One of the best analysis vids so far. Love looking at that level of Kendo in such detail.

Didn't know Furukawa sensei was such a katsugi waza aficionado, beautiful deliveries, thanks for sharing.

Thanks for your work Andy. I have some questions for kendo rant:
    1. I currently have a 3 mm bogu set and the men is kind of stiff. After 1 h of practice or so, it can hurt quite a lot over the ears/ surrounding area. I'm looking to upgrade soon, do you think a wider stitching (makes it softer, right?) could help this? Or does it have to do with how it fits?
    2. Ideally, how tight should the men be on the chin? When putting it on I tie it so that it fits when my mouth is closed, but after a few exercises (moving the mouth and chin for kiai) it often loosens up and fits worse when my mouth is closed. Am I doing something wrong?
    Thanks in advance!

1 - yes, wider stitching will definitely result in more comfort, and more protection :)
2 - The Men should be rather tight, but if it fits you properly, even when you start practicing it will not loosen up and fit worse - it sounds like yours is too big.
      I hope that helps!
      Thanks
      Andy
