As far as I'm concerned, the way I use the iPhone and things in general, I think that I should use the said cover for 100 years, so that it looks like that, with hundreds of scratches and bumps
One is Ecco leather. Ecco is from Denmark in Europe and is one of the best and most modern tanneries in the world. Apple used Ecco leather in a lot of their products, as do a lot of other big brands. The other is old school American Horween leather. Is it worth the $20 extra? Hell no. Ecco leather is super nice, depending on which one they got, but they make as high quality of leathers as anyone would ever need including pristine analine veg tan. They also have a lot of technology these old school tanneries don't and are way more eco in how they do things.
I actually chose the modern leather due to the English Tan color this time round, for 13 it had it for Horween leather. But modern leather last longer, Horween patina too fast imo
Horween is the best tannery on the planet, IMO. The stuff they use on the Nomad cases is the lowest end stuff they offer though. If Nomad would make a case with Horweeb. Dublin leather I’d never buy another leather case
I purchased one, and the quality is very poor, there is no way this will protect against 10 feet drops as it claims. The leather is very very thin vaneer. They do not support free returns, or full returns value. You will loose your shipping costs and when you ship it back other reviews online about their customer service isn't great people claiming they never got their money back. I am hoping I do not have that issue but do not buy this as its over priced for a case that cannot even really protect your phone as the walls are as thing as paper, there is no quality in "bumper" design. I bet this vaneer will peel off after a few months as its so thin on an already very thin case.
I have owned several Nomad leather cases since 2017/2018 (from the 7 Plus). Keep buying them because I like theirs better than most other cases, and am currently using the Sports case for my 14 Pro. That said, I, too call bs on their drop protection. The cases are way too thin and minimalistic and there's *very* minimal lip to protect the screen, if any. Can't speak for the Rugged case because I don't have one, but if you're buying Nomad cases it should be for looks and not drop protection.
Like the comment above, ive been buying nomad cases for years. Nothing you describe has happen to any of mine, lol and i take my phone in the shower 😂. I literally still have my iphone x and 11pro, 7 plus, all still have their Nomad cases. The leathers have patina nicely, modern leather is nice and soft. No bubbling or anything. I also use them for my airpods cases, again no issue. I have upgraded to the iPhone 15 Pro and just got the english tan and for my pods pro. I had the old leather rugged and personally loves it due to the waterproofing.
Both are real leather. Horween is tanned leather from Chicago and is known for being used in more rugged products. Modern Leather is made by Ecco Tanneries, it's real leather, and it's generally used in the fashion industry.
Read up before you make a review. It´s not vegan leather.
Website says “Full grain, sustainably sourced leather” for the non horween so not vegan 😝

Horween is vegetable tanned … as far as I know the other leather isn’t.
What vegan leather are you talking about? Now we see your expertise) They are both real leather, different tannery tho
So there’s no nfc tag behind the case anymore?
I had the active rugged case and nomad said it wasn’t leather lol
So I’m undecided which nomad case to buy now. Horween or the normal leather
I need to know the difference between the leather and horween leather case s as I plan on buying the black modern nomad case
it's been a year and you didn't correct the vegan leather thing even in a comment
Is horween slippery?
Please review other manufacturers like Andar, Blackbrook, etc. We’ve seen your reviews on Nomad already

Review caudabe sheath case and the synthesis case
Also review otterbox synthesis case

Which ones thicker? I’m serious as I need the thinner one
Nomad case already adds bulk
I might try caudabe sheath and the synthesis case

Does it feel the same as horween?
To me no the Horween feels thicker
It’s not vegan?

If Nomad would make a case with Horweeb. Dublin leather I’d never buy another leather case
That would be like $500 would you pay that?
@@TechinfluenceTV I have a Horween English Tan Dublin belt from Ashland that I paid $80 for. 🤷🏻♂️

Vegan leather is not real right ( like apple cases ) ?
Nope
He was incorrect. Both are real leather.
Are you sure the modern leather case is vegan?
It’s not. I think he just confused vegan with a vegetable tanning process. He made the same mistake in the Apple leather case review.
What a BS. both a real leather, different tannery.
It’s not vegan leather…..🤦♂️
