@@Sojto16 I can attest to that myself. I come from a Kendo background of 3 years, and when my dojo moved I joined a HEMA club and eventually helped start and maintain a HEMA club for 3 more years before being back in Kendo now. There's a lot of helpful stuff to take away from Kendo and apply to something like HEMA especially German Longsword, they both have very similar basics and philosophy.
