Wonder Woman was a fantastic film. I can see that there are a few flaws, but they're very minor. This film shows us why Wonder Woman is a great hero. She doesn't help people because of a tragic backstory, she helps people because she wants to! She has a heart of a true hero.

the first movie in the DCEU that was agreed on by fans and critics as a good movie. I can agree that wonder woman was a nice fresh start for the DCEU because after that we had praised movies like aquaman.
I remember way back then when everything was oficially starting with BvS and how "critics" complained that the DC movies weren´t like Marvel movies (family/comedy/action). I´m a DC fan...meaning I grew up watching every DC content and, as an adult, reading the comics. And that´s how the comics are. I can count very few characters that are lighthearted/fun/funny (Flash, Shazam, Plastic Man, Booster Gold...). Most are just plain serious. And that´s what WB was offering. And you (not you personally but people in general) might point at Wonder Woman or Aquaman for having been portrayed differently. Not really. It´s just that while serious not all the characters have to be Batman. And WW and Aquaman just reflected their comics. Now, after years upon years of the MCU offering the same (mostly). How are they now? And it was always unfair that MCU fans and "critics" were always in favor of them while trashing DC each time.
Wonder Woman was a rare instance of epic and greatness coming together. It is definitely in the top 5 greatest super hero movies of all time. I don't care about any other movie that featured Wonder Woman. This particular movie on its own is incredible.
Oh I was surprised that you already saw Wonder Woman, the movie is amazing and epic, full of action and emotions: The first time I saw it, I was amazed and I loved her fighting style of Diana and her big heart, and my absolute favorite line I say is when Diana says: "It's not about deserve, it's about what you believe and I believe in love."
man its so good to see their thumbnail on BvS and Wonderwoman. You know DC have won and was heavily misunderstood by people who lack empathy and expect superheroes to be funny and comedic

Laura made me cry she’s so emotional 😭 ❤ She would definitely be a crying candidate for the Gladiator with Russel Crowe and Man on Fire with Denzel Washington and absolutely Titanic with Leonardo DiCaprio the end will dehydrate her body from her tears 😂
This reaction was my favorite. I am 50 years old and I am gay and Wonder Woman is my favorite character ever. I use to pretend to be her when I was a child. There was a tv show in 1975- 1980 in USA . I wanted ti be her. Your reaction was very great. Thank Uou.
no she wasn't. Being beautiful and sexy she taught exercise and calisthenics per 2007 interview. She served in the military which everyone in her country is required to do. She said the soldiers in her classes liked her, which im guessing is because yes, your beautiful and great looking, pretty sure they liked you. She was involved in what the american service calls PT, physical training and after her 3 month initial boot camp she went to physical fitness training for soldiers. She didn't train anyone in hand to hand combat, or any other type of combat. Her job was to exercise and get troops into shape. Not much else has been revealed about her location, job title, or other but probably she was an instructor at the IDF combat fitness school, or a similar school.

Been a pleasure to watch Magy introduce the Snyderverse DC films to Laura! Next up is the one and only Justice League!! Disclaimer: I do mean the 2021 Zack Snyder release, not that Frankenstein's Monster of a movie from 2017.
Gal Gadot looks so damn good in that amazon armor as my favorite founding member of the Justice League/#1 favorite DC superhero. Just a heads up: If you watch the Justice League movie, please make sure it's the Snyder Cut and not Joss Whedon's bastardized knockoff.
rainbow, agreed. damn Warner Bro's studio interference. bonus message. I've got good news. God is good because He gives His blessings to everyone, whether they be good or bad. but everyone has at least, told a lie, or stolen something in their life. and that makes them sinners, and God cannot stand one iota of sin in His presence, because He is holy. so God has to punish the sinners in hell, because God is just. but God is also love and He made a way for some to be saved from His wrath. here are the steps: 1. admit that you're a sinner and are lost. 2. realize that the penalty of sin is death (hell). 3. believe that Jesus (who is God in the flesh) died on the cross, was buried, then rose from the grave, to pay the penalty for man's past, present, and future sins. 4. trust Christ alone as your Savior, and not on your own good deeds to get you to heaven (nor a combination of faith and your self-righteous works). 5. pray to God NOW that you're following these steps because if you die before making this decision, it's too late.
