    As a Polish person living in England for over 10 years, I've been working with many Afghans over those years and I must say that they are one of the most genuine, honest, funny and wise nations I have ever encountered. Once they acknowledge your good intentions they become lifelong faithful friends and they will never turn their back on you. Can't stand how media is demonizing Afghans and their country at the moment and I hope peace and prosperity will come to Afghanistan soon!

    Awwww this reminds me of my Dad. I feel so blessed- he used to practice medicine in North Oakland, California. His patient population was very diverse. And sometimes out of thanks they were sweet and generous enough to bring him home cooked food. So we were lucky enough to sometimes have home cooked Pakistani & Afghani food. Food, like Music- brings people together. It’s a beautiful thing when people come together and break bread. The sharing of cultural and political views were so interesting. Anthony Bourdain would be proud too. Hopefully we can all take this lesson home with us and keep practicing it. I think it’s what Bourdain wished, and worked for- for people to get over their judgments- and to come together over food, and learn to respect each other and each other’s cultures through food.

    Never had Afghan food but I'm glad to know that the food is not too spicy. He's right, a lot of times, Indian cooks go overboard with the spices and chilies. For me it throws off the balance of flavor of the dish. Can't wait to try Afghan food!

    Aside from the Beautiful food
    The guy himself has a very beautiful personality and I love how he correctly broke down the stereotypes about Islam/Muslims. Also how he explained certain things that Muslims part take in like Ramadan . Not only did he tell him what fasting entails but he also explained why we fast 👏🏽 #Respect

  • @emgee81
    @emgee81 7 ปีที่แล้ว +42

    If Ramadan is sunrise to sunset then what do the Muslims do in Norway? Genuine question.

    • @muhammadhazarul
      @muhammadhazarul 7 ปีที่แล้ว +26

      Cricklewoodchick81 normally if that happens, they usually follow mecca's timezone, Example, in oslo it's 7:30 pm and no sunset, so they just use mecca's timezone to break their fast.

    • @emgee81

      Cricklewoodchick81 I used to fast almost 22h. So God almighty orders us in Quran to fast from sunrise till sunset, it's not important anywhere u r. Some scholars make new rules, but those are absolutely not valid. No rule made by anybody any scholar can cancel the rule of Quran.

      This shows you that muhammad didn't really figure out this Islam thing fully.

    • @zagkhan9756
      @zagkhan9756 7 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      BaWare Yneb well Muhammad (pbuh) spread the message of Islam for only 22 years in which time Islam was clearly a very new religion and in which time the Quran was being revealed. Islam had yet not reached a global scale and so such guidelines were not discussed. Some thought we should follow Mecca hours, some thought the nearest Muslim country. As with every religion teaching get misinterpreted and changed. However not matter how you carry the it out, it is accepted as long as it's with the right intention. If you just study Islam with a non biased and opened minded view, you will be amazed. I say this because even though I was born a Muslim I did not inherit my religion, but I studied it hard and did ALOT of research to find my answers. There is a reason 1.8 billion people took the path of Islam in 1400 years and is the 2nd most popular religion to Christianity (2000 years old).
      I hope you take my reply positively Have a nice day.

      Pakistan is a very large country with an incredibly diverse ethnic makeup, and people in the northwestern corner are very similar culturally to afghans (I mean, there isn't even a real border between the two countries). I'm not sure why you're so upset about this, it's just food lmao

    • @5lionkhorassan100
      @5lionkhorassan100 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Sameer Kamal what you mean there isn't much difference? Or even border Before Pakistan it used to be Hindustan and before
      Afghanistan was khorassan and it used to be and till now is borders is two different cultures. I know your point ☝️ u pointing at Pashtuns at south of Afghanistan because they share quiet close cultural combination as hindustanis but not everyone is like them there are turkmens- tajiks- uzbeks- Iranis - kazak etc. The people who are in this video representing Afghanistan food are Pashtuns is also one of the ethnic that lives in Afghanistan which has quiet similar cultural as hindustanis.

    • @5lionkhorassan100
      @5lionkhorassan100 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      eazzy ee how uneducated is this? Iraq /Iran/ Afghanistan has nothing to do with south Asians,
      South Asians does not have any food or cultural things with middle eastern,
      Yes maybe Afghanistan because of Pashtuns who share similar culture but deffo not Iran and Iraq, Pakistan and India used to be one country called Hindustan
      So no and actually islam is the one that brought common things between these countries, and no we don't share shame roots, it's like saying red indians and white Americans sharing roots lol
