I may be purchasing a 2005 Buell XB9SX Lightning tomorrow, but we will see. I am doing as much research as possible, and your videos are helping quite a bit with that information. Thanks, take care, ride safe.
@@PaulsMotoZen No full diagnostic. It can perform some tests, you can watch live logging, you can record those logs, and export them. That's probably as close as you can get to a "full diagnostic". I'm sure someone who's better at ECMDroid might be able to show some more functionality I'm not aware of.
Good Work! I am going to pick up a Buell tooth this week at some point used. I would have purchased a brand new unit from Revision, but it was difficult to get a hold of anybody. Also hoping to get my hands on a quick shifter & module.
Nice! The QS is an awesome mod for these bikes. They are very finicky to tune, just be patient with that process. The slightest adjustment makes a huge difference. The directions they provide are pretty good. Also, on my bike, I had to modify the bracket they give you. Basically, I just enlarged the upper mounting hole to allow it to be moved the fraction of an inch I needed for better alignment with the sensor. Don't do what I did unless you absolutely need to.
Late to this party. Have you personally used this device and the software to reflash/burn a race map to the ecu? If so, I'd love to see a video demonstration. Thanks so much!
@kz6fittycent sounds great! Thanks so much. Recently acquired an 08 xb12scg that has had the air box and exhaust modified with no remapping. So many of the hyperlinks on the forums and elsewhere are dead these days, so it's been frustrating trying to find the race map files and figure this out.
Hi, found your video interesting. I purchased a 2003 XB9S from a meth head and the bike was a gonner. I rebuilt the whole bike and then some. The bike now runs amazing however,. every so many miles of riding it, the check engine light kicks on and stays on for a mile or two then shuts off. The meth head included a Buelltooth dongle. I have used it to run the stored codes and I get a O2 censor inactive and rear O2 censor always lean. Is it possible the meth head attempted to make some changes to the ECU and that's why the check engine light comes on periodically? Is there a way that I can default the ECU using the Buelltooth? I typically don't keep the dongle plugged in anyway. Does disconnecting the dongle default the ECU? Thanks so much.
That may be possible. There might also be a short in the wiring you'd need to investigate. Lean conditions may also be a result of the intake seals leaking. You can check if they leak by warming the engine up, and spraying carb/injection cleaner around the intake. If the idle changes, you've got a leak. If not, then it's likely fine and the cause for the code is something else (e.g. tune). Here's the link to the factory tune files (you can flash with ECMDroid): buellmods.com/#TabbedContent
Can you check fuel pressure with buell tooth? And what issue did the bike have to know it was the fuel pressure regulator? Mine running on one cylinder
Where do I buy this device? Please help I have a 2007 Buell XB12R which is not running on the rear cylinder and I need a TPS reset. Please help thank you
Buell parts are only expensive because of O' Bidens economy, otherwise it seems everything is easy to find and relatively cheap. St. Pauls H-D will still sell just about any OEM part you can imagine, and there are some interesting aftermarket re-designs such as the BOTT frame kit. The Revision moto Buell Tooth is a gem if you ask me, they will also clean and test your injectors for $45, along with their $100 fuel pump kit which is not bad
Editing the fuel map remains a serious matter, but you can walk a tightrope with this app with reasonable impunity. I love it.

Hey awesome man! I'm glad to help. I would highly recommend you check out the Buell forum and the Telegram group in the description.
@@kz6fittycent On the ECM Droid, is there an option to do a full diagnostic, or do you have to check each item separately?

@kz6fittycent I would love to start the process, if I could only get my hands on one..🤞
Man points out if it do wheeleez reel good?
I wonder if you’re not using a buelltooth. Could you plug a gear indicator in that connector.
@@sgtwilderness2821 oh that’s a good question!
@ right, because I’m not an electrician. I don’t feel good about splicing wires to install one.

I cannot verify, since my bike doesn't have one, but here's a link to a forum post suggesting it: www.buellxb.com/forum/showthread.php?55122-EcmDroid