One of the best films of the d EU. You are forgetting Man Of Steel as well buddy. Henry Cavill along with Gal Gadot are birth, legendary as Superman and Wonder Woman.
Ah, yes. This Wonder Woman film is the magnificent one of the DC era. The funny moments, the sad moments, and the awesome moments. Though the most awesome moment is when Diana suited up into her attire we know and love and started crossing No Man's Land simply because she wanted to do the right thing.
WW was an epic space in time, everyone was hype and just having fun immersing themselves in the content. No matter what happens, NOTHING can discredit those memories. But we call such moments legendary for a reason I guess.. 👊🏻
If Ares Had been Fully Restored to His True Might and True Power He Would be her one True Match When She Fully Embraces her GodKiller Power....... Ares and Diana are Zeus' most powerful Son and Daughter.
The bit about Diana's dad being Zeus is a very recent addition to a long WW story. The original Diana had no father, and had an adoptive mother in Hippolyta. She was a sculpture from clay given life by the Olympian goddesses.
@@stevetheduck1425That's a lie Steven. Zeus was still her father he just predestined her to be in Themyscera learning how to be an Amazonian warrior to help stop Zeus. 4:53 I mean, overall, this was an awesome movie, but _this_ part surprised me. Steve Trevor, here played by Chris Pine, is a soldier whose arrival shows us it's the First World War. Now I had seen a movie about this character that came out just a few years _earlier,_ and it showed Steve Trevor arriving during the _Cold_ War.
5:03 This part surprised me as well. How is it, there's this intangible _field_ around Themyscira, with day on _one_ side of it and night on the _other?_ How is it _one_ side of this field faces _toward_ the Sun while the other side faces _away_ from it?
5:25 Now in the battle that follows this scene, the German soldiers are defeated because of _course_ they are. The level of technology in Themyscira is _millennia_ more advanced. But what's with all the acrobatics? What's _that_ about?
It's a wonderful film but would have been even more so without Diana actually fighting Areas and letting what Trevor said about mankind remain the point and a powerful theme.
Hey beautiful people. You described Wonder Woman as pure but that’s acting 🎭. Your reactions is what is pure. Tears are acting but your tears are genuine as hell and I love it 🥰 When are you both going to react to Zack Snyders Justice League ? Xx
The beginning scenes, with Diana as a little kid, set the tone of the movie perfectly, or rather, one of the themes in it, innocence. We can see how warped Diana's understanding of the world is bcause of the way she was raised, because of the things kept from her by everyone, at her mom's command. All the lies and secrecy, the concept of good and evil being ingrained so much into her and the other amazons - it makes the scenes where they kill people very natural, with no remorse or second thought but at the opposite side of the spectrum we have Charlie, the member of the crew we originally see as just your typical drunkard guy. The scene where he has nightmares about the people he killed, that shows us a much more realistic side of the world and the baggage that comes with it. Steve waking up on the beach, with Diana looming over him - talk about being blessed. You've said it perfectly, Magy. Steve telling the amazons about the war, the horrors of the outside world, that was such a shock to Diana and in contrast, the rest of the amazons were not surprised, expecting as much from the world of man. That scene with the cave, Steve naked, is another perfect example of Diana's innocence and Steve trying to protect that. She had no qualms looking at him naked, asking those questions, while Steve covered himself instantly, the outside way of thinking. Same thing happened on the boat, during the "sleeping together" dialogue. Diana looks at things in a very clinical manner, while Steve, raised with certain expectations and customs in mind, considers the whole thing embarrasing, reticent to sully her pristine reputation. Their dynamic, the chemistry they share on the screen, these two actors have been perfectly casted in these roles. Poor Steve...Clio's Treatise on Bodily Pleasure, all 12 volumes, completely