    I just got 23 Overland and I have to say, Jeep did a good job with the Infotainment. After playing with it few times, you get to understand the functions. Its pretty straight forward. Its organized well, not too messy and all over. Very clear to correct and understand the function. The screen clarity is excellent. The TomTom GPS IMO is better then Google's or Apple's. The sound system is incredible. You need to lower the base on XM. Its too boomey. Don't leave anything from hard plastic in the driver door's pocket. The lower speaker with rattle it and you will run to the dealer complaining. I hear many did...LOL. Thank you for a nice demo.

    What’s the best way to protect the passenger and rear screens from animals? Are there covers or could you just cover with Cling wrap. Additionally can GPS be viewed in the back?

    • @TwoGuysandaRide
      @TwoGuysandaRide  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the question. If you look on Amazon you can find some Pet resistant clear covers for the infotainment and the rear screens. I’m sure there is something similar for the passenger screen as well. Cling wrap in my opinion would not stand up well to Pets. As for your other question yes the navigation can be viewed from these rear screens. Thanks for watching!

    How to get front screen to control rear screens

    • @TwoGuysandaRide
      @TwoGuysandaRide  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thanks for the question. You should be able to control the rear screens front the front main infotainment screen by clicking on Media, then click on Rear Seat button. You can also control them from the front passenger screen by clicking on the Home icon, then swipe through apps till you see Rear Seat Entertainment and click on it. Thanks for watching and don’t forget to hit that subscribe button!

    Our Wagoneer has the "Navigation Handoff" option disabled. I cannot find how to enable it so I can send the planned route to the driver. Any ideas?

    • @TwoGuysandaRide
      @TwoGuysandaRide  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Thanks for the question. I believe in order to do that, you both have to sign in under different profiles. The driver can sign in on the main screen and the passenger can sign in to their profile on the passengers screen. If profiles have not been set up, then what ever navigation route the passenger selects, should be what the driver sees. To set up profiles you’ll need to do that on the main screen, set up one for the driver and one for the passenger. Once that’s done, each of you should sign into your own profile as described above then you will get the ability to send navigation requests as well as music suggestions to the driver. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

    I have to manually connect the Bluetooth everytime I start the car, and Bluetooth was the last media it was used before I turned off the car. How come it doesn't automatically connect just like every other cars?

    • @TwoGuysandaRide
      @TwoGuysandaRide  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the question. It should automatically connect. I would try deleting the phone from the vehicle then reconnect it and see if that improves the situation. The other thing you could try was to see if there are any updates either for your vehicle or your phone, run the updates and see if that fixes it. Otherwise I would suggest taking it back to the dealership and have them fix it. Thanks for watching!

    I connected the HDMI cable to my phone but then did nothing so I came here, I’m the driver and I was testing it with my sons phone since he’ll be the passenger. Do I need to also link his phone to the car, do the Bluetooth? And then it will connect?

    Every time I turn off my Wagoneer it changes the input from Bluetooth to FM when I crank it up again even though it was on Bluetooth when it was turned off. Is there a setting to change that?

    • @TwoGuysandaRide
      @TwoGuysandaRide  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for the question. To my knowledge there is not. It should remember your last audio source and show it when you start up the truck. I would suggest you check and see if there’s an update and run it, or try resetting the infotainment system to its defaults. If it still is doing the same thing after trying those items, then I would try having the dealership look into it. Thanks for watching!

    I continue to get message source not available while listening to US Bluetooth or C or XM connected content..what’s wrong?

    • @TwoGuysandaRide
      @TwoGuysandaRide  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the question. Does the source you’re using continue to play despite the message ? If so then it’s an issue with the video infotainment system itself. If the source your using quits playing once that message pops up then the problem could still be the infotainment system or it could also a problem with the “source”. Some ideas on how to remedy this: reset your infotainment system back to defaults. Check for updates to system. On your phone see if there any updates. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching!

    Honestly, the passenger screen is a bit pointless. You can't use anything unless the driver is not listening to any music. The minute you try to connect to a USB or Bluetooth, it tells you it's in use and cannot be used on this screen. (Sirius or Bluetooth). You can plug in a Firestick with HDMI , but then I might as well just watch something on my phone I can download for when I lose cellular. I know this comment is late in the game but it seems that there are absolutely no reviewers out there who actually tried to connect the screens and all reviewers are just showing how cool it is. You are able to send navigation to the driver screen which is great as navigation will not let you set a new destination while driving, rightfully so, you can also watch the back of the car or front, then get nauseous watching the stripes on the road. I don't have the backseat entertainment (not for the price of 5 Ipads!). However, the vehicle is a beauty, and I love everything about it...just not the hype about the passenger screen.

      I came here hoping to figure out how to sync my phone to the passenger screen while drivers phone is synced to the main screen.

    • @TwoGuysandaRide
      @TwoGuysandaRide  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@j2muw667 so what you would want to do is first pair your phone in the center infotainment screen. Once that is done, you can access the bluetooth audio from your phone in the passengers screen (to listen to your music from your phone while the driver is listening to something else you will need to pair a set of bluetooth earphones to the passengers screen). I connected a second phone to the passenger side screen via hdmi to get screen mirroring to watch videos. But when that is plugged in my main phone’s apple car play stops. I’m not sure why it’s not taking both of them.

    • @TwoGuysandaRide
      @TwoGuysandaRide  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for the question. Two thoughts here. First, I believe that you will need to go into the device manager in the central screen under settings and be sure that both phones are set to “active”. Then you should be able to have both phones connected at the same time. (I’m assuming the Apple CarPlay phone is being used on the center screen while the hdmi connected one is for the passenger screen. Secondly, in order for the passenger to do things independently of the drivers screen they should be logged in under their own profile. So you may need to create a drivers profile for both you and the other person. Then you would log in on the center screen and they would log in on the passenger screen. Between both of these ideas you should be able to get it working with both phones. Thanks for watching!

      Thank you for the quick response and information that is helpful to know also! To further clarify the question, at about 2:16 in the video the icon with a microphone and name of passenger voice is used to show how shortcuts/icons can be added at the top of the screen. However, I don’t know what that icon does? Is it to set up the passenger to use voice command or is it somewhat of a microphone to amplify passenger voices/my voice? Your videos have been the most helpful as we navigate how to use the functions! Thank you again!
