    I’m from Rhode Island and Newport is the last place you want to live in the state unless you have a couple million to spare. The schools are awful, poverty is high, traffic is horrible, tourists are everywhere, and the best beaches are over the bridge in Narragansett. If you wanna live on an island in Rhode Island, go for Jamestown. It’s more affordable, a small community, they go to surrounding magnet schools that are really good and there’s basically no poverty.

Being a college town, Dartmouth, there are always plenty of cultural and sporting events going on. No nightclubs because all the college students party in the fraternities. The beyond best ice cream I have had to date is Tillamook's peanut butter . It's so good I ate almost the entire pint when I was driving & then I got dizzy soon after, not knowing why.
    I thought it could be a sugar high, but instead I felt sick

    • @NickJohnson

      almost the whole pint? I never leave any left in a pint when i open it. i need to try it!

    • @kaleendavis8427
      @kaleendavis8427 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@NickJohnson I wanted to finish it & it was that good, but I thought of the vulgarity of actually doing that . I ate 3/4 of the pint. Man, if you even just like peanut butter, you must try it. It made me almost get in a car accident.
      True story: when I was eating it at an intersection, there was seriously a car accident that just happened right in the intersection & my first thought was " I have time to eat more now!!!!!!" , Because the traffic was stopped 😀

    Came here to see Nebraska because I'm interested in that State (I'm from Italy) and while Norfolk is a good city to live in, i have to disagree whether it's the best to live in Nebraska. It's still really really good but imo the best is Papillion, which has a similar population to Norfolk, a slightly higher but otherwise almost identical crime rate, but slightly more amenities, better User Ratings and it's closer to Omaha, the biggest city, so you can get everything by driving just a few miles. Norfolk also has a worse employment (rated C-) compared to Papillion (A+) and also, Papillion is ranked as "#1 best places to live in Nebraska". I also believe it was like on the top 30 best places as a whole in the USA. So if i were to move to America, and i picked Nebraska, my choice would fall on Papillion. The crime rate is only slightly higher than Norfolk, but Papillion is still REALLY safe compared to most of America, and like I said before, you're closer to Omaha and employment in Papillion is better. But it's just my opinion, someone might prefer papillion, someone else might prefer Norfolk, someone might even think a totally different city/town is the best in NE. But idc, you can think whatever you want, you're free of expressing opinions.

    I grew up near Sarasota and it was God-awful. Mostly elderly retirees, and they are MEAN. I had so many yell at me for no reason at all. So many “silver alerts” on the highways because “silver-haired people” get lost driving, since they’re senile.
    And they would just pull out into oncoming traffic. So many accidents.
    In Sarasota and surrounding towns, the youths have a big drug problem.
    The crime is rising, too. My parents who loved it at first are actually looking to leave now, which I never ever thought I would say.

    Claremont. Funny story, a long time ago I was at the Claremont Colleges for an event there. I was trying to turn around in one of the parking lots where there was a lot of people traffic and a Karen started yelling at me (while I was in my car trying to turn around) shouting “you can’t park here! You can’t park here!” Her eyes were poppin out of their sockets. Uh, I wasn’t trying to park...geez. Man she was nuts, and there tends to be quite a few folks like her, but besides that, the town is pretty nice. 😊