took the wind out of his sails 😂 The scenes with Diana discovering London are adorable to watch. Seeing a baby, the duties of a secretary, getting a proper attire - comedy gold right there. Meanwhile, Steve did his best to protect her from the world's prying eyes. Sword and Shield = Purse - Magy said it, an all around very dangerous tool 😂 It's chilling, the scenes where Diana finally sees the reality of the war, all the wounded people, running from the war, trying to take their belongings with them. The "No Man's Land" scene is easily in top 5 DCU scenes. The way she inspires everyone to take up arms and win the battle is amazing. Diana's theme track is phenomenal, Hans Zimmer scoring like an absolute legend. That was a really good catch, Magy, noticing Steve was her first and the meaning behind that night after they liberated the village. Seeing the village get bombed and everyone killed is what made her lose faith in humanity. Steve's heroic sacrifice and his death is what renewed it, as well as seeing his comrades fight and stick together until the very end. The general, together with Dr. Poison, made for some very distracting side-villains, almost making you forget about Ares. Finally getting to hear what Steve told her right before jumping on the plane made it that much more heartbreaking, knowing that by then he already died. Diana realizing that only love can save the world, after having lived so many years, is such a beautiful message and it forms the perfect conclusion to the movie. Thank you for this beautiful reaction ❤
Loved your reactions to Wonder Woman, and your thoughts on the underlying themes of the movie Magy & Laura. It's not perfect, but I hope you two will react to WW84 at somepoint too!
I loved the movie and loved this reaction. Another movie with heart and a totally badass woman as the protagonist is "The Long Kiss Goodnight" starring Geena Davis and Samuel L. Jackson. You would love it.
I love this movie so much and Gal is our pride and joy here in Israel ok one of them any way. She was perfect for thid part and she was also pregnent with her first daughter when doing this movie and despite that she did a lot of her stunts. Glad you enjoyed this one girls I still do no matter how many times I watch it as for David being the bad guy wasn't surprising for me because he plays thw bad guy a lot and I know him from Dragonheart when he was 16 and there is was a nasty bad guy as well. He acted all kind to fool those watching the movie and they did a good job making it look like he was a good man.
You both should check out the movie Professor Marston and The Wonder Women. It is based off the guy who created Wonder Woman comics. It tells the story of how he created the comics. It is a very good movie
- and covers the reasons why the lasso of truth, and why the comics enemies of Wonder Woman were almost always women, not true in the films. In the films, the women enemies were merely misguided. Arguably the male villain in WW1984 was misguided, but his reason was desperation, intriguingly. The 'use' of a man as the vessel for Steve Trevor is... really odd, and goes unexplained (who and what he was is utterly unimportant to the story, for example), except possibly in that all wishes granted by an outside force will be tainted and contain the seed of their own destruction.
I consider Superman (1978), Superman 2 (1980), Batman (1989), Batman Returns (1992) all to be essential viewing for DC cinematic context. In fact "Wonder Woman 1984" (2020) fits tonally between and references the Donner Superman movies and the Burton Batman movies.
Y'know I remember everybody taking Hyppolyta's line "You may never return again", as an edict rather than the worry of a mother. Still bothers me and is a benchmark for, 'are you going to understand this movie?'
14:32 "They came to the conclusion that men are essential for _procreation_ but when it comes to pleasure, unnecessary." 😖 Well now, _that_ kind of hurts.

5:25 Now in the battle that follows this scene, the German soldiers are defeated because of _course_ they are. The level of technology in Themyscira is _millennia_ more advanced. But what's with all the acrobatics? What's _that_ about?
Just call it a feeling- I knew the minute I saw that man with a cane and walking limp (he was secretly Aries). Villains have secret identities too.
