Hi Cole, thanks for the awesome video. I'm attempting to shut off my exhaust valve actuator because, I removed it due to the thing no longer works. I attempted to shut it off in ECM Spy however, I can't save the changes once I unclick the exhaust valve actuator box. What can I do to save the settings so that my check engine light shuts off?
I just got this and hooked it up to my bone stock 2008 xb12scg to see what was causing a random check engine light. It's an awesome app. My other goal is to change my fan settings so the fan runs more when I'm riding, and less after I shut it off. One, to keep the engine cooler, and two, to keep the fan from draining the battery after it's shut off. Do you have any recommendations for that? I have the same firmware version as yours in the video....BUEOD. Thanks in advance!
Awesome!!! Can the ECMDROID app do everything that the ECMSPY can do?? I have only the "demo" version of ECMSPY and for example it doesn't have the gauge display. Can I survive just with ECMDROID?
ECMDroid can do just about everything. The big things it can't do, is make manual changes to the map, you can only load full eeproms to the app. So, if you wanted to make changes, it would require another software, but if you have an EEPROM you want to use, you can just load it through the app. Also, you can't set static timing with it. Those are the 2 big things it is missing from ECMSpy. If you want changes to your map, I can always help with that too.
Nice intro to ECMDroid Cole. 👍

Very nice.
How did you download ECMDroid on an Amazon device?
Are you still selling these?

Thank you!! Sounds awesome!! I'm just at the baby stages so far. If I add a new exhaust (Jardine or similar) do I need to change the EEPROM???
Tried to test my fan said broken pipe
