Ink cartridges cost too much, so I don't buy them anymore. It's actually cheaper to get a new printer than to buy the cartridge alone. I just donate the printers to Vietnam Veterans-it's a win-win.
For the ants outside, I always put dry grits at the top and in a circle around the mound. Grits really swell. Ants eat a tiny bit and swell and unalive, the rest taken into the mound, is eaten and they poof as well. Been doing it for 30 years now.
