It was double timing too. 12:40 Sacy was late peeking when Chichoo was already in Market and smacked 2 kills. If Sacy hold that small angle to mid then SEN would retake the site comfortably

It’s easier to make (and I think more entertaining to watch) a video about a team being bad than a team being good. He makes 1 video for each day but only covers 1 of the 2 matches. I think all it is is that he chose to cover TH FNC since there was some pretty bad stuff there

he said at some points EDG had good plans, but it is undeniable that SEN wasn't playing to their best ability, still impressive from EGD though, just like how it was impressive for SEN to beat GenG even though they were having a bad game
did you watch the match? EDG were trolling throughout, even on sunset - overpushing like crazy KangKang kept just going solo and dying, bad calls etc and yet Sen still couldn't beat them. EDG did some good stuff but also did a lot of bad stuff. This match wasn't like the fnatic G2 match where FNC just destroyed them. Any other team left in the competition would've beaten EDG.
@@xlumin9739What are you spewing? Edg barely had any bad calls, how can a team make so many bad calls and yet go up 10-2 on a half? Kang kang had a few overheat moments but they were all when edg were up 1-2 people or he had ult against a lower buy and him sending it isn’t even that bad because they get info on where the enemy team is and the other players on his team play well enough to not lose the round. While Sen had some bad rounds the main reason they lost was because edg were just better.
It's not just the bad map design, because if you watch other Sen games on Sunset it's a very good map for them because they can retake B extremely well. In fact, their comp with the Neon stuns + Breach stun and aftershock + Fade seize is very well designed for destroying B main during B retake. In other games, they retake B consistently. However, EDG's comp counters theirs with the Kayo knife/ult and Sova dart/ult being extremely good at disrupting a coordinated B retake
looking at this comment section, yknow what, i’m kinda glad we only have one VCT team’s fanbase to put up with acting like this. Sentinels is helping filter every other team’s fanbase to be healthier by attracting the people with this sort of behaviour.

On round 5 of sunset, you can see that KK actually wouldn't have been able to buy because he only spent 550 creds meaning someone bought his sheriff, so EDG could've only had 4 rifles, not 5

If SEN wants to retake B site, they will need to take control on Bottom Mid then 3 people go flank attackers. Zellsis straight line stun B main, Sacy throw seize, Zekken throw stun, TenZ from the in site throw Blind. Boom, clean retake

i strongly believe that it would be better if you retake from behind. like 2 ppl site, 3 lurking and just do the retake like that bc with breach and fade utility, omen one ways and just good utility usage you can take them out of b main very easy or make them fight you. then the other 2 in site just have to help and shoot. i mean retaking the site from b main instead of playing that broken post plant might just be a perfect counter.

Thanks for your thoughts on this, and I hope the plethora of "TMV is a SEN hater" don't get to you too much. The Sunset passivity reminded me a bit of the C9-NRG game where they came back from 12-5. Here, SEN seemed to give up so much real estate and info that they're pressuring themselves into retakes. Credit to EDG also for putting SEN in that position where they felt like they couldn't get info or real estate without running into 2-3 players. Contrast that to the final round where EDG hard push SEN straight into their spawn.

Sen fan, but I do watch all of TMVs videos. Kinda sad that he either downplays Sen, didn't cover the win vs GenG or DRX. Then just goes onto bash on Sen on a video losing to EDG. Kinda sad tbh, I mean yeah I know the EU bias, but it's just crazy.
I don't know why but a bit ago tenz was super inconsistent, but now tenz seems to be the exact opposite, zekken never seems to get emotional always focused if he starts slow he can bounce back an any moment, but the team as a whole struggles a lot when in trouble, if they start losing they start losing hard

EDG actually read the round 5 defense as Sentinels tend to do something of the sort against big ultimates and most notably Kay/O ult. Maybe not buying was part of the plan of playing entirely post plant (as they did it 4 times that half). I don't really get why they didn't Kay/O ult during Sentinels retake, would have made it impossible to smoke the bomb or contest b main.

I love Sen but, it appears that their sunset is just not that great. I noticed it too in the DRX game, but Sen tend to stack heavy A most of the time. Even when DRX was slamming/ending B most rounds, they still opted for 1-1-3 or even a 1-4 setuptowards A or and mostly left John to Solo B most rounds in that game. I understand Sen like playing retake and is one of their stronger points, but retake on Sunset B is just too difficult at these top tier stages, where teams know what they're doing and can easily play for spam. I remember getting a bit frustrated during the DRX game cause even I noticed that they were going B most of the time, and it was almost a free site for plant. Im not a high elo player but If i notice that they are heavy B i would at least try 2-1-2, 3-1-1 or even 3-2. At minimum dont give them B site or that much space as comfortably as that have been. Then as TMV said, they don't seen to have a good mid protocol. I saw similar patterns in the game here as well.
If SEN played well it would of been 2-0, Johnqt never called to fight A on Lotus or rush a C hit. They use breach stun at start of round and they have no mollies to stop a C hit, im not sure why Johnqt played so weird on attack side. They have no Raze nade to stop Tenz/Zekken from crossing A rubble is so easy to get control of, instead they just gave EDG free map control for no reason at all. The one round they did take A, they just left and ran back C for some reason.
If fnc,edg,th,te,drx,g2 etc if they played well than they would have definitely won the last games which they lost and probably would have won the tournament

There's a lot of stuff here that EDG did that shouldn't have worked but it did (THE MATCH POINT IN SUNSET IN PARTICULAR). KangKang overheats like a lot and it's criminal how much he gets away with some of those kills. Then again, Sen didn't really play that particularly well either. I couldn't remember the round in Sunset, but they tried faking A but didn't sell it hard enough for EDG to rotate out of B so they just got bombarded as soon as they hit B.
