I love the Rim, we usually go up and hang out just off of Young Road. I appreciate the detail of information you give us. I have subscribed, to your channel and have enjoyed the reviews and information of dispersed camping throughout AZ.
Looks like a great place to camp with our 4 Australian Shepherds. Have you seen any Bears yet?
@@NatKekuna2012 we didn’t see any - but we heard they were around - we always bring bear spray just in case. Someone spotted a black bear near Black Canyon Lake a few days earlier.
Those powerlines are not safe for people or animals because of the EMF pollution. I prefer to quite a distance from those things, including cell towers. Question: If this is in June or July, did you have a problem with no-see-ums, this trip? I hear that they can be bad at this time of the year in N. Arizona. Thank you for showing us around! Those places are beautiful, minus the EMF powerlines.
@@FlourishingLove no pests this year, last year was a different story. We came prepared too 🐜🕷️🧴! There were some nice spots further away from the power lines - I have to admit they did freak us out a little bit because you could hear them!
Bear Down!
How hot is it up there in that area in mid July?
@@janowens4406 right it’s probably 85/55 high and low. But you can check on weather bug or other weather apps for Forest Lakes, Arizona weather. Watch out this time of year for strong storms especially in the afternoon!
Thanks I might be able to go check that out in September
Do I just set my gps for forest rd 237??
Larson camp area
September should be nice there, I usually just set a Google map link for Larson Camp area works fine.
