear these clear and bright colors! The colours I look and feel most at home in are definitely more brown, olive green and some dark red. My skintone is also making it hard to analyze by myself cause I have olive skin which is only slightly warm, and my summer and winter coloring differs by several nuances...Maybe someday I will get an analysis from you guys to confirm ;)
olive skin always has a cool undertone, but you should get an analysis by Giulia and Alessandra. Also watch all of their videos so you get a better idea of the colours that are in each palette.
@@kateaye3506 thank you, I appreciate it! I'm thinking of ditching the hair dye and since my natural color is roughly soft black, I guess I'd be salt and pepper However, I see on the internet that gray hair belongs only to the winter season so I'm really interested in whether that's true (because I like winter the least both in terms of colors and in the real season 😁)
Not sure if you will still read this 7 days later, but I really have to say once more that you guys are absolutely awesome. Since I started watching your videos, yt also recommended a lot of similar videos and, to be quite honest, they suck. Just proves to me once more that you two are highly competent (and also likeable) at what you are doing. I don't know if this would be in your comfort zone, but I think you could make a video about how your prices are absolutely worth it even for people with not too much of money. I myself didn't even spent 100€ on clothes in the last 5 years, but I know a lot of people that spent enough of money on often cheap clothes in the hope to have enough choice to get a nice outfit together. I am sure they would save a lot of money if they had their color analyzed by you guys and then get themself some good clothes in good colors they can wear all the time. In regards of women with weight issues, I think that topic would work well with the money topic, as they also often struggle with getting the right clothes. Clothes for bigger sizes I see here in Germany often have cool colors and horrid patterns. I am pretty sure that it would get great reactions if you would invite someone with bigger size for your videos, let her wear 2-3 simple tops of the kind that aren't super flattering but can be worn by anyone without looking bad and show how the right color alone can make that person shine.
How interesting that so many people think they are a bright type! I am a cool winter (which was my first intuition) but I convinced myself I was a bright spring due to yellow overtones in my skin, warm colors in my brown hair and appearing more harmonious with saturated colors.
Can you please analyse East Asian or Central Asian skin? I feel like I can't see anything but yellow. With European, Middle Eastern and African skin types undertones seem more obvious.
@@louisanordmark3463 That makes me so happy. I am starting to figure it out 😂
Wow, that is fantastic to hear!
I appreciate how naturally beautiful and tastefully stylish these two women are. They aren't fake.
they both look so great are are so sweet!
You're too kind, thanks a lot for your support 💙
❤❤❤
Yes, agreed!!! They are a real breath of fresh air
Not to talk about their accents, Italian sounds so familiar and beautiful. Giulia is very fluent but Alessandra has a somewhat thick yet charming accent that I wouldn't like she changed 😚
I love your professional but also approachable style. Not intimidating or judgemental. It is very appealing for a consultant
Teal is one of those colors. If you're cool, it's a coolish green, if you're warm, it's a warmish blue.
I love teal!
Interesting, for me teal is a color I really should not wear, people even commented on it and they were right. But I agree on dark blue being a universal color.
These 2 lovely ladies deserve the world. Thank you for the positivity and education you spread ❤
You're so kind. Thank you for your support, we truly appreciate it ❤
I think how many is warm/cool also depends on the country and region. I live in Scandinavia and my color analysist said most of us are warm and muted here. In her 3 years she had never had a winter who was from Scandinavia. Lots of summers but never a winter.
Funny bcs my thoughts would be spring light and in general spring as well as summer
@@pinagrrrr2280 more muted than clear seasons here. atleast sweden/norway.
I see that Scandinavians typically have lower contrast features, so I understand how pulling off intense winter colours is a rarity there. I guessed summers would be most common. Well if warm as that lady or sir told you, then autumn it is that I find surprising.
I wonder if people think we're spring/winter bright because we use the term bright far more often in conversational English for colour.
So for example, I think Alessandra's shirt would be called "bright" by many people. But when compared to the bright palettes it's not.
THANK YOU, this is so true!
Thanks for this Q&A! You two are not only the best and most professional analyzers I've seen online, but you also both seem like very beautiful and kind people.
Thank you so much, you're very kind 💙
Wow, I like the fact that most people are cool undertones, I wasn’t expecting it.
What an adorable haircut Alesandra. So cute.
Thank you Sherry! Please feel free to reach out if you have questions. Our email is info@colouranalysis.au 🌈
Sounds like you maybe a Light summer.
I agree!
@@SueRosalie in my country it is the opposite. I have not found basicly any warm colors ever no matter the season. It is really frustrating.
Want to see an analysis of a autumn soft and summer soft, now!
Stay tuned!!!
It's weird that cool is dominant, as it's impossible to find clothing in cool colors. In the U.S. all the colors for clothing in the store are warm!
This is SO true! Thanks for your comment xxx
@@hirsch4155 Also very true!
Its interesting that cool tones are more common. I feel most make up is warm. I am a winter by HOC and i think deep.
Lol
'We need to celebrate the uniqueness of each individual' LOVE that! 🎉🌈
I was surprised (pleasantly) to find out I was Bright Winter from you two. I’m so excited to stop denying myself bright colors in my wardrobe 🤩
Is it Melanie? If so, it was so beautiful for us to find a Winter Bright 💙 Enjoy your beautiful and rare colour palette!
@@colouranalysis_studio yes! Though most folks call me Mel haha
