Luke Evans is so underrated. He was brilliant in Beauty and the beast.
And stunning in The Robbers Tale. He’s an excellent actor who hasn’t been properly recognised.
what a charming, modest, and intelligent man - also terrific actor - a pleasure to listen to!
The interviewer needs to allow the person to speak and pause more. It’s not polite to interrupt the guest allow them to talk.

I know exactly what he went through as I did myself. I have lots of beautiful memories from my upbringing the biggest one of all is prayer. I never stopped and now married with my partner and living my authentic life❤

I was very lucky to have seen Luke very early on his career in the Boy George musical Taboo at The Leicester Square theater in 2003.
Seems like everyone that watched agrees that she should just shut up and let him talk. Constantly interjecting and her random noises are just annoying. How does she even stay on the air being so annoying to guests. I just wouldn't put up with that. It's just plain rude.
Barely a day goes by when there’s footage of TH-cam of Lorraine that viewers are commenting about her talking too much or over people , so why don’t her bosses feedback that back to her

All credit to him, I left the JWs when I was 20 in 1983 and have been shunned by my mother for 40 years and right now, I am calling 7 crematoriums every 2 days to find out if my father is scheduled for a cremation as he recently passed away and I can't find out any details from 'family'! I am so happy that Luke still has a great relationship with his parents, probably because he wasn't baptised? I was pressured to get baptised when I was 17 and then was 'disfellowshipped' when I left, aged 20! The Jehovah's Witnesses 'organisation,', is a Cult and causes a lot of harm and is full of people who only know how to love conditionally!

Forced religion is not good, you can't force a person, especially an adult. Luke is just lucky to have wonderful loving parents, for them he is above religion. Love for their son won out, that's the way it should be in the world, parents should support their children. Support is not just words, it's a strength to get through any difficulties and find a way when you can't see it. Good luck in your life, I really hope your mum realises her mistake and resumes communication with you.

It would be great if she did, but she is so indoctrinated after 55 years in that she won't do this now and she has only given out conditional love since she became a JW in 1969 and at 92, she won't change now. I have a recording of my dad (who never was a JW) telling me in a voicemail in 2019 that he didn't want to see me again and wanted no further contact, but he fumbled at the start of the message and my mum is in the background saying - "go on," "go on" to him. The JW cult is a terrible organisation!
I wondered when he would talk about his experience of that religion as a gay man. He's being kind by calling it a 'faith' or religion. it's a cult!

"Don't ever wipe tears without gloves" A 2012 gay film about the AIDS epidemic. The two main characters are in a relationship, one with Aids, and the other a closeted JW but both are dealing, not only with the epidemic but also with family rejection. It's a sad, depressing movie, yes but it is beautifully filmed and exposes the Secular/Non-Secular bigotry of family during this terrible time in history. It's well worth watching.

Agreed! She kept persistently interrupting him when he tried to acknowledge her questions or comments. If someone is opening up about their personal (and painful) experiences, by all means, please let them speak.