Super waiting for Zack Snyder's Justice League
My favourite superhero movie ever, want Wonder Woman 3 already!
This was your favorite ever? Geez.
The purest reaction
Hello bellas ladys, me gustó la película y su reaction, un abrazo virtual ala distancia alas 2 en especial para laura. 🤗✌️🖤
It's a wonderful film but would have been even more so without Diana actually fighting Areas and letting what Trevor said about mankind remain the point and a powerful theme.
Hey beautiful people. You described Wonder Woman as pure but that’s acting 🎭. Your reactions is what is pure. Tears are acting but your tears are genuine as hell and I love it 🥰
When are you both going to react to Zack Snyders Justice League ?
Poor Steve...Clio's Treatise on Bodily Pleasure, all 12 volumes, completely took the wind out of his sails 😂
The scenes with Diana discovering London are adorable to watch. Seeing a baby, the duties of a secretary, getting a proper attire - comedy gold right there. Meanwhile, Steve did his best to protect her from the world's prying eyes.
Sword and Shield = Purse - Magy said it, an all around very dangerous tool 😂
It's chilling, the scenes where Diana finally sees the reality of the war, all the wounded people, running from the war, trying to take their belongings with them.
SAD WONDER WOMAN (2017 ) FILM - REACTION !!!
He acted all kind to fool those watching the movie and they did a good job making it look like he was a good man.
i remember reading that during the making of this movie Gal Gadot was pregnant . And used special effects to cover it up.
32:06 Well Its in her nature, women were always the most rebellious ones of humans.
If you're working your way up to the Flash, definitely do Batman (1989) and Batman Returns first. Superman (1978) is still out there too. lol
@@omeshsingh8091Great DC Cinematic universe insight. I would agree as well Omesh.
You two are hilarious 😂 . I love watching this with you.
Thank you ladies!
considering how sweet and tender their love was...killing Steve was the saddest thing in this movie.😥 it sucked.🥺😭
You two look like wonder woman ♥️
Great movie the only decent DCEU movie beside Shazam. You should do the Christopher Reeve Superman movies at least 1 and 2.
1:29 😏I dig the pillow to Laura's right.
a lot of points for not spoiling Magy lol
Y'know I remember everybody taking Hyppolyta's line "You may never return again", as an edict rather than the worry of a mother. Still bothers me and is a benchmark for, 'are you going to understand this movie?'
Did you two recognize Queen Hippolyta from *Gladiator* or Antiope from *Forrest Gump*
14:32 "They came to the conclusion that men are essential for _procreation_ but when it comes to pleasure, unnecessary."
😖 Well now, _that_ kind of hurts.
You can watch Chris Pine as Captain Kirk in The Star Trek movies.
Honeslty, one of few female superhero movies that is done right.
10 out of 10. Hell, yes.
37:56 That's her Brother Ares.
Chance. Ares is Diana's half- brother from Zeus's family in Mt. Olympus.
The guy who plays Ares in this movie is the same guy who plays Lupin in Harry Potter
Seniors. Actor David Thewlis played, Sir. Patrick Morgan / Ares in 2017 " Wonder Woman" film. You were right Diana they didn't deserve our help ? They only deserve destruction ? You you're him. I am. But, I'm not what you thought I was.
Thank you.Really.Thank you.
This movie got so much right. It's astounding that the same creative team could have come up with the fiasco that was the sequel.
Love this movie , Gal Gadot is ❤❤
*”I’m both frightened and aroused.”* 😏😛
I highly recommend watching "The man from U.N.C.L.E." It has the same vibes.
Did you two know Gal was pregnant filming this movie 4 or five months.
Yes. Laura definitely looks A LOT like Gal Godot. And yes, that does mean that Laura is hot. 🔥
You should react to Wonder Woman 1984 next!
I absolutely 100% agree.
@@omeshsingh8091it was garbage
