According to a scientific study, this is the happiest song ever.
It was me that did that study. I just played the song one day, and it made me very happy. More than any other song.
i think it was one of them but the true no 1 was dont stop me now by queen i think im not sure
@@m1lan417 We're both right 😀. There have been 2 different studies, apparently.
@@DrStrangelove3891 both bangers too
Tears of joy.
Not only is this the happiest song in the history of rock, but it so sophisticated and well-constructed that you can listen to it over and over, year after year, and always feel the excitement and joy.
My father died in September 1977, aged 52 and I was 18. I spent the winter in quite a dark place (naturally). This song came out in March 1978. One day I went on a bike ride in the sunshine, and this song was in my head. It helped turn me around to enjoy the things I loved before.
A sad but beautiful comment. Music helped me through the loss of my father, when I was only 21 and he was only 47. I grew to love life and every day. Peace and love to you!
Love your comment and thanks for sharing that. We are all connected to this in some way.
My generation had some fabulous music, which I still play because it’s the best!
Today's music absolutely crap
One of UK's most loved songs of all time
I love this lady. She has music in her soul.
ELO we’re the spiritual successors to the Beatles. ‘Nuff said.
HA! ELO make the Beatles look like a bunch of busking school boys. :D
@@martythemartian99 how disrespectful, but Jeff did work with The Beatles. Jeff was inspired by The Beatles in his own words for that alone you should show more respect to The Beatles.
@@jewelheart1708 Just a joke. I'm just a big ELO fan so I'd say they are bigger than Mozart. 😁
@@martythemartian99That's quite a remark coming from one in love with a band that copied and mimicked the Beatles
@@WarrenhFrye Never forget, the word Fan is derived from Fanatic.
There is no reasoning with us crazy people. 😵💫
I love seeing the joy in your face as you become aware of the best music ever...and we had the privilege of growing up with it.
Hi Sarah! I'm glad you liked the song! I'm a big ELO fan and I'm so happy so see that new generations are realizing how great the older songs are. So upbeat and happy! Great music! More people should listen to happier songs. It can make one feel so much better in life. Everyone should listen to more of the classic rock songs! ELO, Boston, Journey, Queen, so many out there just waiting to be rediscovered.
Perfect uplifting song for a beautifully uplifting lady to react to. This made me feel better after a long, upsetting day.
At the end of the song, "Mister Blue Sky" was written on the screen, but what they actually sang (through the voice box) was "Please turn me over." The track was the last on one side of the LP record, and the ending was a prompt to flip the record over to keep listening!
Growing up my little sister used to annoy the hell out of me playing this album constantly day after day, tragically she lost her life in a car accident a few years ago, 40 years on and this song reminds me of Linda and i now love this song.
Sorry about the loss of your sister ❤
Hi young lady check out Jeff Lynne's ELO - Telephone Line (Live at Wembley Stadium). A smashing song.
I second that!
This tune so reminds me of a place i worked back in the early 80,s .
It wasnt particularly exciting where i worked ,but the era was just a great time in my life , being a young lad at the time,i was about 19 years old , now 63 time is a flyer that's for sure🎶
The Happiest Song on Earth.
I remember when I was at a birthday party in Fulda Germany ,my German friend was playing that song ELO Mr. Blue sky's, we had LP,s back then, she kept playing Mr. Blue Sky's over and over again on that record player because it was her birthday party 🎉
Jeff Lynne (who comes from my home City of Birmingham, UK) is a great musician and producer. E.L.O. have loads of fantastic songs and they sound just as good (if not better) live than they do on the studio versions. My favourite song is 'All Over The World' which is a happy song and there are flash mob videos on You Tube to this tune.Jeff Lynne was also in the super group 'The'Travelling Wilburys' with George Harrison (The Beatles), Roy Orbison, Tom Petty and Bob Dylan.
Then you are familiar with the older band The Move with the great Roy Wood. They don't make music like they used to anymore, eh? I'm so glad we have recordings to enjoy.
I, too recommended "All Over the World" with the flashmob video. Talk about an upbeat, feel great song!
@@briandonovan1584 ELO has so many great songs! I can't choose just one favourite but I really like Shine A Little Love , On the Run and Can't Get it Out Of My Head. There really aren't any bad ELO songs.
@@animemanganetYou are correct, my friend!