If you're interested you can send us an email info@colouranalysis.au
Thanks a lot for your message ❤
you two are awesome. your videos have been the best on color analysis that i have found by far! and i really enjoyed this q&a format, i would love to see something like this again in the future.
it’s funny to see you say the most difficult to differentiate are summer/autumn soft! i think i might be between those two (leaning autumn, maybe)
if i choose to get my color analysis done someday i would love to do it with you!! sending love from halfway across the globe ❤
you should! I did an online analysis with them. Get the one with a one hour zoom call as they walk you through the color analysis process and you get to see how you end up with the color palette you do. And like you… I’m a soft autumn
@@andream9977 i would love to!! bet it’s really nice to have the clarity about your color season !
Excellent video. Love the transparency and thoughtfulness! Giulia and Alessandra have such integrity and it’s really appreciated!
You guys are my fave color analyst on the internet! May i suggest that u do color analysis on someone with vitiligo? I've always been curious about that😮
Thank you so much ☺You're right, it would be so interesting! Let's see if we can find a model x
Great video!!! I’d love to get a glimpse into your closets! A wardrobe /closet tour! Or maybe some of your favorite pieces? 😍👍🏼💕
Thanks for this idea, we will definitely do it in the future :)
Yes, that is indeed a great idea 😊
I have been analyzed online by a professional in the UK and been classified as spring bright. Because of my dark hair I always thought I had to be Winter or autumn but actually since I got the results I see why the colours from winter and autumn kind of never worked. I look really vibrant with those bright colours.
I absolutely love you two! I can't wait to have a consult with you and for my sister too!
Thanks Lana 💖 Feel free to reach out if you have questions (info@colouranalysis.au). We will be waiting for you and your sister! xxx
LOL
Thank you so much again for choosing us 💖 we hope you're having fun using your colours!
Love your videos! Keep it up ❤
This sponsoring at the beginning was done so well, it didnt feel fake or too much, and felt honest and matched what this channel is about, nice take 👍
Vivaia has also ballerinas that have the square or a wider toe box. With age feet change, and if you want to be comfy - more space for the toes. They also have a leopard design that I have been eyeing. They are a bit pricey but get good reviews .....
I enjoyed this so much...thank you ladies!
I was analysed as bright spring recently by a House of Colour representative here in the UK
I can say that having my colours done has changed the way i feel about myself, and therefore has changed my life. I used to wear only black. Niw, i wear all the cours in my palette, sometimes several at once! If i lived in your area i would come and have my colours done again, just because i like you so much!
I normally don’t like watching QA but you guys make it so pheasant to watch it was good with the information and strayed to the point
Too kind, thank you so much ❤
I love how you guys answer in sync 😂 Amazing video though . This is definitely the best yt channel to learn about colour analysis
I did my analysis recently and found out im a bright winter! didn know it was a rare thats so cool!
Thank you so much for answering all the questions
I already predicted soft summer. I've always been shy which would match that season lol I have medium intensity I think is why I can't figure it out. I really like petroleum and orchid lately too.❤
11:04 as a soft summer, I feel this 😂❤
😂😂😂
Amazing! Abaolutely loving the channel, such lovely genuine ladies!!
I would love to see more information about grey/white hair ❤
I think I might be Winter Bright - I'll need to consider getting an analysis from you!
My natural hair is quite dark (not black but darkest dark brown), base skin is quite pale, with clear light blue eyes.
I only recently discovered color analysis - I feel like I've been fighting my season my whole life because I love gold jewelry, blonde highlights, and peachy pinks / corals on myself. Color analysis is making me realize these things work OK on me because it's not far off from my best match, but MOST harmonious on me are brights leaning cool (and silver).
I was skeptical, but tried wearing a vivid blue top with a magenta lip and silver earrings - I thought it looked lovely but I wasn't expecting the amount of feedback I got from everyone on how great I looked 🤔
I'm thinking I need to embrace my natural hair color to fully commit to this.
This is really refreshing to watch, natural talk and good explanation😊
Thank you!
In my family, my mother is true winter, and my sisters and I are true summer, deep winter and deep autumn.
@@Rebecca-zj4wq how interesting
I'm a Winter, and my sister is an Autumn or Spring, not sure. So I'm cool, and she's warm.
In Latin America there are a lot more autumns and springs then winters and summers
@@franziskani
I bet that Chinese population is more warm yellow undertone so this beats that about cool people. But in Europe, USA and Australia probably there are is a predominance of cool undertone and their clients are mostly from there and they lived there
I was classified as Bright Spring, and I never believed it! 🤣 I feel that I'm a Deep Autumn.
Very common! Please let us know if you'd like to have a second opinion :)
@@colouranalysis_studio I would love to see your opinions on an aging autumn color analysis, is camel still good with gray hair, for example... 💖
Your videos are really great! Thank you! ❤
WOW a sponsor! Good luck girls!
Loved this Q&A! So helpful to hear people’s questions and your answers!
Every week I learn something different. You are so detailed about you answers. It is so helpful. Thanks again.
I really liked your answer on the link between personality and intensity/subgroups, thanks 🙏
Alessandra I love your haircut!!!
Thank you ❤️🥹
Hi there guys!
Thank you both, I love how you explain things. I’m curious why there are different sub seasons within different professional color analysis systems.
You are the best color analysis duo 🎉🎉🎉
thank you for the videos. I really like the information and you two are just so sweet and relaxing! Kind regards from Denmark.

