Those cops were not "owned". The auditor allowed them to infringe on his rights. The auditor was "owned".
Exactly. Allowed the feelings enforcers to bully him outside, when they had no authority to do so, or even be there. (Assuming there was no formal agreement of jurisdiction between their department & the postmaster)

I wouldn't say he's a bad auditor it may be his first time and he probably didn't know exactly what to do in a situation like that or probably didn't want to go to jail. I think he did a great job. And I hope this is his first time doing it and he alone. Maybe he just watch other people and watch other videos on TH-cam. He will learn he will get better.. He will know what he can and can not do so. Therefore, I mean, that's just my opinion. It's not that he's a bad auditor. He just probably don't know.

They asked you to leave. Then lied to you the whole time. Why did you leave? Talk is cheap. Just stating your rights means nothing when you throw them away in order to comply with a request. Complaints on the Post Office worker and the cops should be made.

That karen was guilty of assault and disturbing the peace. The cops are wrong, stupid and incompetent but I think they did prevail, enforced feelings of a psycho and violated his rights. Not sure "owned" is accurate.
I hope 15 auditors visit this post office, and I hope these two uneducated cops are there to confront them.
Inland Auditing Media is the gold standard of knowledge and competence in the auditing space. There are far too many "auditors" who are prematurely entering the field, unprepared. This is one of them.

They didn't stick up for the little guy, they kicked you out of a public building.
The auditor obeyed the request and left the publicly accessible area and did not return.

That guy didn't own the cops, they owned him. He lost that battle and didn't properly stand up for his rights. He never asked for a supervisor, never questioned the officers on whether they even have jurisdiction on federal property, didn't suggest that they call the Postal Police, he just let those cops walk all over him.

He should have walked right back into the "store" and resumed recording, especially since he was not being trespassed and was only being asked to leave. A request can be declined, legally. At it ended, no one learned anything.

This should've been titled as a Karen shutdown, rather than an audit win. The police were horrible on the "trespass" part, but the auditor allowed his rights to be violated with minimal pushback.

Before recording in a post office find out if the town entered into an agreement with them for concurrent jurisdiction. If not then those officers can be arrested for bringing their firearms onto federal property

How is it that after all of these years of the 1st. Amendment movement, these “LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS” still don't understand the Public Photography Laws nor the differences between public or private property? Do they even try to do their jobs better? RIDICULOUS!
Because she is public servant, maybe postal worker is a public servant that needs to know what they are just like the pigs. Federal property is public property and can’t be trespassed unless committed a crime.
Having a woman police officer show up in a real emergency is like a car mechanic showing up when you need a emergency surgery not good for anyone.

You can’t be trespassed from a public place unless you commit a crime. The post office is a public building. The cop said he had the right to record which is true. She also said he had to leave because the manager said so which is not true. She also said he wasn’t being trespassed but being asked to leave is the same result. The manager is a federal employee thus a public servant and is obliged to identify.
The auditor gave his first name which he wasn’t obliged to do. He also got walked out by the cops.
Karen who is “going to sue” and her aggressive male friend need to calm their tits.
All told, no one was educated and the auditor let his 1A be violated.

It’s NOT ILLEGAL to record transactions or private information, it’s only ILLEGAL TO USE THE INFORMATION for personal gain.
