    Thank you for showing us your method for restoring tarnished steel track. It's still useful stuff and there's plenty of it out there cheaply, too.
    The fishplates are often overlooked, and not easy to replace on Triang track.
    Some have suggested Peco O gauge fishplates can work but I have yet to see anyone actually demonstrate it!

      The fish plates for code 125 are indeed hard to find separately.
      There is a lot of unwanted Series 3 and Super 4 track out there that they can be harvested from and cleaned up for reuse though.
