I think the programmers did a mistake. You get "foulted" when you prepare to shot because actually the oppossition attempts to block that shot so the game doesnt percive it as a sliding takle, but for a unsuccesfull block, so no foult... hopes this changes in Pes 2011
did anyone know if the konami guys are doing something or just gonna wait till pes2011 ? there are some serious bugs all over the game, mostly gameplaying there are times that i shut it down
This problem has been around since PES 2009. no they are not gonna patch cuz there are still people who buy this game and won't bother trying other alternatives. I have been a Winning Eleven fan still Super Nintendo time and unfortunately Konami has ruined one of their best titles in their history.
Fifa refeeing is worse trust me I was on fifa 1 with a friend and the ball hit the referee, he gave a freekick to the opposition !? Can someone explain me tht ?

But what doesn't happen is players standing around completely oblivious to the game of football going on the pitch....1700 attempted chip balls over the top by the computer....600 games and not one penalty kick and only 3 fouls called on the computer in that span....players standing still EVEN when you're telling them to run.....players on "magic paths" that run straight and never stop.....watching my guy have to slow down so some other guy can reach a pass..THIS GAME SUCKS
pes has by far the worst referee decisions ever! it is always a thing that drove me mad! I played fifa 2011 and, man, I felt like THIS is how it's done.
Nope, it's a bug. Plain and simple. Yeah, refs get decisions wrong in real life, but those are clear as day. There is only one where the player is anywhere near the ball. Not one real life ref would get any of the other calls wrong.

Yes, these auto-slides RIGHT AFTER you press SHOT button are crapy... You just press shot and in SAME time AI starts sliding that is NEVER foul in refs decision! Fukc this version, lets take 2011 and hope.

Yeah, I'd agree, It's the "auto slide" whereby only computer knows the "exact time" time to slide. It's a Major bug i think.
Konami's "advantage" system means they don't call fouls if you are shooting or passing or preparing to shoot or pass :(

You cant deny the true that its a bug, die-hard PES fan.
and the zonal marking also kill the game, when I have ball , gang of 3-4 CPU players come and tackle me. No foul given, of course.
