You have a right to refuse any cop into your home without the proper warrant. The last couple of things that you mentioned, if a cop is chasing someone and they entered a home . Then a cop can go into that home and get that person.

why do cops attempt to press charges for 'pan handling' when fire dept's do it all the time. In fact just today I had to avoid about 15 firemen standing in middle of road with buckets begging for money and no cops ever showed up to arrest them of pan handling!!

If the police have a warrant, they don't need you to be at the house. They don't need you to come out and talk to them. They don't need anything else, they have their warrant (arrest or search, it can make a difference) they don't need consent they can just enter. If they say they have a VALID warrant tell them to put it under the door, even if you aren't home. This chick already lied to you about cameras being an 'officer safety' issue, I wouldn't trust her if she said she was a cop, she had a gun, and the sky is blue.

For the second part, cops don't keep asking if they actually have a warrant. Cops are allowed by law to lie. But to actually execute a warrant, it must be presented to you first. If there is an actual warrant, record and clearly state that you do not not consent to any searches or seizures outside of the written scope of the warrant and then stand aside.
It's all about giving your lawyer the strongest possible position to suppress any of their findings.
We have to think long game against these tyrants, embarrass them in court, file complaints, and even 1983 lawsuits.
