Thanks so much for the great directions!! You gave the best directions of anyone on TH-cam. I live near Payson and I’m always looking for places I can get away for a couple of days that aren’t too far away.❤👍🙏
Thank you for sharing locations. I was paralyzed with fear on where to boondock and how to find a good spot. Thanks to you, I am spending the week on 222 about a mile back and in a great spot just loving the trees and cooler temps!
We love watching y’all, you give great directions and recommendations……we will be on the Rim later this week, right now we’re near springerville and Vernon, mostly decent roads the whole way FS 61 & FS 117…..looking for those cooler temps
So you guys have a dog....I have been reading about Valley Fever in dogs (and people). Just how bad is this? Should we be concerned if we want to come out west for the winter? So many questions and concerns and unknowns. But I am grateful I found your channel. I love your videos and the information you provide. We love "off the beaten path", but we will be working if we come for the winter, but exploring in our free time.
@@kimlittleton4943 Patch is only two, but we haven’t had or heard of any issues with it from our friends who also have dogs. But just to be safe, I would ask your vet before you travel out west.
@@HolidayForTwo42 Thank you for the insight. You read so much "horror" on the internet. Always makes you wonder just how "for real" it really is. They make it sound horrible. When we traveled in 2018 to Texas, our dogs got sick. GI symptoms.....I knew it was from groundwater (there was so much rain at that time). We had them checked at a vet there......and they told me it was travel sickness. I was not buying it. Our dogs always travel with us. Plus I am a nurse.....my nose tells me when it is something going on versus something you ate (ya know). So We fed rice and canned chicken for a couple of days, and it cleared up. We try to avoid groundwater drinking, when we can, but dogs cannot resist drinking from a freaking puddle. When it occurred, we were at San Angelo State Park where there are a lot of wildlife that roam. But anyways....I am just jabbering. LOL Try to be more pro-active as we travel to unfamiliar areas.

Thank you for including the sound of the rain. It was so delightful.
@@whiterabbit2786 if you liked the rain, wait until next week’s episode 😉 we had downpours!
Your reaction to the Thunder clap made my day!! 😂😅🤣🤣🤣🤣
I buy a lockbox with a cable on Amazon for $12 and lock it to the propane tank. I keep all the spare keys in it. Good luck and safe travels 👍
@@johnadams7323 great idea, thanks! 😊
@@HolidayForTwo42 it works pretty good 👍

You need a check off list!
@@rvlife289 I know, exactly! lol!

Didn't this summer seem hotter than usual even up in the high country in Arizona?
@@azxp it seemed about the same as last summer, but yes hot and still hot in late September.
@@HolidayForTwo42 I hope you are not in the valley this week. It is brutal right now.
@@azxp no kidding - heat warnings through next week 😣