Yes one song is called Birmingham Blues 😂
Loved you reaction to ELO, Totally Awesome Band of MUSICIANS 👍🤙👌😁🤗
ELO was one of kind and a fitting follow on to The Beatles with whom they were friends. I think it was John Lennon who said they were doing what The Beatles would be doing IF they were still a band. Their connection with and approval of The Beatles is the stuff of legends. You must watch the "All Over the World" flashmob video with people breaking into dancing en mass from India to the US to Lithuania. Its also an incredible feel good song and the flashmobs are terrific. Love your reaction! Cheers, young lady.
"They're like son-of I Am the Walrus." - John Lennon
Guaranteed to make you smile - remember it so well. Classic ELO
This song gives me happy memories of my dear brother, who passed away in 2017. Thank you, Sarah 🙂
Electric Light Orchestra makes me happy! Along with your beautiful smile and spirit, makes the skies bluer and sunshine brighter!🌻🌞 Thank you, Sarah! ❤🙏😊
Such an uplifting song one of the greats, sheer feel good factor. Always gets a massive reaction.
I've been entranced by ELO since wayyy back when, so much beautiful music, so glad folks are discovering a generation of fantastic and timeless tunes, love your reaction and ya got a new sub :)
ELO was the first concert that I ever took my wife to when we were still dating. (1977) Jeff Lynne was good friends with George Harrison and produced several songs by George. He, also, teamed up with George in forming the Traveling Wilburys. You really need to check that band out, too.
Sarah,, Electric Light Orchestra has a HUGE catalog of classic songs,, You can close your eyes,, pick any song on the list & you will NEVER be disappointed.
ELO are a fabulous group. Jeff Lynne is a musical genius. a master guitarist, songwriter, arranger, producer, and genuinely really nice guy. Check out the concert "Wembly or Bust" released a few years back. It's two hours of complete joy.
They just announced they are touring. Probably for the last time.
I’m becoming a big fan of yours, your reactions are priceless. Great reaction once again.
Welcome to the happy world of elo 😊😊😊😊
Loved them in the 70's. One of my favourite groups and when Jeff did his tour in the UK in the 2000's I saw them and they were fab.❤
Sarah, your smile is contagious. Beautiful reaction to a great song and a great band. They were one of the first to combine classic rock with classical music. The lead singer and guitarist is Jeff Lynne who later helped form The Travelling Wilburys with George Harrison, Bob Dylan, and Roy Orbison. They are on tour now!!
Don't forget Tom Petty!
Most of em aren't around anymore
Cheers from Chile 🇨🇱
Electric Light Orchestra "Tightrope" is an absolute MUST HEAR Classic..Truth!! 🔥
It's 1974 im 12 years old and ELO was playing everywhere
Out of the Blue was the very first album I bought way in 1978 when I was 13, I am 59 now and still have copy, complete with poster and cardboard cutout model of the spaceship.
Classic song and I loved your reaction watching it and talking about it afterwards. You are as happy as the song and made me smile as much too!
I highly recommend listening to Concerto of a Rainy Day which is a compilation of fours songs ending with Mr. Blue Sky. Jeff Lynne, the master of ELO, went to Scandinavia to write part of his album and due to the nonstop rain had writer's block. In his frustration he decided to write about the rain and then finally the weather cleared. Jeff Lynne said in an interview, “It was dark and misty for 2 weeks and I didn’t come up with a thing. Suddenly the sun shone and it was, ‘Wow, look at those beautiful Alps.’
Love how you reacted, it is a very uplifting song and definitely makes you smile
This is the song I start every day with. I'm glad you like it. Perhaps you can play it when you start your days in the future.
Carry Mr. Blue Sky with you and share your beautiful smile
I grew up with this magic back in the day, even got a blue vinyl edition of this single and album as well. great easy days lost, today's world is tooooo mad..,
Love that Les Paul gold top. 👌 One of the best guitars ever built. Beautiful to look at, beautiful to play and the most beautiful sound. 😍 😊
HAPPY!!!!! so damn good lol - If you want to watch again, catch the version that's all animated, it's somehow even *happier
And they are touring again soon. 🎶🎶🎶
The happiest song of all time. Paints a picture of strolling through town..
Making people happy since the 70’s great tune 👍
Enjoyed your reaction Sarah
This is the happiest song ever and it automatically makes a person smile and feel good ❤ 🇬🇧
ELO with Jeff Lynne are something else! Good pick, Sarah!