We are very glad to read that the result makes sense ❤ enjoy your beautiful palette 🌈
My sister was analysed as spring bright by an analyst, my mother as well. My sister also lives there close to Melbourne.
I don’t know how I missed this! Such great questions. 😊
I love your channel and your work! ❤

if you were already a winter, white hair is great with your palette! It's trickier if you are one of the warm seasons.
@@SueRosalie Thanks! 😀 Yes, I am a Winter. I think cool winter or true winter.

Natural contrast
Found you channel and I love how you present the information! Very clear information and very well structured analysis!
I also love you personalities and accents!
You should do videos where you analyze celebrities!
Interesting to know there's more cool people. I believe myself to be a Deep autumn and I can't wait for one to feature on your channel. 🧡
24:19 beautiful comment!
This is awesome!
YES, we want BRIGHT seasons
It would be great to see the difference between a true summer and cool summer. How do you determine a true season from the season’s subtypes?
Maybe if no "sister season" looks good but all colors from the three subseasons look very good.
Please find someone with light skin and gray (salt and pepper) hair for one of the future analyzes 🤞🏼😄

@@kateaye3506 thank you, I appreciate it!
I'm thinking of ditching the hair dye and since my natural color is roughly soft black, I guess I'd be salt and pepper
However, I see on the internet that gray hair belongs only to the winter season so I'm really interested in whether that's true (because I like winter the least both in terms of colors and in the real season 😁)
@@colouranalysis_studio Yaaay!
@@Bea-xc7wy I am very much not winter season. Those colours wash me out so much.
Love seeing new videos from you both! I am hoping to do an in person with you for my 50th, along with my son and his 21st. Expect my booking soon.

How interesting that so many people think they are a bright type! I am a cool winter (which was my first intuition) but I convinced myself I was a bright spring due to yellow overtones in my skin, warm colors in my brown hair and appearing more harmonious with saturated colors.
Love this! Also, I was one of your winter brights and guessed it too. I’ve been wearing brighter and brighter colours thanks to you ❤
Can you please analyse East Asian or Central Asian skin? I feel like I can't see anything but yellow. With European, Middle Eastern and African skin types undertones seem more obvious.
I'd love to book an appointment when I next visit Melbourne.
