@@alexzlm523 did you want the caliper piston diameter or the master cylinder diameter? The mc is 19mm. I’ll have to get back to you on the caliper piston sizes.

​@@kz6fittycent I need the piston diameter of ZTL2 visually, it should be 30/27? I want to replace Brembo RCS master cylinder break and considering using 16 or 17.

@@alexzlm523 I actually cannot find the piston diameters for the ZTL2. I tossed the old ones in the garbage. That said, I strongly recommend a 19mm master cylinder. STRONGLY. Your brakes will likely feel very mushy with anything smaller.

@@r.williamcomm7693 I have not. But my buddy did I think he ended up removing it. I’m of the opinion that if the suspension is tuned properly, it won’t need a damper. My opinion is based on Dave Moss’s opinion.

@kz6fittycent Thank you very much for the advice & quick reply. I went ahead & bought the Buell xb12xt! I'm an "experienced" rider over decades but honesty in recognizing my limitations & wanting to challenge myself is why I bought it. The longer wheel bases & friendly rake angles of my cruisers, touring bikes & even my Concours14 made riding easier instead of challenging me. It became more about the number of miles than enjoying each turn in a twisty road. The Buell reminds me of a dirt bike at times too. Thanks again. I'm going to look up Dave Moss & start learning more about setting up the suspension properly. 👍

Perhaps. From what I understand, there are two types of pistons and each uses a different length wrist pin.

Nice! The QS is an awesome mod for these bikes. They are very finicky to tune, just be patient with that process. The slightest adjustment makes a huge difference. The directions they provide are pretty good. Also, on my bike, I had to modify the bracket they give you. Basically, I just enlarged the upper mounting hole to allow it to be moved the fraction of an inch I needed for better alignment with the sensor. Don't do what I did unless you absolutely need to.

@@thirdgearboogie2210 that is very likely the ground. There is a mod that you can do to improve the grounds for the entire circuit and the starter will function as you would think. My bike grunts when it starts lol.

@kz6fittycent sounds great! Thanks so much. Recently acquired an 08 xb12scg that has had the air box and exhaust modified with no remapping. So many of the hyperlinks on the forums and elsewhere are dead these days, so it's been frustrating trying to find the race map files and figure this out.