Happiest song ever!
I really love your reactions.
I was born in 1971 it song about opening your curtains in the morning and the sun is shining not a cloud in site. Yep they know how it feels.
Pure feel-good music
another nice song frm elo- vey got a lot!
Sarah, you must listen to more ELO music, the mix of modern and orchestral is just wonderful together and just somehow penetrates the mind and soul.
LOVELOVELOVE ELO.
E L O..... greatest ever.... ever...
Its a faboulous song but also sad for us in the UK.Any sunshine,we are out there and feel so much happier. 🎉😂
Dedicated to my old mate Ian, who passed away in his early 20s, he loved this song
I know this song is a few generations older than the MCU.
But I can only see Baby Groot dancing to this while carnage goes on all around him. 😀
Hey there sarah , its a special song for me it was released the year i left highschool and i have very fond memories of this song. I have been listening to ELO since Do ya , and mama belle . Have a listen to those you wont be dissapointed. Regards
Great reaction to a fabulous band and song!! 😅
We need more Blue Skies in the world today. To much sadness.❤
Brilliant song
Love this song! Made my mood much better too 😊
Jeff Lynne’s varied musical background catalogue is second to none. Now a much wanted producer
Best feel good record ever made
Big fan of Jeff Lynne and ELO. This is one of their best.
Don't worry. be happy. What an uplifting masterpiece. Thank you Mr. Lynne.
I love your reaction!!! your as nearly happy as the song!. ELO - Jeff Lynne a master at work. It's one of the most uplifting songs ever written. Yes you should watch iy again. So Brilliant. So Clever. Take care. Love your reaction again!
At the very end, the voice says please turn me over. That is because it was the last song on the A side of the album.
i love this especially the drummers animatronic movements
Mr, Blue Sky is the last song. On the first side of the second album Out of the Blue. The rest of the songs preceding the song are about rainy weather literally and emotionally.
Finally 😀 I can be happy again 😀😀😀😀
Great reaction, thank you. I seen them live in Anaheim, California and it was a great show, the string section had a few more players. I remember the violin player went off on a great solo, and what talent the had.
How can you not be in a better mood after listening to this? 😁
Это офигенно ❤
Beautiful song and reaction 🙂
Loved this review, you smiling to this is pure sunshine 🌞
We had the best songs in the 70s
It is BONKERS!
One of my very favorite ELO songs
If your going to watch it again watch the live version from the concert "Wembley Or Bust"
E.L.O.has banger after banger! Next up,Telephone Line!
Certain classic songs are perfect to start your day with & this is one of them,, Another perfect day starter is,, Bob Marley "Three Little Birds" ❤
A masterpiece, ye gods, my generation were so lucky. There was a lot that was sh*t about the 70s but the music was out of this world.
I feel sorry for youngsters today, in my day we had great song writers, musicians and singers who could perform live or recorded without "autotune". Such marvellous talent and this is a good example. Such complex composing.
Your reaction was so beautiful.
Love this song! ELO had their biggest hits in the 70's-80's & mixed modern rock pop songs with classical overtones. Jeff Lynne wrote most of their songs. They had a lot of great hits such as "Showdown", "Telephone Line", "Can't Get It Out Of My Head", "Strange Magic", "Livin' Thing", "Do Ya", "Rockaria!", "Turn To Stone", "Sweet Talkin' Woman", "Wild West Hero", "Don't Bring Me Down", "Shine A Little Love", "Confusion", "Hold On Tight", "Twilight" etc.
Yes!!!❤
ELO (Jeff Lyne is the lead singer/writer/arranger etc) were (and still are) music masters, the live from Wembley Stadium (2017) videos are not to be missed
And, of course, he was with Dylan, Petty, Harrison & Orbison in The Traveling Wilburys
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ 👍
GENIUS
I used to listen to this when I was a teenager. Brought a tear to my eye.
Well it’s totally true, we have a party and a sing-song when we see Mr Blue Sky in the UK, we do get scared by BOB, the Big Orange Ball that accompanies him though!
I love your reactions. You are so into it. Love you
You have a great reaction to any song you play ❤
I love your reactions!
Did you catch the music "Please turn me over"? This was the last song on a old fashoned vinyl Long Playing record so they built it into the music.
Rockaria is another classic.
